How to dissolve/thicken Texapon N70 (SLES 70%)
SLES 70% can be dissolved with water and thickened with salt.
Raw materials in this video:
20g Texapon N70 (SLES 70%)
150g Tap water, let chlorine evaporate at least 24 hours
5g salt without iodine
This video just show you the viscosity of dissolved SLES created from adding salt. It's not the fixed formula. When you do your own liquid detergent ( laundry detergent, dishwashing liquid, shampoo, etc ), you can adjust to your prefer viscosity based on amount of salt and water.
Although salt is known as thickener, it must be added in the proper amount. If you add it too much (above the saturation point), the texture of liquid detergent will turn into liquid water (watery).
