I love that the game brings back Earth's nighttime city lights automatically when things return to normal as though humanity hasn't just gone through it's 5th extinction event this week.
I find that quite hilarious, like literally the air is Being turned into a plasma and as soon as temperature returns to normal everything reverts and humans just pop back into existence, doing whatever they were doing before, not knowing anything happened

SCIENCE: This is called tidal locking and it’s actually fairly common in extraterrestrial solar systems. Neither extreme is safe, one side boils you and the other freezes you. However, right in between there is a narrow band of temperate climate that lives in constant dusk/dawn. This is called the terminator line. The only issue that remains is that the air flow from cold to hot and hot to cold sides creates massive storms on the terminator. It’s a fun concept :)
Edit: Comments reminded me that the Moon is in fact tidally locked. Notice that when one looks at the moon it’s always the same side with the exact same arrangement of dark and light patches. This is because the same side of the moon always faces Earth, and the other side is always facing away. This is also what causes the Moon cycles going from 🌑🌘🌗🌖🌕🌔🌓🌒🌑. So there’s that fact. In conclusion, Florida.

There's actually a planet with this Issue discovered somewhat recently, in the habitable Zone, but one Side Always facing the sun. It's theorized that there's Life on the Zone that's eternally in morning/evening time.
