You liked their lower (past gen) Flagships the Z5 and HA-FX1000, so am wondering what you think oft he new boys (at a whole new level of price too, lol)
Oh, I already tried the IERZ1R today at the Sony store at Ginza. It was amazing! Totally a refinement of the Z5 signature. Maybe not as fun in terms of low end bass rumble, but the bass depth and tightness was sublime and the highs are shimmery and detailed. It made the IER-M9 sound a little muddy in comparison heh. Still the new Sony house sound, but done right. I’m still not sold on the design, particularly the rubbery feeling cable, but it was very comfortable despite the size. I do want to see that new JVC!
@@lachlanlikesathing good to hear good to hear, your impression reflect those of other Z5 owner I've read. Man if you can make a small tidbit of video for it it'd be nice~ still so few impressions here in the west because Sony can't keep up with the demand.

The JVC, been hearing good things about it, some people like to do a toss up of it and the Z1R.
Then there's the new (ish) flavor of the month CA Solaris and QDC Anole VX.
That two ain't Japanese tho, but if you do find them (somehow) would be nice to hear your opinions :)
