Isn’t Columbiana Mall closed? Native of Columbia here, moved away years ago, now living in Beijing but thinking of moving back to Columbia. I saw a video several yrs ago about the demise of Columbiana.

Columbiana Mall is still open in the Irmo area. You may thinking of Richland Mall in the Forest Acres area. That one closed a few years ago. They currently bulldozing it down and transforming it into a community park and business area. The plans for it looked spectacular! Thanks for watching.

Chestnut Hills goes to Dutch Fork M.S. and DFHS. What about Friargate? But i guess since theres no amenities (HOA), solely middle class homes, and a mixed race community, you aren't interested in this nice area.

Thanks for your comment! I'm sorry for the mistake in my video regarding the schools. Chestnut Hills does indeed attend Dutch Fork Middle and High. I still get nervous on camera and do sometimes say things that my brain knows better. :) I film lots of different neighborhoods and it's impossible to cover them all. While Chestnut Hills and the others I covered in this video have their appeal, it doesn't mean areas like Friargate aren't also great places to live.

@an80slady, it sounds like you’re projecting your opinion onto hers from a high horse. So what if she omitted Friarsgate from her list for those reasons. It’s her list, her opinion. I went to school at DF and grew up with people from Friarsgate- there was nothing special about it and a lot of the kids were troublemakers.
