What is Texapon N70? What is SLES?
Texapon N70 is SLES 70%. It's high active surfactant used in shampoo, liquid detergent and other cleansing products.
What is surfactant?
Surfactant comes from surface-active agent. It helps trap and remove dirt from the surface. There are 2 parts of surfactant, hydrophilic and hydrophobic. Hydrophilic part will capture water and hydrophobic will capture dirt, grease, oil that cannot be dissolved in water causing the dirt to come off and suspended in the water and be rinsed out.
Texapon N70 contains about 70% of the active ingredient SLES. And the other 30% is water and other impurities.
What is SLES?
SLES is Sodium Lauryl Ether Sulfate or Sodium Laureth Sulfate. It's anionic surfactant that has good cleaning and foaming properties. Although the names are similar to SLS (Sodium Lauryl Surfate), SLES is a mind cleaning agent and much less irritating. SLES also can create the lather that gives effective foaming agent.
