Lisa, sending a belated thank you! As of a few days ago, it appears as if her office needs a touch-up, but it's held up for the most part and she has been so pleased with it.

Your mom is super sweet and special. I have one like that, too. She and sister are also active in PEO. I'm the baby black sheep I guess. It just never was my thing.

Oh! returns of any category! They are a problem for me. I need to get a better system and use it. Amazon I think is one that is the hardest for me to get on the stick and do it right away.

These on-site videos where I show the process are by far my favorite too, it's just not always something that people are willing to let me share. My mom has also hinted that she'd love for me to be a PEO. I'm not nearly as social as she is though!

Hey, I'm from Columbia! Love your videos. Thanks for showing your processes. I'm considering starting an organizing business and narrowing down my niche. Since this profession seems to be dominated by females, how hard do you think it would be to establish myself as a male organizer in Howard and Montgomery Counties? This is what I've always done and love to do. Any insight would be appreciated. Looking forward to more videos!
Thanks! I don't think being male will affect you at all. I've known some male organizers over the years with businesses of varying success, just as I've known female organizers who both struggle and kill it. The world needs more professional organizers! I coach new organizers sometimes and my best advice would be to *constantly* be giving talks and workshops - for free if you have to. This kind of exposure is priceless. As for marketing advice, make a beeline to all things by Donald Miller: storybrand.com and businessmadesimple.com - the book, the podcast, the freebies, his paid offerings, etc. Start with the Story Brand channel here on CZcams. Also, see where the nearest NAPO chapter is for you. I'd recommend connecting with them as soon as possible. Hope that helps!
