MEC 383 Leads L071 West into Golden Hour -1/30/24

On January 30, 2024, I was passing by Northern Maine Junction in Hermon when I noticed that L071 was at the Carhouse Crossover getting ready to head west with MEC 383 on point. After 7542 suffered a compressor failure upon returning from Mattawamkeag the previous night, L071 was forced to cap their train with the NM-1 power to make it the rest of the way to Waterville. In this day and age, it is always a treat when an EMD leads a road freight up here, and I decided to chase them west into the setting sun. With a modest train and some nice EMD sounds, it was a great way to end the day as I chased into blue hour. I hope you enjoy!
