    I needed this last year big time lol. Great video Jared!! My issue was my weight distribution in knee knockers and staggered wheelies causing me to pull right.

    Can you learn good wheelies on a pit bike? I can keep it up 10-15 feet on my 110 but I can't get my grom more than 2 feet off the ground

    • @jar7d
      @jar7d  Před 10 měsíci +2

      You can but I don’t think the skill would translate as well from a 110 to a big bike as a grom would. But you could learn on the 110 then use that to get good on the grom. At the end of the day foot brake and throttle control is all you need. Once you have that you can wheelie any bike but the way the feel is the only learning curve. Like dipping a grom won’t feel exactly the same as a big bike but the way to get there with throttle and foot brake is still the same. But the throttle and foot brake can also be more or less touchy

    Is there big difference in steering like this with R7 compared to something like zx6r or cbr600 in terms of difficulty?

    • @jar7d
      @jar7d  Před 10 měsíci

      Nope it’s all the same. Only difference is that a thicker tire is a little harder to steer, but I made the tutorial on a 190 so it shouldn’t be any harder than how I did it. And low psi would be harder to steer as well

      @@jar7d Ig I just need to get used to my bike lol, coming from supermoto feels near impossible to do it with my 600 lol

    thank you man. My bike falls left and right, I think it might be also because its a surron and its lightweight

    • @jar7d
      @jar7d  Před 10 měsíci

      Super skinny tires on dirtbikes and surrons are gonna be hard to control. You’ll have to learn how to stay centered well and steer with your hips

      @@jar7d thank you man. I am pretty sure my wheel alignment is right. I do have bigger tires, but still, isn't even relaly the size of a dirt bikes tires. Sometimes I get so far leaning (tends to be right) in a wheelie to the point where it feels like my body is locked in place and I can't just lean back one way. Also do you know if the only way to control a wheelies speed is by dropping it back? I am at a pretty good point in the wheelie but my wheelie starts dropping down at about 40

    • @shaun7057
      @shaun7057 Před 10 měsíci

      @@TysonEditsyeah bro pretty much the only way to slow a wheelie down is getting it pretty much on the back side of balance point ideally past balance point aka “dropping back”. And work on your throttle control and try to be as smooth as possible on the throttle.
