For a series with great choreography, they look so stiff during animation... Is it the choppy frames?

I just saw the whole but wondering whether Fujimaki is the protagonist or not? cuz he seems to be antagonist of the anime and Himekawa appears to be the main character
Excellent choreography for a fight scene, but the animation is generic & if you were used to the Itagaki illustrated manga then this series was a bit of a letdown, Juzo is an interesting character but everyone wants to see Bunshichi Tanba's story.
Not really the fan favorite in Japan is Juzo, you don’t speak for everyone

They can't use the Itagaki illustration because the manga got canceled and they have no reference points that they can go off of except for what already exists.

@guts7958 this is just speculation from looking through reddit but it seems that Itegaki went on hiatus too many times, so he lost the rights to draw the characters.
Way much better than the so called disney comedians and marvel pantomime clowns of Hollywood

The choreography of the fights is pretty good, however that's where it ends. The story and characters are so poor.
Is a fighting story, if there's beatdowns and violence the rest doesn't matter that much

Manga wise, there are only so many other martial arts stories that do not go through the path of ridiculousness and have both amazing fights and great stories.
Same reason why, as much as I love good martial arts/action movies, I'm not eating every single action piece that's thrown out there just because "violence"
That's, at least for me, a very poor criterion to just watch something.

Also, Neon Genesis Evangelion also had low budget. Just stop.
@@ravifonseca8 bro the Japanese audience are already pretty familiar with garouden. They know the characters and what it is about. They didn't made this animation to attract new fans, they did it tho show that the already fans of it are not forgotten. And is simply a tribute for them. The original is probably older than both of us, is one of the things that inspired Baki. Sooner you learn that they make those for japanese people sooner you will understand that sometimes you can cross some animes that have no point at all, except to please the original manga or novel fan base with something.

To me I thought the animation style was rotoscoping since all of the moves done were real. It COULD be enhanced by AI but it's definitely not solely that.
This show is trash! Facial expressions non. All the male characters look like they're related. Guy kills bear but constantly gets his ass kicked by everyone else. Boring story.
