In this video, you get to experience traditional cooking in typical Ghanaian way. I share with you a very traditional popular recipe which originates from the northern part of Ghana. We will be cooking outside as this is how a typical Ghanaian home will cook. It was nicer because there was lots of fresh air and you feel like you are right here with me in my Ghana home.
Hope you enjoy. xx

Its generally shortened to be TZ. Have you tried this before? I will love to know. xx Don’t forget to LIKE and SUBSCRIBE ❤️❤️❤️
Ama, is Aisha ready to marry? If yes, please tell her to wait for me. I will be coming home next year. Medaase
My mom used to make TZ and she used Shea butter oil for the stew. She also added some of the dango dango and other authentic spices the northerners use. I have never prepared it myself but you have inspired me to do so now.
YOU GUYS DO NOT EAT A LOT !!! I ALWAYS WANT MORE EVERY TIME I SEE YOU SHARE FOOD
my mum weaned me with TZ. I have loved it ever since
Yes
Am I the only one who gives Jasmines video a thumbs up before I actually watch? I’m excited 🤩
No you not the only person that dose. I do to because I know whatever I see a video I know I will enjoy it
All the time 👍🏾
I do too.. most of the people I watch
Me too
Me too
Aisha got that 'West African Aunty' strength, speed, stamina and technique when it comes to stirring.
The food looks good.
Looool
And knife skill too
The knife skills are off the hook. when I moved to the northern part of the U.S.A. people thought I was crazy for cutting like that and eating off the sharp edge of the knife. little children knew how to use a knife back in the day.
I miss West African food especially Ghanaian food. Can't wait to return!!!
Aisha is so funny, She will intentionally go to the market and ask them she wants jute leaves instead of ayoyo. so hilarious.
Aisha is soooo me 🤣🤣🤣
Aisha is so funny always makes me laugh. You guys are amazing . Food looks delicious!!👏❤
I recently discovered this channel and find myself just leaving it on and hanging out with Jasmine and her people. I'm almost 70yrs. old and it reminds me of living in the southern U.S. A. in my youth.
Aww ❤️❤️
I agree with the southern similarities
Where my northerners and Zongo people at? Let’s eat. Muchi Tuo da Miyan Ayoyo 💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿. Can’t wait to get to Gh
It is nice to prepare the food like this, talking and together. The language sounds nice too. Jasmine and Aysha, such a good team❤️❤️
I love when you just chat in general in Ghanaian, half Ghanaian and feels like home from home 🇬🇭
The dishes always look so good. Have you thought about publishing a Ghanaian cook book? Thanks for always sharing 💙🙏🏽
My mom is building an outdoor kitchen for our place in Ghana too. It's much needed
All of you look beautiful in your natural hair.
The stomach meat of the goat or cow is called tripe in english. I only knew it in my language too.
Nice video, I have noticed Aisha's shyness has slowly disappeared lol. like you mentioned it before when the camera is not there she is not shy but now she's getting used to it her personality is coming out.
TZ is one of my favorite...glad to see you cook this. Thanks Ama!
Thanks for translating this discussion, Aisha always put a smile on my face merely watching her on your channel, Jasmine. She's gonna be good in an entertainment field or Nollywood. Altho, she appears shy on the camera but I think with a few training, she'll be up for the task.
You are always bringing fresh content ideas to Ghanaian CZcams. As a non speaker of your language, I loved your casual conversation with Aisha the first few minutes. Felt like I was "part of the family". 👍🏾
Aw thanks ❤️
Wow, love how Aisha sliced the green leaves for the Touzafi soup using the knife 🔪. It's my favourite and I love it. Haha 😂 the carpenter story made me laugh and the meat looks huge.
🤣🤣
Simple but quality life. Free from reflecting that the next day you gonna be in the office
Tuo zafi is really good. I interestingly had some prepared for me yesterday and I ate the leftover this morning. Proper Africa man’s breakfast.😀😀😀
🤣🤣🤣
Watching this all the way from New Jersey! I had so much watching this.
Yes two beautiful women outdoors cooking.
I wish I were there, that food looks very good.
Thanks for sharing, Be blessed.
Hi Smiley Face.
Yeah we mostly cook outdoors. I miss my mom’s house.
@Rashaenka my home has two kitchens. One outdoor and one proper kitchen. The outdoor is firewood cooking and occasional event cookings
@Rashaenka The weathers hot, people get to be together outdoors, more social, good vibes. Why be inside a stuffy boring kitchen.
So good, my husband cooks for me all the time. Never tried jute leaves yet? I can taste the yummy meal!!!
I remember when I was younger and I called to fan the fire, I would run away 🙈🤣😂
😂🤣😅. Same
Cutting skills 👌 no Cutting board required!🙂
Congrats on 60k🥳🎉🎊🎈
Keep going.....
We got ya!
I enjoyed cooking with you two, I love the synergy between you too, also. Aisha and her silent shyness, whispering, and then her out burst, hence...”ITS JUICY!” Funny and Sweet she is, her actions. Thank you Jasmine, lovely! I will be staying tuned in...One day, Some day you will make a great wife, your husband will be proud of your cooking and open mindedness. “Carry on!”😘

Yaaayy congrats on 60K!!! 💕
This is so crazy to me. I’m making this tomorrow for my family. I started cooking the stew today. We call this Ewedu in nigeria. It’s jute leaves with stew on the side and pounded yam or fufu
Oh never knew Nigerians ate something similar ❤️
Cameroonian also eat this . It is called kelekele🥰🥰🥰
@@01larios wow west Africa is small oooo
@@Daleanaaa very small but Cameroon is in central Africa
@@01larios my bad. It’s on the cusp so I guess I always just say west when indeed it’s more central just like Egypt in entering into Arab territory but it’s actually in Africa as far as continent. Anyway shout to to my Coupe de cale dancing peoples! Love y’all and your food is hot!!! Af love that!
Great job on describing the way the food taste. we can all relate with the description.
You should definitely publish a cookbook!
Jasmine, I must say, you seems to be well versed in a lot of things.
When are you opening up your restaurant?
Thanks so much. No restaurant ohh. For now anyway ❤️
TZ is one of my favorite food. Thank you so much for sharing.
Love, love this video. Reminds me of saturday afternoons growing up in Sierra Leone. Saturdays were busy, with all the food preparation and lots of pounding of foo-foo (cassava dough)., grinding onions and pepper on flat rocks (called pepperstone). We call jute leaves crain crain. I have just discovered them here in the UK. Egyptians consume it a lot. They call it Molokhia - and import it so, finally, I get it frozen and already diced. Thanks Jasmine for making truly authentic and mood capturing content. God bless you, may your diligence continue to bring you great success.
❤️
I’m so excited to see when you upload a video ❤️
I do occasionally cook Tuozaafi on holidays and invite close frnds. I learnt from my mom.
Lovely ❤️

Oh you have a part of you as Kwahu, there’s so much potentials in Kwahu for contents you’d make awesomely. Fingers crossed for that.
Our house had indoor kitchen growing up in Barbados but I am fascinated by cooking outdoors by Nigerians and Jamaicans so I brought Cast Iron pots with the Hope of one day leaving NYC and having an outdoor kitchen.
Thank you ladies.Lovely food💛💜

Wow...one of my favorite foods...The north really has some of the best foods and without their foods the typical Ghana diet would be so boring... that's just my opinion oooooo🤷🏾♀️😋😋😋
I agree ❤️
(Re-comment) You have so much fun when visiting the family home!
Looks very yummy😘😘next time try to add dawadawa to get that flavourful roadside diehuo taste....
