Phineas and Ferb is a classic cartoon from the early 2000's through the 2010's and has a place in our heart during all of our childhoods. We at Spilling The Milik decided to ask the question "Does Phineas and Ferb still hold up?" by reacting to some of the most funny and iconic meme centric episodes to see if we like it as adults. Watching the early episodes of squirrels in my pants, ain't got rhythm, getting busted and Doctor Doofensmirtz being crazy with Perry the platypus. With iconic music and everything To the finale of the series 10 years later, here is our reaction to Phineas and Ferb.

That one was great. Not only does she not believe them she goes crazy because there's nothing for her to tattle on.

Actually, following Phineas and Ferb's removal from Netflix, I spent a good few years disconnected from the show, but at the same time, I remembered that the tip of the shoelace had a name, but I couldn’t put my finger on it. Then, quarantine struck and I rewatched Phineas and Ferb, as I had Disney+, and it was there that I came back to knowing about the aglet.
I forgot.... so not 100% :
Fun-fact: Male platypuses have venomous barbs on their hind legs that can leave a grow adult in excruciating pain for months. So Perry is REALLY holding back on Doof. 😅
I think he does use them in at least one episode.
The show acknowledge that fact but Perry never actually use them

@@hy7864 I checked again and he uses them when he's in the water. Granted it doesn't seem to have much of a poisoning effect so maybe he didn't inject anything but he scratches him at least.
Phineas and Isabella really are perfect for each other, one's head is shaped like a chip and the other a bowl 😂

The “elevated” writing also makes the show timeless, where kids who grew up with it can rewatch the hell out of it catching all of the incredibly funny visual gags they weren’t looking for or the jokes they couldn’t understand.

Yeah I did. Also as an older person, I can’t believe I ever liked Phineas over Ferb. Ferb was just the best at everything. The only way to nerf Ferb was to stop him talking, otherwise he’d run the world.

Actually they’re considered between “8-12” officially; the creators merely confirmed the general age group but no solid age for them.
Also, considering he said that Ferb was 19 in the future episode where Venessa is 25 and their dating that would imply their 6 years apart, meaning he's 10 in the beginning. Do with that info what you will
I realize the reason I loved this show was because it's happiness. Everyone in PF's world had an indefinite amount of joy. For no reason. I was automatically happy when I watched this show.

Probably helps that they tried really hard to make sure everyone on the writing team was having actual fun with it when they'd write the episodes. You treat the people making a show good, and the good vibes spill over into what's being made pretty much every time without fail

Fun Fact: Mitchel Musso does indeed voice Jeremy. He was originally gonna voice Ferb, but when they made him British they gave Jerry a bigger role. And I’m pretty sure the intoxication thing happened while he was playing him; the creators had to fight to keep him.
The smartest thing that the show did was also quitting while ahead and actually successfully wrapping up most of the character arcs.

Out of most children’s cartoon villains, doofenshmirtz is pretty successful. He’s got a decent relation with his ex wife, a daughter that’s well liked and owns his own building he can just afford to fix when he blows it up. Oh an a small spin off series 😅
The funny thing about Candace not knowing what an Aglet is is funnier when you think about Ashley's character in the Suite Life of Zack and Cody effortlessly naming it before this show even came out
Having Keyan on the channel is so cool because he spends so much time putting his videos together that he helps you get into a show by dropping so many facts
There's a scene where Vanessa and Dr. D are riding on his scooter and some guy on a bike hits on her and he's like "SHE'S 16!" and blasts him in another dimension with a lazer gun lol.

Yeah, the ages of Phineas and Ferb always confused me. Like I already know the wiki says that they’re 8, but they’re often more adult than Candace. It’s almost the same as Perry - the wiki says he’s at least 5 with the maturity of an adult throughout the show and before “Act Your Age” which stunned me.
i couldve sworn phineas flat out says they’re 12 a few times? maybe 10, but there was never any indication they were younger

If Vanessa was 25 and Ferb was 19 in Act Your Age, then that makes Phineas and Ferb 10 (before Phineas turns 11 in Phineas Birthday Clip O' Rama) and Vanessa 16. She's 6 years older than Ferb, lol.
Honestly, I was too proud of Ferb for bagging Vanessa to even think about the age gap. It's like watching your little brother graduate from high school after years of struggle (which, considering he was going into college, is appropriate).

Ferb was this weird mute chara yer for most if the show, so when he did stuff like this it made it feel like he was just hiding his power level and it was great.
I think Dan was right about it not being too big of a deal, but I think that comes with a caveat of the older person’s (and ideally both parties’) feelings developing when they are both adults. Because it’s not clear how long they’ve been together, it’s a bit uncomfortable not knowing if that’s the case with them, but I’m willing to assume for the sake of charity to the creator and comfort for me. I used to think they were super cute so I don’t see any reason to assume the worst of it becoming canon.
