In this episode of The Ranveer Show, we welcome Tilak Devasher, an author, and a retired Special Secretary, Cabinet Secretariat of the Government of India. He is currently serving as a National Security Advisory Board (NSAB) member and a consultant for Vivekanand International Foundation. He is the author of three widely known books based on Pakistan; ‘Pakistan: Courting the Abyss’ (December 2016), ‘Pakistan: At the Helm’ (July 2018), and ‘Pakistan: The Balochistan Conundrum’ (July 2019).
Today, Tilak Devasher decodes Pakistan’s current situation and also sheds light on what happened during the partition of India & Pakistan. He talks about the history of Pakistan, the real story behind the India & Pakistan Partitions, his honest opinion on present-day India, and what could have been different if the partition didn’t take place. He further dwells upon Muhammad Ali Jinnah and how he led to the partition. Along with that, Tilak sir talked about the present scenario of Pakistan and what is the situation of non-Muslims in Pakistan.
This was an in-depth conversation about the India and Pakistan partition and how it happened. We also talked about the geopolitical scenario of Pakistan. I hope you enjoy this episode as much as I did and tell us your opinions in the comments!

Turkish Nationalists did everything in their power to humiliate and belittle the Caliph. Within hours, the Imperial family was asked to leave Turkey. The passport issued to the deposed Khalifa referred to him simply as ‘Monsieur Abdul-Mejid file d’Abdul Aziz’ and
The dejected ex-Khalifa had to spend the rest of his life on a stipend from the Nizam of Hyderabad, donations from Indian Princes and magnates and funds from the Red Cross Society
Source: (The Khilafat Movement in India, 1919-1924, Muhammad Naeem Qureshi, dissertation submitted to University of London, 1973, pp.269-271, 276).
The British Foreign Minister Lord Curzon addressing the British Prime Minister shortly before the Second World War. He stated,
“We must put an end to anything which brings about any Islamic unity between the sons of the Muslims. As we have already succeeded in finishing off the Khilafah so we must endure that there will never arise again unity for the Muslims whether it be intellectual or cultural unity” (this means the unity on the viewpoint about life, something that affects daily affairs, namely the social, economic, education and ruling systems of Islam).
      Lord Curzon
Effectively, by 1924 the Ottoman Empire was over. In his famous quote Curzon pronounced the following:
“The situation now is that Turkey is dead and will never rise again because we have destroyed its moral strength, the Khilafah and Islam.” (The Khilafah Osmania)

I am a MEHSOOD from the tribes of SOUTH WAZIRISTAN, I love my traditions, my culture and the values that my people hold. But Unfortunately much of our culture has been destroyed and distorted. We were not allowed to step foot in our own lands for 10 to 14 years and became refugies in our own country(Pakistan) that we are part of. Our people have been deprived of education and it is only now that most of us are reaching to the education which is our right. "Right", Up until the day we merged with KPK, our rights were way different then our fellow Pakistanis and even if I told them they won't believe me. But after all that, wounds are healing and everything's coming back. I am happy and thankful that i had education. But my rich culture and the traditions that I saw and heard about from my grandfathers and grandmothers are no where to be seen. Only fractions and broken pieces is all that remains.

What Mr. Tilak says about the pashtunvali or thirst for revenge among the Pashtun traditions post 6:00 is very similar to what you see in many places in India as well. Especially, it is or at least was common in Tamil nadu. There has been movies made on such stories or storylines set in such settings. Even the "not being able to refuse refuge to an enemy and not killing him inside your home but waiting for him to step outside your home to kill him" is also a common thing which was culture among many castes in tamil nadu. There was even a movie in Tamil based on this concept.

Tribal people who live in hardy atmospheres like deserts, mountainous terrain, glaciers, and tundra as opposed to people who live in plains, valleys and meadows are built differently and they end up carving and developing this very rugged life and have this unuttered code of conduct they live by. Tribal Arabs also had similar codes of conduct where they would go to the earths end to exact revenge or to give shelter to a sworn enemy etc.

2: in 1979 Afghanistan was attacked by USSR and Afghanistan Liberal government was helping USSR but some people stood against it and pakistan helped them against USSR as it was pakistans religious duty and engage USSR in Afghanistan and stop them from entering Pakistan for hot water. The Durand line was created by Maharaja Ranjit Singh during the Sikh empire data. The British changed the name of the border to “Durang Line” in an attempt to ensure the Sikh empire name can be forgotten. So the area South if the Ranjit Line was captured by his army and the northern part of that line was Afghanistan - modern day Afghanistan demarcation.

Afghans have been subjected to indiscriminate violence for the last 200 years perpetrated by the British Raj, USSR and USA but none of these superpowers were able to extinguish the free spirit nor erase the ethos of the Afghan people, be they Pashtun, Tajik, Turkmen, Uzbek, Hazara and other minorities. All Afghans fought for their motherland with equal vigor and lost countless lives in the process. Afghanistan and Iran are the only two countries in the region distinguished for resisting colonialism. We are not claiming to be a superior martial race compared to others in the neighborhood. Orientalist writers who are and were mostly British wrote these fabricated books to sow divisions among the people of the region to serve their colonial interests. Afghans fought to defend and protect their motherland from the evil white man and their brown partners and will continue to do so, as long as an Afghan has an ounce of life in him. One love! ❤🇦🇫🇮🇳🇮🇷🇱🇰🇧🇩🇵🇰 The human race is one big family. Spread love not war.

President Hafiz Amin killed by Soviets commando Operation 333 at Tajbeg Palace kabul on 27 December 1979 .
During the years 1978 and 1979, Afghanistan faced challenging circumstances as the Soviet army occupied the country, leading to the start of a war .Does Pakistan killed Afghan leaders ?
Subsequently, millions of Afghan citizens migrated to Pakistan. However, it is worth noting that illiterate Afghans directed disrespectful behavior towards Pakistan.
Previous Afghan administrations initiated a proxy conflict against Pakistan in 1947 utilizing financial support from India. Subsequently, the Afghan military instigated assaults on the Bajour region in 1960 and 1961.
