*good video. Sometimes it is very difficult to open this kind of power supply when the box is glued*
you are right, glued and thermoplastic welding joints are headache 😂 sometime it needs cutting and sometime plastic is so rigid that it prffers to break instead of separate 😂
but we have to open it, even it open gently or breaks. it is plastic's choice

I have a xytronic lf-8800, it works fine but the desoldering part doesn't, it's always clogged and I already had to change the resistance.
I like it, but as a desolder it's rubbish.
