I love how many of these super photogenic tornadoes have such a relatively small radius of impact. The fact that you can park just outside this little cell and experience such peace and quiet while simultaneously looking at complete chaos at the foot of that tornado as it moves. Incredible feat of nature.

I remember this as clear as day. On vacation with my family, and we decided to take a dirt road to a cool spot to take some pictures. We were in a minivan, and then all of a sudden this huge storm is almost on top of us. Surrounded by it, it starts hailing, we see a funnel cloud rotating very fast to our right, about 1/4 mile away. We are going 40mph in a minivan on a dirt road in a thunderstorm, very scary experience, but luckily we got out in time.
