Dual-Gear Direct Extruder
The new dual-gear direct extruder with a better grip on the filament and strong pushing force for smoother filament feeding and more stable & accurate printing, which greatly reduces the risk of nozzle blockage and under extrusion, and printing well with PLA, ABS, PETG and even flexible filaments like TPU.
Larger Print Volume
The larger-than-average build volume of 320x320x400mm/12.59 x 12.59 x 15.74 inches gives you enough space to freely arrange your prints, print larger models, or carry out batch printing with high efficiency.
Auto Bed Leveling
ELEGOO Neptune 3 Plus adopts a non-contact high precision sensor to collect the deviation data at 49 (7x7) points of the hotbed, and then automatically adjust the Z-axis height to compensate for any irregularities and unevenness of the printing bed. There are also hand-twisting knobs underneath the hotbed to fine-turn the print bed with a single twist, thus ensuring a perfect first layer print.
PEI Magnetic Platform
PEI magnetic platform with special coating and spring steel sheet for good adhesion and anti-warping, just gently bend the print steel plate to release or pop off the prints. The 420W high-power hotbed can quickly heat up to 100°C.
Z-axis Dual Lead Screw
The dual synchronized lead screws and dual-motor drive make the Z-axis movement more stable and smooth, avoid printing deviation driven by a single Z-axis lead screw motor, and improve printing accuracy and stability. With STM 32-bit motherboard, the X/Y/Z/E axes are all driven by silent drivers to effectively reduce the printing noise to below 50dB.
Removable Capacitive Touchscreen
The 4.3-inch removable capacitive touch screen can be operated by hand-held or fixed on the base. Built-in print model preview function to preview the model image before printing, and observe the printing progress by previewing the real-time comparison image of the printed model.

This is hands down the most solid video on this printer and program. At first I was like Wtf, but this hobby is kind of hard to get into. I’ve watched just about every video you can find on the software and printer and no one was more detailed than this. Props bruv

To level anything, only use 3 points, 2 on the back, 1 on the front. Or opposite sides. In a triangle. Level the 2 first, then the one opposite to match the two. Once it's level in a case like this, just snug up the rest to support it level. Any other way will take much longer.

@ 12:10: the wire should be parallel to the arm for the spool to prevent cable kink. This will also center the spool and weight of the upper gantry.

Great video. I'm new to fdm printing and I just got the Plus. I've almost finished the test filament that comes with the printer, and I wanted to know how to unload the filament and put in a new one. On some videos I've seen, on different printers, they do it manually, extruding some filament and then pulling it out quickly. Do I have to do it with the Plus too or can I use the function you show at 34:10? Thank you

I had to return my 3pro today . It kept having issues and over the weekend the screen locked up again and this time I couldn't get it to unlock no mater what I did . Unfortunately they didnt have anymore for an exchange so I had to accept a refund instead . When it printed the prints were nice in my opinion , but I dont know enough to get the machine to respond and get the touch pad working again . I like the look of this printer and when I try again I think I my upgrade to this machine .

can the Neptune 3 Pro use almost all the filaments (PLA for example) or are there many limitations regarding materials, due to the fact that it cannot print with a very high temperature?

I followed your video to the t, and when I try to level it, the nozzle is too far away from the build plate. I turned the wheels all the way where they were loose, and it still won't get close to the nozzle. Any suggestions
it doesn't show you on the LCD how much time untill the print it's done?
21:02 I have a free wheeling tram wheel on both sides of the x gantry, on the left side its the top wheel and on the right side its the bottom wheel. Should I be concerned as no amount of spinning the left and right eccentric nuts changes anything?
Anyone knows if you can swap the power cable for a longer one, and if so, what details should I check before I burn down my house.... If this is not possible any special extension cords which are save enough to cover some distance? Usually I would avoid using extension cords for such devices but I can't seem to find clues on the internet....

Please tell what actual MCU are on boards, it's single most important thing now. Almost everyone use close-but-not-clones of STM32 which are unsupported in vanilla Marlin. I can see this one is actual ST but not in every video it's visible.
Great videos, i always watch twice before buying one, but i have a question. So for thé first file it gives you thé preview image, but when printing any other file it doesn't give any image, i tried thé JPEG script in Cura but doesn't work, Anyone having thé same problem and know how to fix it?

The biggest disadvantage of this type of design is combining the bed with the Y-axis. The bed including the print object is really heavy. This makes the Y axis always bed! With this size and price, the CoreXY is much better!
How did you installed on mac? I have a m1 macbook but when I open it says disco image is damaged so I can't install it. Please help me

My offset is -2.56 is that right? The back left adjuster hasnt got the same springs for some reason
When you compress the bed springs to half way, do you put an actual level on the bed to verify it’s level in all directions prior to the auto bed leveling?
Late post lol. But I'd assume no because you're not looking for level to floor, but level to nozzle.

awesome review! just got my plus in yesterday, was wondering if you switched the voltage from 230v to 115v as suggested on the screen protector? i could not for the life of me find that switch and was wondering if you have done it on yours...
The printer voltage is preset to your delivery address. If you need to switch it, the bottom cover will need to be removed and the power supply can be switched.

I am currently setting up my Neptune 3 plus and when I first turned it on after assembling it I pressed home and the nozzle went into the bed and left an indent, I tried leveling it but anytime I press home it will again sink into the build plate and burn a hole, has anyone had this problem?
I’ll buy this off you. I really want one, but they are on back order. I’m serious. What do you say?

If the filament is stuck, preheat the nozzle and it will come out easily

@@mitchelbenjaminsr1587 Yes, you can leave it in the print head and turn the machine off but for longer storage its a good idea to put the roll in a sealed bag to protect it from moisture.
I can't install Elegoo Cura or add the printers to normal Cura

Why don’t they have the extruder motor flipped and closer to the rail? I’d bet it would be better for weight distribution no?
Or make an in line version of direct drive so there is less outward weight and it’s more stacked on top of the nozzle
I put in everything just as you did and these prints are coming off awful like it’s running to fast or something, I tried running the Budda 3 times now

Is it possible to reduce the ringing and ghosting artefacts?
Yes, do many of the same prints with different speeds and see which looks the best. Also try belt tightness same way.
Not being a jerk, but ABS needs 100c bed temps...over serveral printers, 100c always produces less warping if not enclosed

You didn't measure the printer's footprint; you measured the depth of your desk. I would have liked to see from the printers back foot to the front foot, also side to side to see how much room it will take up on my desk. I don't need to know your desk is 24 inches wide.

Using apple watch or a device which we can see it in decibel
Why an apple watch? There are literally devices built solely to tell you the decibel level of sounds. And they cost literally a fraction of the price of an apple watch. Not to mention an apple watch wouldn't give you even a close representation of actual decibel levels as its microphone is relatively low quality.
@@YourLocalRaccoon yea but if you already have an apple watch it doe’s the job quicker than going an d buy a device also im happy with the apple watch results as few decibels difference won’t make any change in my experience with the device

@@AMForouzani decibels are non-linear, 60 is significantly quieter than 65, so yes "a few decibels difference" is a massive difference

No auto bed leveling and all that messing about with rollers and wheels is a big No No for me.
Use a square to make sure the gantry is square to the base. The rods are so you can adjust it. Don't install them like this guy.

instead of buying a large build volume printer for cheap go and buy a small one for double price, sure kid :)
