My name is Jasmine and I have relocated from Sydney Australia to Ghana in west Africa as of the year 2020.
My parents are of Ghanaian descent and so am I although I was born in Australia. Here on my channel, my goal is to give you a real glimpse into what it’s like to live in Ghana and other parts of Africa, from the food, to the culture, to the lifestyle and everything in between. My goal is to satisfy your curiosity about Ghana and other African countries.
My prayer is that these videos do just that for several African’s in the diaspora.
Follow your bliss because life is short, follow your bliss because human life has no intrinsic value, follow your bliss because everything happens for the greater good and follow your bliss because it has all happened before.
If we Ghanaians from the diaspora had this attitude…Ghana would be heaven …the mindset, the attitude and unity with his neighbours to make a change and impact the community is imaculate
Bro ,I have said that before we see Ghana is heaven for us, then it is too late for us
Some ppl are also desperately pushing the opposite agenda. If we don't build our Ghana, no one will build it for us.
Absolutely 💯
They have done an awesome job. This is exactly what my husband has done in our community. We have discussed it with our brother Douglas over the phone. Period. We can come in with new eyes as my husband has. He tells the people that if you wait for government to come and do something you might be gone before they actually get around to it and you will not enjoy The benefits but if we come together and solve our issues now, we can enjoy. Our road was not able to be crossed at certain times during rainy season now we are able to cross it anytime to the organization of ourselves and helping ourselves little by little we have also installed lights and are working on getting public waterlines for thosewanting to connect to it through our section of our community. We have also met a lot of people this way, and learned about the businesses they have which we patronize now it is win win win all around.
@@kimberlymensah5063hello Kimberly! Douglas here. You’ve done an amazing job too.
This dad is so cool. His children are like his friends and his wife is a nice lady too.
Awww thanks! That’s the kind of relationship I had with my late Dad. Thank God for the bond I’ve built with the children.
If this your family channel please?going to subscribe right away @@FamilyByNature
@@AdjoaOparebea_ yes please. Family By Nature is our channel. Many thanks!
This is quite refreshing to watch. I’ve lived in the U.S for nearly 2 decades and never wanted to build anything in Ghana. The man’s story made me change my mind.
I just called my mum to go and check on an acre of land at Kumasi Hilltop for me. I need to create a haven back home in Kumasi.
Aw so lovely . Hilltop is stunning ❤️
Great, go for it. You can do it!
The W'ay3 late. The lands there are sold out, 😂😂😂😂😂 that's a joke by the way.
Wishing you all the best.
Jasmine this a great interview I love this family..I started watching them in the UK. Many blessings USA 🇺🇸 🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲
There home looks lovely 😊
Really beautiful story, my parents took us to the caribbean from the uk when we were kids, we enjoyed it as kids, learnt allot about the caribbean, as adults now, we cannot thank them enough, it's very imortant for the kids to know their history.
Well done.Your wife is lovely and I congratulate her for making the transition easier for her husband and children ❤️
Many thanks!
???
“Do you see God out here with a shovel?” I absolutely love the attitude and vision of this brother and his beautiful family! With an AfriCAN spirit, the Diaspora will continue to shape our Motherland into the beautiful and world class destination that it truly is. 💪🏾♥️🖤💚💛🇬🇭
Many thanks and God bless you! Cheers, Douglas Nimoh.
What a real family head and a Good father he Is I Wish I had a father like him growing up I hope his kids never take him for granted and cherish him FOREVER GODBLESS them am all am soo motivated by this video Thanks alot for sharing
A beautiful down to earth family , one of my favourites in Ghana , l have been following their journey for sometime now . ❤❤
🥰
Many thanks brother Stanley! Thanks for your support from the beginning.
Your children were with you in all this. If they were complaining of heat, mosquitoes, water, electricity and food. You should have thought of going back. So me the most gratitude goes to your wife and children then to you dad for strong hand you grew up your children - in Canada but from Zimbabwe. I wish you the best 👌
I love this beautiful family especially the baby - David. Davids are always gentle people 🥰❤️❤All the best for the future in Jesus name. Amen 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
Family of 9. The first daughter is in UK. I like the orientation the parents have given to the children.
This family is what you call inspiring, even the young ones have an open mindset. Folks need to stop complaining about every little problem, instead use that problem and create a business to get a solution. The western counties was not always as it's seems, they were built up by immigrants with their ideas and inventions, the same can be done with other developing countries.
Many thanks, Dean!
The western countries were built up by slaves from Africa.
@@denniscasely-hayford3245 Be precise with the word ''western''. In USA, yes. I doubt the same can be said about Europe.
That is so true!!😊
West was born on the backs of Africans and their stolen resources
Thanks for interviewing my favourite Kumasi family. ❤
Anytime 🥰
Awww thanks sis!
Do they have a CZcams channel?

A beautiful family indeed and I love their positive energy about being there. 🌍🇬🇭🇬🇭❤. Alittle elbow grease, that’s all it takes!
Many thanks, Jason!
Very happy for my childhood friend Kwasi and his beautiful family. Hope to see you guys soon.❤🙏🏾
Amazing family the kids are so well behaved
Awww many thanks 🙏
Very nice and informative video and one thing they mentioned is the hospitals and I'm glad they talked about that because one thing a lot of people out there in the diaspora get misinformed is that they think Africa don't have good hospitals and medical care so it will be great jasmine if you could do some hospital vlogs and have conversation with the best hospitals, it's locations and even interview the doctors, nurses and the patients about how they feel and their experiences to clear the air about the mindset of some diasporas. Hope you will consider doing this Ama Jasmine.
Please, don't let her start😂😂😂😂. They are only going to complain about what they don't have, lol.
@@Ghanadiaries😂😂
Many thanks 🙏
Please don't get dillusional when it comes to good standard Hospitals, there aren't many.Remember most top African politicians fly outside for treatment. Sad but FACT
@@user-ph7my7cr1v You are dillusional.
Whether there aren't many "good standard hospitals " or whatever bottom line is there's still some out there unlike some ignorant ones that think there's none at all so abeg next time you want to comment on someone's page read and understand very well okay..
Just watched this, very very, encouraging; motivating family, they made me feel like i move BACK TO KENYA TODAY. Avery well DETERMINED FAMILY. Theyve adopted so good. CONGRATS MUM FOR BRINGING FORTH ALL THESE KIDS
Such an amazing family. The interview was so nice.

His elder son is very intelligent 😅😅😅boy
Glad you interviewed this lovely family. They are so inspirational, have a big heart, ready to share their knowledge and very generous. Have been following them since day one😊 Keep up the good job, Jasmine 💕
Awww many thanks, Patience!
Am really jealous about this size of the family and how they get on.
They’ve really done well for themselves and that’s a great move.
I never thought of being babble to cater for a big family but I wish I could have this size but it’s too late. I have only one son and not married so I have to appreciate what I also have.
Well done !!!!
Many thanks and God bless you! Well done!
This family is so very inspiring! Thank you for sharing your story!

I wish ur family all the best.
What is your family youtube channel
Hi gorgeous Jasmine hope all is well with you thanks for the informative videos especially this one. As a person born in Jamaica 🇯🇲 making preparations to return home to the motherland this video inspires and motivate me even more to push even harder to relocate. Really knowing my history that my ancestors were stolen from Alkebulan i have a deep burning desire to return home and i will not be comfortable until i get there. I'm subscribed to your channel and others as well cause the more information i can get the better prepared I'll be. This family of 8 and how they stuck it out showed me anything is possible as long as you put your heart mind and soul into it. I have seen and heard that Ghana is very much like Jamaica so if i can survive here I'm confident i can survive there amongst my very own. Much love from Jamaica to the motherland ❤🇯🇲🇸🇳
❤️❤️
You can always survive and we'll always be here to help
Many thanks 🙏 Wishing you all the best with your relocation plans. My son-in-law’s mum is Jamaican and the dad is Ghanaian. One love ❤️
Good choice. Many from the diaspora get settled in or near Accra. It is A bad choice. The best place to get settled is the suburbs of Kumasi. The weather is good. Good schools, meaningful jobs or business. It is a combination of both urban and rural life. You can make a simple life and yet you don't lack anything. You can arrange to have good security..
Thanks for the info
Welcome come back to Africa.
I like the way you settled in.
I like the size of your family.
My family is just as big.
I like it that you mention God in all you say and do.
I love the fact that the older children will have their apartments soon.
Stay united, be blessed!❤
Amazing!
Waouu great family,my heart filled with joy.
My respect to the great man/wife but also the first son, he's like a brother to his father
Please help me and my family. With good team of people that's not going to play us outta of are money but take care of us. I love this family and there video
Awesome... This interview (more like a reality TV show) is so interesting, riveting and inspiring to watch. I can't believe I watched an hour plus CZcams video with such delight that I lost track of time. Thank you Jasmine for this content. Very apt. I am Nigerian but I fell in love with Ghana because of this interview even though I have always had a soft spot for this 'twin brother' country of ours.
But more importantly watching this man's family sparked a new kind of flame in me - A renewed love for Africa and a sudden desire to have a big family. I have always been a small family advocate (for obvious reasons) despite coming from a family of nine myself and being a firm believer in the traditional family. I'm married with only one child and it was so by choice. But this video here birthed a new perspective and unlocked my spirit in a different way.
Many thanks to Mr. Douglas Nimoh and his beautiful family for letting us into their lives. God bless your home.
Well done! God bless this man for what he did for his family and the community 🩵He is certainly a visionary. He has the right mindset. Also you can see that the children are healthy and well-spoken. Mummy did a great thing teaching them how to love themselves. God bless you mummy for enduring 🩷And congrats to Jasmine. She has a sweet ❤️
We don't get letters😂 heavy on that omg
Jasmine do you interview Nigerians that moved to Gh please? I'd like to watch those if any
Please you know what?? The MAN is very HONEST… Very Open to the WIFE and Kids… that’s why they are Successful….. WELL DONE 👍 SIR ✌️👏🙏🏽👏✌️Beautiful 😍Family…
Many men do not have these qualities is is honest and transparent no secrets and there is no division this is healthy parenting and team work from both parents.
I love this family.❤❤❤
Many thanks, Joanne! Much love from the family ❤
I'm inspired by your story. My friend lives in Switzerland and they are also leaving to go for good to Southern Africa, they finished building. However, You don't need Chlorine in your water, that is fresh water from underground not dirty water like in Germany or UK, they use chlorine to recycle dirty water, they add chlorine as a mask to return the same water back to houses to use hence they drink toilet water and they have the audacity to charge people for this. Check it out. Only filter your water and drink your pure water. Search about chlorine from whistleblowers like Thames water, Anglian water or Scottish water, and see pictures
Why are they leaving Switzerland?
Beautiful family, I wish them all well. No bills, so happy for them! Thank you for sharing. 😍
Many thanks!

I truly want Africa to be great, a lot of Africans will come back home. Africa is a fun place to be if we can get our leadership right. Ask 95% of Africans abroad they want to go back home, home is always home. This is very inspiring to watch. I miss Africa 😢
The Caribbean is the same. One look forward to going back to their country of origin. If it was not for education or finance, most foreigners would forgo residing in the West.
