True story, Brendan Gleeson used to be my English Teacher in Secondary school (high school for Americans) and he would often take his banjo into class and play some tunes for us.
the film, especially their relationship in the film, is an allegory for the Irish Civil War. About people who were once allies, friends, brothers in arms & family, that were torn apart by political differences that bled into their personal lives and led to war.
He is handsome, but doesn't it look like he's had a bit of work done? I know almost everyone in Hollywood has had at least one or two procedures, but still.
I love them both. When Colin walked onto the set of Falling for a Dancer, set in my favourite place in the world, Glengarriff, I fell in love. He was about 19 and I knew he was going to be a big star x
Yeah! 1976 represent! 😂😂😂 (Honestly, I didn't realize that Colin Farrell and Cillian Murphy were both my age, and even a few months older than I am. Sweet!)
Whenever they said it was good to see eachother, I felt a sense of wholesomeness I haven't felt since that girl told kermit the frog she loves him after trolling him when signing the alphabet 🥲
In Bruges was such an underrated comedy. These two really have some great chemistry together. I think I might watch that today.
Their new film - The Banshees of Inisherin - is brilliant!
It wasn't underrated at all. It's critically acclaimed and incredibly popular.
My fav movie to this day
@@MarkSkids On the internet, "underrated" means "I told my friend and he didn't know about it".
@@aphextriplet6850 absolutely phenomenal
Colin doesn't age, and everything Brendan touches is Oscar worthy. 🤔
Yes he does
Brendan is pure gold. Totally love him!! He doesn’t get enough recognition in the US.
All facts
@@mhm8922 Absolutely agree with you. Glad he's got more recognition, but feel like he deserves more at the same time. 😁
Austin is winning the oscars and sags because he had the best performance!!!!!
Cillian Murphy hosting would be hilarious.
Cillian popping up behind them to sing would have been as funny as Barry Gibb popping up with Fallon and Timberlake on their Bee Gees sketch.
YESSS
Isn't he quite a reserved guy? Might not want to.
Oh he would never 🤣🤣. Waaay too shy and introverted for that!
He would be so shy and nervous
"Paddington Bear" 💥
"Cillian Murphy"🥊💥🏆
Well, he's not wrong.
True story, Brendan Gleeson used to be my English Teacher in Secondary school (high school for Americans) and he would often take his banjo into class and play some tunes for us.
Oh my goodness- that’s amazing
He was my Defence Against the Dark Arts Teacher at Hogwarts. One day he turned that Malfoy tool into a ferret. Good times.
I'm jealous, wish I would've had an English teacher like that!
@@IndigoIndustrial 😂😂😂 👍
There’s a reason the banjo is unforgivable but to perform it in a classroom
This has such father Ted and Dougal energy
That would be an ecumenical matter.
@@johnfreeman9505 I can't like your comment enough.
"Now one more time, these cows...are small. Those...are FAR AWAY"

"The Banshees.." was a brilliant flick about how stubborn men can be, even surrounded by the most beautiful landscape.
Agreed!
Jaw dropping land scape for sure. Great movie!
Yep. Glad to see those fingers back playin’ away and the two gettin’ along.
And the Troubles.

Their movie "In Bruges" is one of my dad's favourite and is also one of mine. Great actors
Colin looks so handsome. He’s a lovely man and talented to boot.
And he had the good taste to hit on Dame Eileen Atkins about 20 years ago. It’s a wonderful story they both tell.
He is handsome, but doesn't it look like he's had a bit of work done? I know almost everyone in Hollywood has had at least one or two procedures, but still.
He’s stunning
I love these two in the neediest way🍀🍀🍀🍀
Oh I do hope they continue to make films together with Martin McDonagh. In Bruges is a masterpiece and I really enjoyed The Banshees of Inisherin.

That’s the equivalent of an Irish banjo 🪕 🤣
You mean instrument?
They introduced the 🪕 to america then we bastardized it like we do
