I feel like everyone who participates in Halloween was making up for the past 2 years that we couldn't really celebrate it and went extra this year. I love seeing that!
As much as New York makes Casey, Casey ALSO makes New York. It's so electric to watch Casey's love affair with the city! He is the biggest celebrity there is in New York. He's ACTUALLY approachable and even encourages approaching him through showing strangers in his videos. It's just such an honor to be able to partake.
Guess I never thought about it, but did not know NYC got down like that for Halloween. It's nice to see the validation of your move back as being the right one. Based off that kind of recognition response from many in the city, clearly, you are in your element and easy to see just how much the city means to you.

Casey only loves it so much because money isn't an issue for him. so glad i got out of that shithole.

I moved out of NYC this past year, after 40 years there. I always enjoyed Casey's videos when I lived there. Watching them now--now that he has returned--and it is so much more touching and powerful to see these streets, all so deeply familiar to me. I worked just two blocks from Casey's studio, so his shots in Tribeca particularly bring up my nostalgia for the greatest city in the world! I can at least live in NYC again by proxy by following Casey's vlogs.
