How To Make 1kg SLES Liquid (SLES 25%) 2nd Method : Part2 Processing Method

This video will show you how to make SLES Liquid ( SLES 25% ) by diluting from SLES 70% ( Texapon N70 ), ( SLES comes from Sodium Lauryl Ether Sulfate or Sodium Laureth Sulfate ). This method is suitable when I want to make exact amount of SLES 25%. I don't know the exact amount 30% from water & other impurities in SLES 70%, so my method is just adding water to dissolve SLES 70% to get SLES liquid ( SLES 25% ).

I have to add 643g of distilled water to 357g of SLES 70%. After adding water and dissolving SLES 70%, I get 1kg ( 1,000g ) of SLES Liquid ( SLES 25% ) that contains :
25% 250g SLES
75% 750g Water & other impurities
In this video, I stir 357g of SLES 70% first, then put it into the container with lid, and follow with 643g of distilled water. Stirred SLES 70% will take shorter time to dissolve when compares with original SLES 70%. After stirring SLES 70%, it becomes like white whipping cream or foam that has more quantity with the same weight of 357g of SLES 70%. That why I use at least 1,200 ml of container. It's very convenient to shake and handle when using the container with lid but make sure adding another one layer of plastic sheet before cover the container to prevent leaking when shaking it. This method is very easy to dissolve SLES 70%, just " Stir it ", " Shake it " and " Wait " only. And I get 1kg of SLES liquid 25% within 10 days.
SLES Liquid ( SLES 25% ) can be used in shampoo, bubble bath liquid, hand wash, facial gel, shower cream, cleanser, including dishwashing liquid and laundry detergent. It can be used only one surfactant in the products or used together with other surfactants. It's more milder than SLES 70%. Normally I will dilute SLES 70% to get SLES liquid 25% before making other liquid products. It takes quite some time to let SLES 70% completely dissolve and become clear liquid, so I will make sure to have it on hand for making homemade liquid products anytime.
