- in this video number {925} LED driver circuit using LIS9412, i explained Non-isolated step-down LED driver controller. Patented CCM working mode, Feed-forward current sampling without burning lamp beads, Over-temperature current foldback function, The most streamlined system structure, No input/output electrolytic operation, Input / Output Voltage "Zero" Distance, Integrated high-voltage start-up and high-voltage power supply functions, Integrated leading edge blanking (LEB), Integrated inductance compensation function
overview
LIS9412 is a control chip dedicated to LED constant current drive. It is suitable for step-down non-isolated applications. By adopting a number of patented control technologies, the system architecture has been simplified to the greatest extent. LIS9412 works in the inductor current continuous mode, no output filter capacitor is needed, and the ripple current of the load can still be kept at a low level; at the same time, compared with the current discontinuous mode, the peak current is smaller and the effective current is smaller, so the device loss is lower. The system can easily reach an efficiency of more than 95%. LIS9412 adopts the patented output constant current technology to ensure that the output current does not change with the inductance and the voltage of the LED light string, and achieves excellent load regulation. LIS9412 integrates high-voltage start-up and high-voltage power supply functions, without the need for start-up resistors or power supply windings. LIS9412 also integrates complete protection functions, including cycle-by-cycle overcurrent protection of input current, open-circuit protection of current detection pin, IC over-temperature regulation function, and short-circuit protection of output terminal, etc.

Good job Sir..
You are not just teaching the basic.. You are teaching how it works..And that is why you are the best...👏👏
Keep on uploading Sir..thank you.always watching from Philippines
best regards and special thanks for your worthy words for my efforts
The best teacher that i ever subscribe here in youtube, i learn electronics a lot from your videos , keep uploading video sir, thank you so much.
Congretulations. Thank you very much. I have a problem with these circuits. İt must be very sensitive nr. of series LEDs ,and current.
I have many ceiling led lamps 32 w, 1m long.,broken. I bought from market these adaptor (100-124V ). When I mount LEDs are blinking. I tried to change capacitors and resistors but I have been unsuccessful. Can you say me something?
I'm impressed at your knowledge and ability to understand so many languages. Thanks for showing!
it is my pleasure

very nice explanation, Thank you. May be you can teach us Chinese also,👍
Simply great!!!! Thank you.
Excellent way of teaching and clearing the basics. Wonderful experience.
Great video sir. I am very amazed with this video. You only not show how thing works, but also showcase your knowledge of different languages.
Excellent explanation. The new Chinese bulbs are even simpler, just the control IC and the LEDs direct to 220v (in my region), no capacitor, resistor or coil.
The great feature of all those type of circuits is their hackability. I have been tweaking the current sensing resistor in all my bulbs at home to reduce to half or less the current. Higher resistor, less current, a lot less heat, less stress on LEDs (they never burn now) and you get a very reduced electrical bill with still a lot of lumens.
This works great for ceiling lamps with many bulbs. Where before I had 3x6watt bulbs, now I have 4x2w modified ones. Less than half wattage.
In there stock form they get very warm. Good to know about the modifications.
Where the sensing resistor in the circuit please?
You make it so easy to comprehend. I'm surprised there is now that simple of a driver device for LED bulbs. That explains how some I've seen are almost as inexpensive as the old incandescent bulb we use to use. 👍
best regards
yes dear i try my best to share the working concept, so that if we understand the working phenomena of any circuit, then we can deal it like a piece of cake otherwise the electronic circuits are jungle
Hello Mr. Haseeb.
I have seen your video and even though it is somewhat chaotic and your usage of the english language is not a 10/10, I must say that it was very informative.
Several other comments also mention qualitive aspects of your content.
Thank you! I might subscribe to the channel.
Wow you explain very well. I had no idea about that circuit and now i understand. Thank u so much.
Very in-depth. Thanks
Eagerly waiting 😊
It's amazing way you are explaining any circuit. We just feel like we are also flowing like current in the circuit.Thank you very much sir.Have nice time ahead.
It's my pleasure

very detailed explanation, especially using data sheets, this is very helpful.
Great job...thanks 👍
Thank You very much!!! Peace and good to You!!!
Thank you too!
You are the best
Very nicely explained. Thanks.
Most welcome!
Nice explanation. Knowledgeable and informative vedeo. Thank you so much.
You are most welcome
Great timing - I just took my spiral LED bulb apart yesterday to see if I could figure out why it failed. Amazingly I have 2 of the same bulbs that failed after 2 years and the boards inside are somewhat different from each other, different LED drivers too ... go figure. I love these bulbs (ANMIEN 120w) but now they are hard to find. 🙁 This is a great explanation of how the circuitry of an LED light bulb works. No more basic lightbulbs 😅 Very interesting lesson nonetheless, thank you!! 🤓 Just curious if there is a way to test the LED driver IC?
Thanks!
special thanks and best regards for your valuable support

Sir I've seen some tutorial videos on smps sortly, where the controller ic got damag as we see sometimes, in the video the tutor shows how we can use an external swithing module and the smps will start working. The module comprises of a controller ic, a switching mosfet and sometime a feedback section as well. One thing that hits my mind is that how one can use such module to power up a dead smps without caring of the switching frequency, like they don't even bother to think about it, just a module connect a couple of wires and it goes. The smps transformer is designed to work on a specific frequency and there's a bunch of calculations while designing it. How it's possible? I want your explanation and request to make a video on this topic. I shall wait for your response. Thanks!
👌👌🌹GOOD TICHING KARTE HO AP THANKS 👌🌹💖😂😆
thanks bhai
Sir, you have explained very very deep theory but i want to know its Purpose and its faults and effects of faulty Driver IC.
thanks, could you make a video of diagnose using oscilloscope please
❤😊
I think freewheel diode should connect after the inductor. You draw before
Sir, let me ask you a question. They put coils on both sides of induction heaters, some call these coils as choke coils. Is the task of these coils there to dampen the reverse emf, kickback spike voltages created by the voltage induced on the heater main coils? I thought it was called choke coil, I thought it was filtering the incoming shocks. Thanks.

Sir i have one doubt op amp I can send ic photo
Yes you can send on 00962-79-5324272
or gmail ashraf4ta4
I don't think there may be any questions after that.
thanks for your valuable words 🙏
I have one. To reduce the current does one decrease or increase the current limiting resistor.
Your are multilingual teacher, you know Chinese language!
