Thank you, i’ve been wondering how i was going to install the tailgate on my 66 bronco without scratching anything. Your truck is exceptional!!! Love it!
This build has attention to detail showing through from the front to back. I've looked at several 60-66 Chevy truck and I can't remember seeing any that has exhibited the level of simple completeness that this truck does. Best of all you showed us how you did it. Thanks for the great footage and sharing......
That is one gorgeous Truck! What a fantastic restoration you have accomplished. Your attention to details through all of your videos is second to no one. Congrats!
Doing the same to my 47 GMC and have been at it for 3 years and still at it. You are an inspiration and this old man thanks you. This is a labor of Love and it it's not in you do something else! Okay, Here we go!
Every time I see that truck I'm stunned by how beautiful the paint is. What an amazing job you have done. The engine sounds very good, too. Congratulations!
Out of all the videos on youtube, I have to give you credit on all of your videos. They are very instructive and it appears that you have a great way of doing things. There are videos out there on instructions of DIY'S and yours seem the best. GREAT JOB!!! I think you are inspiring a lot of people with good information. NICE TRUCK DUDE., ENJOY.
you should be proud sir. that is a beautiful truck! your meticulous attention to detail if amazing. thank you for documenting and sharing this process with us. what an incredible transformation !
Your truck is nothing less than "GORGEOUS"!!! Never in its former life did it look this good. I noticed when you backed into the garage that only the drivers brake light worked. Later in the video, they both worked. ;o) When you get tired of being a carpenter, you can certainly do custom body work. ;o)
Im nervous as heck to start my 62 project , ive never ever done anything like this before ! This truck is absolutely amazing ! Thank you for sharing !!! Hey from Houston !!!
Beautiful truck! I really like how you got the look you wanted from the wheels without going wider in rear, but instead using less backspace. I’m a huge TTII fan and those polished 17s really set it off.
Mr Gibson that is one sweet truck man I hav watch your channel for sometime now. I got a 86 c10 I wont to start on. I just hope mine turns out like your sir.
I had the same problem with thebrake light on my 63 Chevy truck . turned out to be the signal light selector was not centering. You have done an amazing job on that truck . barrett-jackson material for sure love it keep on strokin
Dude that truck is so sick! I enjoyed watching that truck come together. Keep up the good work! I'm restoring an 89 k5 blazer. I wish I had half your skills.
For grounds on those era tail lamps, if like the 67, the socket is crimped into the housing. What I did was use the regular ground, but wire wheeled the socket at the housing, soldered it flux first, then drilled an extra hole in the same house, used star washers to eyelet and ran to the beds frame. Voltage drop is a task that is quick, doesn't lye and doesn't care if meter leads are backwards. Fixed hundreds of electrical problems this way. On a pickup, you need a ground from battery to engine, but to the frame, cab, bed and on the back frame of the alternator where negative is created to engine!
Beautiful C10. I'm restoring a 65 for my dad. I'm going with the same wheels in a 18x8 front, 18x9.5 rear for a wider tire. I'm still deciding on the stance for it.
Man if my truck was that nice I'd be sitting and starting at it every evening after work. haha! Truck is just plain Sweet bud. Thanks for showing us how you got the gate in. I was wondering how I was gonna do that without scuffing paint when I got there. lol Liking the tires and rims to.
Very nicely done, tailgate is slick as glass, and the body lines are just perfect all around your truck. Many hours of work pays off at the end, it's all in the small detail's. Bumpers left and then ready for driving ?
Mr. Gibson - Awesome work, I'm restoring a 66 C10 shortbed. Your videos have helped me tremendously. Could you tell me where you purchased your rims, that is if you purchased online, thanks?
Looking really good. Are you worried a little about the latches on the tailgate scuffing the paint over time? Was thinking you may be able to use a self adhesive padding on the back side of the latches to keep them from metal on paint. Love the truck. Do you think Custom Classic Truck magazine or another one like it may pick this up as a build article? They definitely should.
I am with you 100% on everything down the line except the old clunky farm gate tailgate hardware. It's like when the best looking girl wears her favorite white pants and when she walks by you notice she sat on a Tostada or something..
Wouldn't have it any other way on these classic trucks I'm all for the chains unless I was really customizing the truck, thanks for watching that was pretty funny about the tostada
Thank you, i’ve been wondering how i was going to install the tailgate on my 66 bronco without scratching anything.
Your truck is exceptional!!! Love it!
The truck is absolutely flawless....A+
