Son of a Dungeon 2 drops in two weeks! Who’s hyped?
You should react to the special effects in the TV show "The Chosen"!!!
You're trailer was so cool!!!
Very dramatic! Love the magic effects!
season 2 Son of a Dungeon eh? does that mean us lowly poor folk get to finally see the entirety of *Season 1 free on CZcams?* i mean, with ads of course. but pleeeeeeease make that a reality, things like this are the only reason i hate not having a bank account. if i could pay the corridor subscription using google wallet cards i would. lol. no seriously though, season 1 on the tue of you? pweeeeese?
why do all the replys have nothing to do with what he actually sad in the comment
So Donnie Yen and that little kid first fought together in 1995, then reunited for Ip Man years later. That's dope.
And the kid grew up...and Donnie stayed eternal.
15 Years Later*
Ashton Chen.. You can look his movies when he's young.. Dope kid
@@K__a__M__I I hear when Donnie pays a stuntman to get hit really hard by him for his movies, he's actually stealing their life force and is how he stays forever young
Ikr
Imagine being The Rock's cousin thinking you were just going to drive him around for awhile during The Scorpion King and then suddenly you're his stunt double for every film he does after that.
Prep meets opportunity
Tbh they didnt for know they were cousins back then they just had some people in the family with the same names but beside that it was only later that they found out they were cousins
Even crazier
@@plodeycake4248 for know ?
@@plodeycake4248 They're Samoan. They're all cousins.
If Jackie actually gets on it’s gonna be a 2+ hour Corridor special 😆
4 PART SERIES 2HRS EACH!
That you have to pay for on a website you'll never actually go to
Jackie comes and we have like full episode with no cuts, I'm buying a subscription with no questions
@@squidge903 I'll be honest, I *hate* when channels put the best stuff behind a paywall. I *never* pay up, on principle. I'd break that to watch a 2 hour Jackie special. I'd pay, look around, catch a few other things, and never renew the subscription.
With a half hour son of a dungeon trailer
"Just do this" *jumps off cliff*
😂 This man is a treasure
People at the top of their game are often the coolest. Andy personifies that. This was cool.
Nothing to prove I wager.
That's because they don't have time to engage in nonsense.
And what a cool it was.
Yes Mr Alpha Male
Can you imagine going on set as a stunt double and expecting to be a part of one of Andy's beautiful, choreographed fight scenes, and instead, he's just like, "Okay, I need you to jump out of this car as it's flying off this mountain. Aim for the bushes. You'll be fine!" 😆
true detection
Aim for the bushes, lmfao. Pretty much. Great reference. Works on multiple levels in this context 🤣
@@itsd0nk Haha glad you got that! 🎶 There goes my hero 🎶
I absolutely loved the Rundown! I remember while seeing it thinking, "damn, the Rock is an absolutely enthralling actor, and charismatic as hell". He had a different energy. It wasn't just a "wrestler in a movie", but he actually gave a damn about having some semblance of an acting performance, especially in scenes that revolved around his "no guns" rule.
Darn, that shot of Jackie at the top of the building at 14:33 induce such a dread feeling of vertigo, that it perfectly frames the action scene. And it's just a second.
Also, the way he falls in his feet, followed by that stammer/stumble... perfect.
I've seen that movie dozens kf times, the scene on CZcams even more so... and that initial cut still makes my stomach drop.
Petition to have Jackie Chan on!
That would be a HUGE get 🤞🏽
Somebody pin that comment!! 📌
Upvote so they see it
I don't think it's got anything to do with them not wanting him on 🙄
They would LOVE to have him on and have no doubt contacted him in the past.
They would *love* to have Jackie Chan on. It's just easier said than done.
I'm so glade to see them reacting to scorpion kings stunts instead of the horrible cgi
Yeah cuz they already roasted the CG multiple times in multiple videos lol
@@ChineduOpara True, but they weren't overly mean about it like other things I've seen. They even had the guy responsible for some of the shots from that move on this channel to talk about it.
To be fair they're talking about a separate movie in this case
Are there two different scorpion king movies? Because the one I saw with the girl never had that CGI scorpion the Rock? Am I misremembering something?
@@Karma-pq9fi The movie with the bad CGI Dwayne Johnson is The Mummy Reutrns. :)
It's an honest mistake considering how similar the two are.
Steven Ho needs to be on. He was on Conan a lot and was always a good guest. He'd be great for the stunt episodes
Yesss, great call! Those segments with Conan are top tier.
Gui with the berserk shirt much respect for that one.
Andy is one of my favourite guests. Love his insights and awesome stories
I just love how sweet & humble Andy is. He's literally a god in the industry & is just so down to Earth & cool.
You often hear people say that Donnie Yen is/was fast, but it really means something coming from Andy Chang. Thanks for another great video folks
Imagine having Tanoi Reed in Stuntmen react! He could give such awesome insights and experiences with his unique entry into the scene.
One of my all time favorite action movies has been and always will be the rundown. My dad showed it to me when I was younger and we would watch it every couple months atleast. Maybe more. The fight choreography is insane and deserved the award it recieved for the stunts, holds strong to this day.. even tho he's not with me anymore I still watch it fairly often and think of all the times we had and broke it down together :)
Really cool that you guys had Andy Chang (from Hong Kong) on. Lots of knowledge he possess and seemed happy to share it and pass it on.
The Rundown is one of the best action comedies ever imo. Perfect summer popcorn flick. I also absolutely love The Scorpion King.
Jackie and his crew are all legends
And another legend joins your now incredible list of guests!
And yeah, RUNDOWN was a phenomenal movie! Maybe my favorite Dwane “Rock” Johnson movie!!
Corridor bring in all the legends
yeah people overlooked the movie and dismissed it because it wasn't trying to be more than what it was, so apparently that means it's a "low quality movie". in reality, those people that focus only on oscar bait writing, fail to miss all of the other magic that can be done with stunts and choreography.
Can't believe we're on episode 34!!!
Love seeing how pumped you guys are to share the couch with Andy. Good stuff gentlemen.
I'm glad they went deeper into the rundown, even as a kid I knew the stunts were fucking mezmering. Great episode!
I think GUI should have a run at the Tom Cruise Olympics
agreed!
Facts
Instead of Mythbusting, it’s Stuntbusting?
Andy is definitely one of the best guests on so far 🙏🙌
Also Gui as a host is just pure joy.
I love Andy, his stuff is so great. I feel like they could do a 2 hour react episode with him and it would be so good.
I really want any excuse for Everything Everywhere All At Once to end up on the channel. I don't care which reacts show it shows up on. Really, the best thing might be to do like a double-length special to have both sets of reacts show hosts review it in all of its majesty.
Yes! This!
I know this has been said before but I love how Gui is just one of the guys on the couch now!
And of course it's always great to see Clint around!
I just love the energy these videos give off. No judgement, nothing. Just pure vibes with friends having fun it's awesome
I know this is stuntman react, but for VFX react you guys need to do The Suicide Squad, specifically Harleys escape sequence, the Rain walk/fight, and the Starro battle. I know you guys did the Peacemaker helmet scene but there so much more to do with that movie.
Just do a James Gunn special honestly
I am here for this. Yes.
Take a look at the movie Waterloo from 1970. They have literally hundreds (maybe even thousands) of people recreating the battle and its such chaos and scale to it. How does one even coordinate all that.
Plus the hundreds of people on horse back for calvary charges is amazing. And it was all done practically, i think
I think they already did, thats where I learned that the actual extras were routed.
They usually hire reenacting clubs
Rundown is top 3 Rock movies. Scorpion King is one of those rare movies that gets better as it goes along.
Yeah, Rundown was really good... holy hell I just looked it up and it came out in 2003. I would've sworn it came out in 2010 or something. Christopher Walken was awesome in that as well.
The Rundown is honestly one of my favorite summer action movies. Doesn't have groundbreaking story or Oscar worthy acting, but it is very very good.
I feel like the story was one of the positives. But I kind of see what you are saying. It's not story telling on the level of the best stories out there.
Honestly, he peaked with the Rundown. Even though he made more money after, most of the movies he did were pretty dull, the same thing over and over.
Von Ryan's Express was on the TV the other weekend and I was absolutely riveted to an incredible practical effects scene involving a multiple person escape from UNDER A MOVING TRAIN and then the stakes are raised even higher when you think it's over! It's absolutely amazing, and I can't believe they allowed it to happen even in 1965. SERIOUSLY brave work. Definitely worth a watch if only for the reaction to that incredible, literally death-defying scene.
I love it so much we get to hear Andy Cheng's experience and stories! This series "Stuntmen React" has been so dam informative and eye opening to the amount of work stunt teams actually put in to their complex and difficult work, and hearing the crazy stuff and how things actually work/worked is amazing. To see and hear the contrast of stunts from 80's to now is nuts! AND I LOVE IT!
It's amazing how only now GCI has gotten so good that it can be timeless going forward, but practical... Man, practical VFX has been timeless for a long time already when done well.
Gui again showing he has great taste with another Berserk shirt. 👌
I love how I know every single movie they featured but 1. The 4 year old kid movie is the only one I haven't seen or heard about. It's awesome seeing the connection of stunts from different movies and how they relate.
i love the stories that come out of these videos. these stuntmen and CGI artists are some very cool people
I like how Andy had to clarify China since big brother is probably watching....lol
I was sad when I heard him add that, but I also understand.
hong kong is not a colony of the british empire anymore and the people who live there want you morons to understand that
@@altaris2000 Why the fuck are you sad, Hong Kong is literally part of China.
Thank you guys for all of your hard work and creativity
This show is my favorite; I love seeing the stunt breakdowns!
"Ravenous" (1999) has one of the best cliff-jump stunts. Definitely would like to see a break down on it.
I love how less and less of the Corridor crew is on the couch everytime... I bet one episode everyone will just be a stunt double or someone who has worked on the clip they are reviewing
The crew is so busy shooting Son of a Dungeon!
Well technically Clint doesn’t work for Corridor anymore, so it’s a whole cast of guest stars.
oh no non of the corridor vfx crew is on the show stuntmen react if only there would be a show about vfx artists reacting with people from the corridor vfx crew
its getting like the mcu
they get all the legends and guests
I WANNA SEE JET LI'S FEARLESS!!! THAT AWESOME FIGHT SCENE IN THE RESTAURANT!!!!
And talk about how it's like the climactic battle, but in the middle of the dang movie, and the story of his friend who has to pay for the damages, and... just the sheer number of props used, and the amazing choreo and...
🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘 I am so proud and happy to be able to work with Andy Cheng on our upcoming Project NRCity....
It’s crazy that no one in this episode actually works for corridor 😂. Love the show
Would still love to see reactions to:
Chocolate (2008) specifically the fight at the end on the side of the building.
Project A (1983) dude falling off a balcony and crashing through a vase and landing straight on his head
Winner & Sinners (1983) dude getting kicked through a window and landing straight on his head.
Y’all are awesome!!
So happy to see Andy Cheng back on the couch! Thank you!!
Loved how they covered more of The Rundown! One of my favorite action movies!!
The Rundown still holds up really well as western example of an action comedy. Maybe the best The Rock vs a jungle movies.
Gui as a regular, hell yea
‘What?!’
‘Decompression, bro.’
Love it!
Another great episode.:) 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
I would LOVE to see you guys react to more stunt driving. Chases, jumps, the making of the cars, etc. I really wanna see how some iconic car chases were made
Same
Andy Cheng is amazing. Keep bringing him on!!
Wow! I love that you feature those amazing people! Wow! I am in awe how genuine and humble this man is!
I always wanted this welcome to Jungle breakdown!.. So much precision and rehearsals🙏🏼
The Rundown is such an underrated film. Awesome stunts and awesome cinematography. Cool story too.
Love the self correction from Hong Kong to China by Andy. He's all about that PRC life hey?
Would love to see an episode or animators react feature some scenes from Star Wars the Clone Wars and Bad Batch. Comparing them would be cool. I am rewatching through BB and I'm consistently impressed.
Andy Chen is such A FANTASTIC guest!!! Also Son of Dungeon season 2 looks ridiculously AWESOME!!! 👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾
It's awesome how Andy was responsible for all these great movie moments just by being himself
Would love to see you guys review the fan film “Batman: Dead End” not only the choreography and filming of it but the special effects as well. I remember growing up hearing tales of this film being shown at comic cons with ppl lining up to experience it over and over again back in the day.
Started watching when I was 14... Now I am 18
I've always loved good stunts, but this series has given me a new appreciation for stuntwork that is 1000 times greater than what I already had.
incredible insight for incredible stunts and performances in iconic films...
I love Andy Cheng.
Tanoai Reed (@samoanstuntman) is a beast.
Ernie Reyes Jr. is always entertaining to watch. Can you guys get him on the couch?
Can you guys react to the scene from Lone Survivor when all 4 of them are falling down the mountain? That one looks especially painful.
Love the show always great to have Gui and the special guest on the couch. You guys should check out the movie Day Shift. Even has Scott Adkins in it for a bit! Most nimble Vampires I've ever seen!
Check out their Punch 4 Punch episode on Still Watching Netflix, where Gui learns to be a stunt driver and they try and replicate a scene from Day Shift!
love that movie
Day Shift was a terrible movie with a Scott Adkins showreel in the middle of it.
These are always so much fun to watch. I would love to see you guys react to some of the fight scenes from Everything Everywhere All At Once.
So stoked they reviewed the rundown! Classic!
You guys should do a VFX react to old and new Indian TV commercials
😂😂😂 yes
im trying to read his tattoo 5:49 the first word is weird seems like it says Vine Eviluthior. Is that what you see as well? dafuq does that mean?
Petition to have Buttered Side Down on!
That scene in the rundown of them falling down the hill is one of my all time favorites
literally someone who i grew up watching .
this was amazing
Finally. After years of debate on the internet, we know that jackie DID use a wire for the building jump in 'who am i ?'
In this episode: no-one who's employed by corridor
Man, The Rundown deserves its own episode.
When i saw the fall scene for the first time, i thought it's the best stunt in film. Even today, i think is absolutely nuts. And the fight coreography is insane.
Congrats for the award! Totally deserved it,
I know I say it every video you upload , but jeez I love these videos . A real treat to watch
I can appreciate that Sponsor's are neccessarcy but I just want to thank Jake, each time he makes it entertaining enough to watch. Even when offering the same product, each time he does something different. So shout out to Jake, your a talented showman and I appreciate that
Jake is probably the #1 reason I skip them.
Thank you Theo! - Jake
Have you covered any of the fights in the High&Low films yet? The camera movement during the first big fight in High&Low: The Worst is possibly the best I've ever seen.
Absolutely loved this episode!
What an absolute legendary moment and a legend you guys gave us.. Thank Corridor for great content gain and again.. God Bless
You guys have to looks at the visual effects in Hardcore Henry. Idk if you’ve done it yet, but I don’t think so.
I agree!
What up Crew!
Graphical User Interface, Andy, and Clint are on the couch today!
Rock's cousin going from a driver to a stunt double is just hilarious and what luck, crazy! The Rundown is an insane movie, what a blast! Another lovely episode.
real life ragdoll physics!!!!
Guys. Please react to the stuntman getting clipped by the semi truck in AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2. The rhino is driving down an alleyway and the stuntman is, I think, too late
That movie never happened. It was a collective fever dream
“Decompression bro”
As a guy gets absolutely folded in the background
The detail about the rocks stunt double and the reshoots for Scorpion king made me happy
you should take a look at 2018s OVERLORD
Did he add China after Hong Kong (he said Hong Kong, China) so he can keep working in Chinese movies? 🤔
This is by far my movie show to watch. Great guest this episode 🔥🔥🔥🔥🤙🏻
Andy is responsible for -millions- no, _billions_ of people being entertained, but gets a tenth of the credit. Thanks for spotlighting the man Guys.
Andy had caught himself expertly after saying he was from Hong Kong "pause.." china! No social credit loss for you Andy!
Lol, initially, I though finally there is place ppl can focus on the story.
But, here you come. Why his single word just become that an issue.
@@willqin4628 If you need it explaining to you, you're a lost cause. No one can be that ignorant and/or stupid. Or both. But here we are.
Wait, they show an amazing stun in The Rundown movie, but dont tell the name of the stunman behind who did the double of The Rock?? his name is Marko Zaror is a Chilean stunman and actor, he made the first Martial Art movie in Chile named "Kiltro"
SR series is what I look forward to most, every week.
Rundown is so underrated. It is AMAZING.
