- This is an Air dribble tutorial. A Rocket League tutorial in under 10 minutes. These tips and tricks will hopefully show you the main focus in a successful air dribble. This video features former RLCS World Champion 0verZer0, notably known for his air dribble goal in season one RLCS to tie a series in the grand finals. How to air dribble:
Step 1: Always do your best.
Step 2: realise your best isn't good enough so you start trying squishys best.
Step 3: understand you'll never be as good as squishy so instead you decide to rail tons of adderall and spend 3 days straight practicing to no avail.
I can air dribble not all the time but pretty consistently

I watched this tutorial like 7 times and did over 4 hours (doesn’t sound like much) of training and now I’m dominating lobbies since I’m only gold in season 3 thanks Virge!

monkeydoodle of doom here’s a tip don’t boost when you jump and hit the ball into the air
When you boost you will be in a bad position
Also make sure to hit the ball directly underneath it

Easy peasy, watch the players more so than the ball. Know When you, your opponents or teammates are losing a challenge and position yourself accordingly

I’m a Diamond 3 and I’ve been on the verge of hitting champ for so long & I feel like I’ll never hit it. I want to learn how to better position myself on defense & to have better corner plays. I’d also like to learn how to consistently hit flicks, because my flicks aren’t consistent. I can dribble the ball indefinitely & I have good control, but I freeze up whenever I’m going for a flick.

@@blakeonhere Haha right. I hit C2 and once I did, I've had nothing but toxic or bad teammates, and I'm the least toxic person ever if they're bad, but then they go ahead and leave me to a 1v2. Went from C2 to D3 in a week.
This not only helped me practice my air dribbling but the comedy made me laugh my ass off 😂😂

The video seemed to fit more as “how to improve at air dribbles” rather than “how to air dribble” but it fit that purpose very well.
Silver 3 (yikes indeed) and probably ground dribbling and flicking.
I know a lot of other stuff I could work on but that is the one thing I think I could use extra help on.
great example of an informative tutorial, really highlighting the specifics behind the action (speed, boost - when to use it, when to not - car angles). all that really helps the viewer visualize and mentally map the process. thank you!

You don't need airdribbling at those ranks. At least if you want to rank up decently fast.
Just work on simpler mechanics like aerial control and knowing when to go for a ball since golds are pretty bad at judging that stuff
Work on consistent powerful hits instead of air dribbles

Howdy, fellow platinum here, ive been playing rocket league for almost 11 months now, when i first started i just played very casually with friends, but as time went on i became more obsessed with working on my mechanics. My main issue is that im not too sure how to use the things ive learned in training, and bringing them over into actual games. i can air dribble in freeplay easy-peasy. but once im in game i cant even hit the ball off the wall. I hope this gets recognized, it would be amazing to have a personal coaching session with the one and only virginaRL.
Yea i know how you are feeling it's because at matches you have more pressure on you so if you keep thinking about it you will choke so you just have to do it thats it.

It’s also sort of a confidence thing and not hesitating. You’re only going to get better if you try. I practice in comp because I don’t care about my rank and even though people get extremely upset (lol gotta love this community) I know I’m getting better and having fun doing it and that’s all that really matters.
Just take football training is easy playing against your freinds is easy play competitive your u have more pressure and it's garentueed you won't pull of the stuff you pull off in training .... I've slowly been getting there and actually started to pull some stuff that I do in training practice makes perfect 😁

NaNa Dubs I didn’t start air dribbling until I was a diamond 3 so maybe you should focus on other things, you really start to use air dribbles more in game when u hit masters.

Kick off is a good thing for gold and plat but flicks idk i feel its not for a gold players it well be a good play but u still in gold that means u still have less car control and ball control than plat and diamond also higher ranks so i guess u need to work on other stuff

@@lw.559 those are smurfes mostly its not easy to do a one flip reset im a c2 rn i can get a flip from the ball but i cant make it affective is still useless so for me i have to train a lot of hours for it but still its not possible for a gold player or plat or diamond to do it bcuz theyre bad at car control or ball control so it may be easy for them to get the flip but they cant score it

I’m champ 2 div 3, I’ve been struggling with know when to rotate back! Or when to cut and challenge the ball, and I do find myself stopping while on defense or putting myself out of position by trying to keep momentum. Loved the manscape transition 👍🏼
