In this episode of The Ranveer Show, we welcome Tilak Devasher, an author, and a retired Special Secretary, Cabinet Secretariat of the Government of India. He is currently serving as a National Security Advisory Board (NSAB) member and a consultant for Vivekanand International Foundation. He is the author of three widely known books based on Pakistan; ‘Pakistan: Courting the Abyss’ (December 2016), ‘Pakistan: At the Helm’ (July 2018), and ‘Pakistan: The Balochistan Conundrum’ (July 2019).

He talks about the history of Pakistan, the real story behind the India & Pakistan Partitions, his honest opinion on present-day India, and what could have been different if the partition didn’t take place. He further dwells upon Muhammad Ali Jinnah and how he led to the partition. This was an in-depth conversation about the India and Pakistan partition and how it happened. We also talked about the geopolitical scenario of Pakistan. I hope you enjoy this episode as much as I did and tell us your opinions in the comments!

Ranveer I have a content idea for you Please bring international youtubers once in a while like ksi, W2S and the sidemen they could be really inspiring for people and don't think that you wouldn't get views because the sidemen ksi and W2S have a very big fanbase like W2S has stopped doing CZcams but still his channel gets views you can also do Logan Paul and Jake Paul (That may become controversial maybe) and you can also bring pewdiepie or Mrbeast 😁. Technically, podcasts aren't even about telling what is a lie or a truth, it's just about discussing different things and opinions about everything. So, he did his job well. His job was to just put the opinion of the person in front of everyone, whether the opinion is good or bad, it's not his problem. And, especially in a country like India, you need to be diplomatic. Podcast is about the guest. If you like the guest, then watch the episode and if not, don't watch the episode.

My ancestros were from Quetta and Sindh (Hyderabad). I remember my grandmother had told me so many anecdotes from those days. My family had to sell their ancestral house in cheap price to come to India n settle here but there were many people who left their house keys with neighbours. thinking they would come back as soon as the 'things' calm down and settle back in their space.

Thanks Ranveer. This was a gem of a podcast. Many tracks were opened within a short span. I would love to see Tilakji on your show with more of history and geopolitical snippets. Good luck.

After Smita prakash @ani. I was curious to see tilak devasher giving more insights. It feels so real, no biases. He openly accepts when he doesnt have knowledge. Ppl like tilak sir are the kind who need more attention in society
