the sookie stackhouse books are so awsome as the show is too love them both even though they dont really follow the same cant complain they are both great in their way still want eric with sookie in both cant wait for the next book and for next episode ; )

@alyce310 , Thank you!! I was ready to go ballistic and read the riot act. Charlaine, herself, said it "they're two different entertainment" entities. I guess some people just don't pay attention. If people don't like how Alan Ball chooses to tell the story, then don't watch it. A few million people (more) this season have decided it's worth watching. I've read every single damn book, some better than others, liked them, but absolutely love the series.

I started reading the book because i loved eric and sookie and i wanted to know whether anything was going to happen between them.... now i will be gutted if they don't! :(

@1college07 I watch because I like to see my favorite characters come to life, whether or not I know what's going to happen. Besides, its obvious by the chemistry between them that Eric and Sookie are going to end up together. Look at the way he looks at her.

@SnickersNoo44 You can say that again! The show is much better... or let's just say different. Even the characters are different. Bill is much better for Sookie in the show, he's her soulmate, whereas it's Eric in the books.
Anna and Stephan are the prime example of how on/off scene couples should go about things. they're game for anything and don't mind when they're apart, because the show isn't about them, it's about their characters and on the show... Bill got some major crapola to work out.

@TheLbg921 I got to meet Charlaine Harris the Anne Rice Ball in New Orleans, when I asked how she felt about the changes in the series, she said Alan Ball doesn't tell her how to write her books, she doesn't tell him how to write the show. I love both versions. The only things I'm disappointed in are Erics short hair and sleezy preppy boy look and Sookie not being as busty as she is in the book..though otherwise she is perfect. I'm glad Lafayette got to stay alive.
And now Anna and Stephen are married...I don't care if Sookie and Eric get together, Anna goes home with Stephen...ready for Season 4.

Turns your stomach? Bit much. You couldn't even view it within the context of the drama playing out? I imagine if one of the vampires was going down on Ann Coulter, that would've been difficult to watch, but I still would've been interested as to how it affected the story.
