He's straight up biblically wrong when he says that you shouldn't just find the nearest pool of water and be baptized. That's exactly what Philip did to the Ethiopian. That wasn't a public declaration, there was no audience

I believe if you did not know much about the true meaning and nature of baptism or if you did it as a small young child or baby. Then you should get re baptized. JESUS lead an perfect example do it at an older age that you fully understand what you are doing. Its doesn't save you nor condemn you if you do or don't its a pact you make with God. Remember the thief that was next to the cross with Jesus he said " Remember me when you get to Heaven" Luke 23 :43 And Jesus said to him, "I tell you the truth, today you will be with me in paradise."

The problem is that if you are baptized on Pentecostal Church, and then God lead you to a Baptist Church or vice versa, The other church will sometimes require you to be Baptized again. I think the entire evangelical churches needs to resolves that issue.

1:42 he dwells on baptism as a PUBLIC demonstration. In Acts 8, NO ONE was there but Phillip and the unnamed Ethiopian. The only condition was believing with his whole heart - NOT witnesses other than, I suppose, Phillip. This is what drives me crazy about preachers who have an agenda which is clearly NOT teaching the scriptures.

If you get baptised as a child and didn't give you're consent then growing up all you're life not believing in God. One day god leads you to him. Then you live by the word of god like Jesus Christ the best possible then I don't see what's wrong g with getting re baptised.

I love the work David does. But what scripture refrences being baptized inside of a church building? Unless I'm missing something, it appears as if he contradicted himself by saying, "In Acts they were baptized that very hour", then later saying, "Wait till you get to a church building." I'm not trying to be argumentative, I just want to make sure I'm doing the Biblical thing.

That is the wrong thing to do, you can not bribe God with baptism or other good deeds, nor can you punish yourself for repentance.
We have a direct line to the Father, through Jesus Christ who shed His blood for our sin. When you sin, go to Him for repentance, humble yourself and if you genuinely mean it, God will forgive you.
Baptism is a holy institution and I believe it is offensive to the Lord to do it twice; was the first not enough?
I hope you find this helpful, God bless you.

The baptism is a sacrament. In other words it is an act of God, not an act of you. If you wish to demonstate your faith among others, then the easter mass is the place. The congregation defy the deavil aloud, we say YES to the creed, aloud. And to stay on the right path, we repeat this confession every easter.
