Am I the only one who is impressed by his table?
If it would be MY table you should be ;)
This was shot at my 9-to-5 job though as I wouldn't have the space I needed at home :)
That is a nice table
@@Tcustomsit for sure is :) this is at my job though.. nobody has such an enormous table at home I think :)
Thank u very much! U've helped me build this monster up and let me print my first mini buddha statue :D
No worries & well done then! Welcome to 3D printing ;)
Thank you so much for such a clear, concise, easy to understand video! I just assembled my 3 Max today and although the build instructions were simple, the leveling seemed intimidating and unclear. Your video helped me tremendously!
well that IS what the video is for! :D Glad it helped you out! :D
Thanks for this very helpful and clear video. I just got this printer as my first printer and you made my day much easier.
Welcome to the 3D printing world then Tom & glad the video helped you out!
Happy printing :D
Fantastic looking printer indeed, dude! 😃
Thanks for all the steps!
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
Thanks as always brother! Sooo yeah I guess I can recommend these printers.. I'm looking forward to trying one of their resin prinsters :)
Cheers and have a good week over there!
I like the new update to bed leveling!
Yes! That's a nice bit of software somebody wrote :)
I couldn’t have set mine up with out you.. thank you
Welllll thanks ofcourse! But don't underestimate yourself.. I'm sure you would have figured it out :)
Okey dokey, nice clear bed level setup, Thanks.
Thank You as well Linda :)
Looks easy to set up! First print was pretty nice looking. Hatchikide!
Hatchikide indeed! :D I've seen far worse first-prints :D
did you know the brand by the way? I had seen them pass by a few times but never really noticed them
@@DutchRC I've been looking for my first 3D printer recently - and Elegoo was in the running - but it was for a resin printer......😁
@@sunsetpark_fpv okee AND what printer did you pick?? :D
@@DutchRC I'm pretty sure my first 3D printer will be the Ender 3 Pro - it seems a good choice for beginners, and I like that I can learn by printing upgrades for it :)
@@sunsetpark_fpv I think that Ender3 (pro) makes for a great first printer :) I had the original Ender3 and though not high tech it gets the job done :)
This was very helpful. Thank you!
Thank you :) Glad the video helped you out!
Any idea why my STL models won't be read by the printer? I can't seem to find out, even after I've placed them in the correct directory with the buddha model.
Does the file (name) show when selecting the model to be printed? The first thing that comes to mind is the file-name (to long? spaces in the name?).. is maybe the STL part in capitals where the printer might not expect that..
@@DutchRC I managed to fix it, but now none of my models (even the buddha) will print properly. It will work for the first 3-10%, and then it just shits out a wirey mess and drags the remainders around before shitting out some more extruded filament.
@@ArandomHitman So what exactly happens? Do the first layers brake free from the printing-surface (then the print-head is probably to far above the print-place)..
Or do the layers seperate?
These kinds of start-up challenges are common in 3D-printing-land I will say.. but you will be able to find fixes for most any kind of problem
@@DutchRC Lets say im printing the buddha model. It prints the base first (so like 5-10% of the model) and then some filament gets stuck on the nozzle and the buddha remains are pushed aside after breaking free. It then starts repeating this process until it slowly starts crapping out filament in stringy patterns.
This is great. Many thanks!
Thank you as well again! :)
I keeo getting proving failed and a huge gap when it levels the bed
Hmmm that is unfortunate.. Regretably I didn't run into any problem, so I can't really offer pointers..
Maybe try to contact Elefoo or their facebook page?
Hey man! Do you know why my nozzle is moving down super slow?
Hi there :) soooo at what point is it slow to move down? At the start of a print?
That might point to a wrong printer-setup in your slicer
Great video,Thanks
Glad you liked the video!
Obrigado pelo vídeo! Ajustei a mesa de impressão da minha impressora. As peças estavam ficando muito ruins por causa da mesa que não estava ajustada.
You are welcome :)
Not completely sure what you ment! Your printer is doing well?
Ficou boa depois que assisti o seu vídeo e regulei a mesa de impressão. Tenho 3 impressoras. Duas Neptune 3 max e uma Shappire Plus@@DutchRC
When self leveling it went the whole way to the edge on the right side. On the left it was short of the edge which looked like over an inch. When it centered itself in the end it also looks off center. This can't be right? Did you figure this out?
I'm not sure but I suspect the reason is the sensor isn't in the Middle of the print-head assembly?
To be honnest I didn't notice.. I guess I would have if there was a print "issue"
My printer is brand new and wont read the sd card. Why?? Even when i put it in my pc it wont read. What can be the issue?
have you tried a different memory-card? The cards that come with printers are notoriously low-budget.. That's would be my first suspect
you rock ty!
haha ;) thank You!
You're kind of missing the point of the magnetic flexible plate. Fold it up slightly and the print will be released.
I think that goes without saying as that indeed IS the point of them
where did you get it on the official page it has already been sold out for several months
I ordered mine from their official site right before the CNY so it did take a while.. but as you can see it arrived.
It the time it wasn't listed as sold out though and now it indeed is
@@DutchRC but it's already been sold out for months, I've been trying to buy it since January and its official website is sold out
@@CarlosFlores-wn1xt I haven't kept track.. I kinda only noticed they were out of stock when another viewer told me..
BUT I can't imagine there won't be a next batch in soon.. otherwise I wouldn't know what their businessmodel would be 🙃
@@DutchRC OK thanks
@Carlos2014 Flores get on the wait list and be notified when they have some in stock then order immediately. That's what I did.
Dude should be using a feeler gauge not a piece of paper to "tram" the bed
The printer does the final / fine adjustment itself.. paper works like a charm
Great video! This printer really has a terrible leveling process imo. I actually still don't quite understand it. So first you are supposed to do the manual level with paper. Then it will heat up and do the leveling points. When it has done that, it starts speaking about the paper process again? Like what the hell? And there is no live z adjust. Terrible software...
I didn't really run into that myself.. having said that there is probably somthing lost in translation... which is often the case with ehm.. "chinglish" user interfaces :)
Mine did not revert to the manual leveling after the auto fine-leveling
