@@KatesAg Kate you can call me Terry your making me feel to important. Right now we are getting a new roof on our house. There's 9 guys working on it. When Hurricane Mathew blew through in 2014 it damaged the roof it's took all this time to get the Insurance company to pay. The other thing is a buddy of mine is giving me his Hot Tub for free so we're working on getting it to our house. It weighs 800 lbs and will take at least 6 guys to lift it. The guys working on the roof said they would do it. My friends wife died so he doesn't want it anymore. My wife Alison will enjoy it so it's nice of him to let us have to it.
I sure hope there are 4H and other educational programs using Kate's Ag in their instruction, the detail and explanations are amazing in information and coherence for what you are demonstrating! Keep doing what you are doing!
Watching you is a delight. You may not be aware of it but your video teaches us about life. The video shows us you preparing to harrow, checking all the details (rpm, direction, speed, etc.), doing things the way it should be done and when you become a little confident doing it, then suddenly you hit a coulee, gives you a jolt or two, but you get your composure back and laughing at that experience. In essence, that's life. Who would have thought that I would be philosophical and delighted just watching you. YOU GO GIRL!

Do you remember your teacher yelling at you "stop dreaming, you wont find a job where you can just look out of the window the whole day!"? little did they know about the joy of farm work.
Hi Kate, you dont have to shift the tractor down if you're going to turn it off, just put it in park.When you start it again it will automatically be in a lower gear for starting out. Looked like you were really enjoying harrowing, fun to go faster.
Another job well done Kate. The last turn I saw looked really good. The harrow did stay in the field and not in the grass or road so thats a win. When I was driving tractor trailer in what seems like a lifetime ago, whenever I would come up to someplace new or different then it normally is I would always be looking ahead to plan what I was going to do with my turn or when backing into a dock or whatever. The cities here in the midwest and east are old and not made for a 53 foot trailer so I had to be ready for anything. Never a dull moment. Have yourself a wonderful day and until next time BYE 👋
The amount of loss on your fields is heartbreaking. I learned of sawflies through your videos and now I dislike them nearly as much as mosquitos. If only there was some ferocious creatures that would eat them all. Thanks for sharing

Funny your dad lets you fly the plane, drive the 18 wheeler, operate all the hi tech farm equipment but wont let you fly his drone. Must be his personal toy. Love your videos. The 21st century farmer must be an engineer, scientist, pilot, meteorologist, coder, mechanic and be willing to get their hands in the dirt. Keep doing what your doing Kate you are the future! I wish your channel was required viewing in schools and everyone watched at least one episode but like a certain potato chip they cant stop; at just one.

It always is odd to see the tractor driving itself. Old school here hehehehe. Love how quick you are learning on each new area of the equipment. Love Montana. Used to live in North Idaho and would go over to Libby for stuff all the tome. Keep at it - and stay awesome. With your dad and family support - your channel is great!
I've seen many different farmers post their videos online. One thing that they all have in common is less time looking directly at the camera and more time focusing on what is going on around them with their equipment, the different gauges in the tractor, etc. They can still be heard and seen, but it also gives them time to stop suddenly if need be before running over something that may damage that expensive equipment. I'm surprised there's no snow on the ground because we definitely have it here in the upper Midwest, with daytime high temps -12 with -35 windchill. Winter is definitely here, and by looking at that sky, it looks like snow is coming.
YOU ARE A FARMER! So it’s no surprise to see you harrowing by yourself. My kids love ya, and maybe it’s odd, but I feel just as happy about operating a piece of equipment as you or my kids do. I think their are quite a few of us old farts on here who are the same way. So you bring a big smile to our faces too, not just the kids. That seems like a recipe for success. You are looking at a real long term thing here if you choose to stick with it. Your a dragon slayer Kate.

Hey Kate, hope your having a Great Day, good to see you learning All you can about the farming equipment because probably here in about the next 10 to 15 years since you already have the SELF STEER on the straight aways , there will be no one actually in the actual tractors 🚜 it will all be ran by computer UNFORTUNATELY, I think, unless something breaks down, all ran from the in home of the farm, computerized and the farmer can look in on all the equipment in all the fields and equipment as they are working and how far or how much longer or it has left, personally, NOT looking forward to that day, I always liked being in the equipment , whatever it might be tractor 🚜, combine ETC, just that fresh air and nice , hard day's work but I guess things must always change, , well hope I didn't wear your ear OFF 🤣🤣 CYA soon on the next video and BE SAFE 😎😎🚜
Good job. We are recovering from our covid attack as life approaches normal again.. Our grand daughter wants you to know she is farming too. Her third grade class is turning incubated chicken eggs three times a day. When we were boys raising chickens was my brother and my job. I made pets of some and taught them to fly onto my head. Like you we have had a warm spell. but we will have a snowstorm on Friday. Droughts are boring. I want snow. I heard Ronnie Spector died as I typed this. Her music was part of my young life.

Funny your dad lets you fly the plane, drive the 18 wheeler, operate all the hi tech farm equipment but wont let you fly his drone. Must be his personal toy. Love your videos. The 21st century farmer must be an engineer, scientist, pilot, meteorologist, coder, mechanic and be willing to get their hands in the dirt. Keep doing what your doing Kate you are the future! I wish your channel was required viewing in schools and everyone watched at least one episode but like a certain potato chip they cant stop; at just one.

It always is odd to see the tractor driving itself. Old school here hehehehe. Love how quick you are learning on each new area of the equipment. Love Montana. I've seen many different farmers post their videos online. One thing that they all have in common is less time looking directly at the camera and more time focusing on what is going on around them with their equipment, the different gauges in the tractor, etc. They can still be heard and seen, but it also gives them time to stop suddenly if need be before running over something that may damage that expensive equipment. I'm surprised there's no snow on the ground because we definitely have it here in the upper Midwest, with daytime high temps -12 with -35 windchill. Winter is definitely here, and by looking at that sky, it looks like snow is coming.

YOU ARE A FARMER! So it’s no surprise to see you harrowing by yourself. My kids love ya, and maybe it’s odd, but I feel just as happy about operating a piece of equipment as you or my kids do. I think their are quite a few of us old farts on here who are the same way. So you bring a big smile to our faces too, not just the kids.
That seems like a recipe for success. You are looking at a real long term thing here if you choose to stick with it. Your a dragon slayer Kate.

Hey Kate, hope your having a Great Day, good to see you learning All you can about the farming equipment because probably here in about the next 10 to 15 years since you already have the SELF STEER on the straight aways , there will be no one actually in the actual tractors 🚜 it will all be ran by computer UNFORTUNATELY, I think, unless something breaks down, all ran from the in home of the farm, computerized and the farmer can look in on all the equipment in all the fields and equipment as they are working and how far or how much longer or it has left, personally, NOT looking forward to that day, I always liked being in the equipment , whatever it might be tractor 🚜, combine ETC, just that fresh air and nice , hard day's work but I guess things must always change, , well hope I didn't wear your ear OFF 🤣🤣 CYA soon on the next video and BE SAFE 😎😎🚜

We are recovering from our covid attack as life approaches normal again.. Our grand daughter wants you to know she is farming too. Her third grade class is turning incubated chicken eggs three times a day. When we were boys raising chickens was my brother and my job. I made pets of some and taught them to fly onto my head. Like you we have had a warm spell. but we will have a snowstorm on Friday. Droughts are boring. I want snow.
I heard Ronnie Spector died as I typed this. Her music was part of my young life.
