Anyone else feel the satisfaction of watching these kind of videos? And the need 2 clean and reorganize ur things.
Im so happy to finally see a new way to use this shelf other than canvas bins. I like how with these suggestions you can subdivide, stack or even have lids.
To hide the cords under desk you can use 2 tension rods with heavy white material that has a pocket on the top and bottom for the rods to go through. Easily removed to acces the cords when needed.

First time seeing your channel. I immediately became a subscriber. I like the idea of putting the desk near the natural lighting in your space. Doing that, really gives you a boost in energy.
Long Lee the lighting helps especially if you’re on the computer a lot
Love this! I would consider putting your actual computer on the floor just under the desk, you likely need the desk space more than the leg room! :) it would also hide the cords better!

What an informative and pleasant to watch video you have presented. Your voice is soft and easy to hear, soft distant music adds to the calmness of your voice, and your hands are rarely visable ... Love your whole vibe here. Only thing that is my preference, is putting desktop on the floor under the desk. It’s blocking all that window space, the reason you picked that corner. Beautiful organization. I’ll be using some of these tips!

That's great on how you organized your home. I live in an apartment and don't have any room to do this. But, I do organize because of not having enough of room for everything.
Try putting a white board in front of the cords to hide them 😁. Plus I’m definitely a new subscriber, you have great ideas, a calming voice and are very real.

I think the computer box thingy would be so much better under the desk. It takes up so much desk space and not pretty..also it will hide the cord. Large paper basket under desk will cover the other cords.. just suggestions. X
Haha they’re not the most eye catching. I thought about putting it in a file box. I also thought about putting something under the desk to cover up the cords but at this point, I guess I just wanted them to be organized and untangled and out of the way, plus less leg room if I put anything under the desk. But thank you!

Tip: type all your labels in one stretch with just an extra space between each word/phrase. Then print. You simply snip them apart but use

The 26-inch high drawers would be too high. To be able to pull the drawers comfortably, you can only place 24-inch high drawers

i love your space nut may i ask why you decided to put the desktop computer on the desk
Thank you! It’s a personal preference I suppose. I prefer nothing on the floor for several reasons. One, dust collects more so on the floor and I find it easier for me to clean when something is right in my sight. Two, we have small children and we didn’t want them to get near the equipment. And three, we don’t think it takes up too much space on the desk especially because we don’t use this desk for anything but our computers. It’s long enough to hold a laptop on the side and the whole desktop setup on the other.

Love the style but why not put the computer tower on the floor? It is bulky & blocks part of the light from window. You may be able to find a small thing with wheels to put it on or something. Just an observation. Very good ideas...love that shelf unit and the drawer unit!
I guess I didn’t really think of putting something like that for the tower but looking at it now, I dont wanna add anything else to the bottom of the desk, we like the room and we have little ones, we don’t want them tampering with it. But thank you!

Hello, I would not say that my Kallax is high gloss by any means, but I guess I wouldn’t call it matt either. It’s just their plain white. But if those were the only 2 options they provide, then yes, I would say the one I have is matt.

I would put the PC on the floor under the desk. Less clutter, more work space and visual appearance.
Marty Conner I have gotten a lot of this advice and although this may work well, it did not work well for my family and I, with little kids around. Having the tower on top of the desk is not much of a clutter, it’s just one big box of tech. And sure, more work space can be applied, but it only takes about 7 inches off the 55 3/4 inch desk. As far as visual appearance, I guess you could say it would look more open without the PC tower on top, but it really pays us no mind. But thank you for your input ☺️
