I have 2k hours in RL and have easily watched 150+ hours of CZcams tutorials on just about every mechanic since I first started playing in 2016. About 1 month of practice I can sort of? Air dribble. I can get a good set up and can finally hit the ball at least 3 times in order to get to the goal. This work paid off, and I *mean it.*

I've been playing for a bit over 2 years now, I just played with my friends for fun and they started learning dribbling, ariels, flicks, air dribbles and stuff. I've always wanted to do these in games, im able to do some of these in training but whenever Im playing I never seem to be able to actually do that stuff I learned and it's frustrating because my friends are pulling off air dribbles while the only thing im good for is goal, is it just my self confidence or am I just bad?

Its definately your confidence, just practice the mechanic you wanna get better at in games! Thats the only way to improve your confidence. I recommend you play something like hoops to get better at your aerials. And if you keep failing then dont give up! Failure is one step closer to succes!
