Really enjoyed this. Haven't actually heard any from your list myself, but looked up that STAR CD which seems well worth a listen!
My fave noise album of the year is probably Primative Wings - Morphosis or one of Umpio's, but I'm waiting for that same batch of Satatuhatta CDs so one of those could very well top it.

Keep an eye out for all of them if you can! Satatuhatta brought a lot of heat this year just like the past previous years. Also waiting on a package from them with the new THE NEW BOYFRIENDS album, which is always really fun material.

Hm! The way you describe that Body Carve album makes me feel like I should give it a few more shots. As for my favorites, i'd have to go with both Commando 15 tapes that came out this year. I love that someone in this current era of noise can be so restrained with their sound yet evoke so much. It lies somewhere between old electroacoustic experimental music and radio jamming during wartime. (The project being finnish ostrobothnian like myself is also a plus!!)
Carte Blanche is definitely in my top 5 as well.
