You might find yourself asking why Adenine is a knuckle-type blade. Having worked in an actual library, all I can say is... well, just think about that level 4 the next time you consider bringing a book back late.
Adenine was my first blade. She reminds me of Lute from Fire Emblem Sacred Stones and easily became my favorite. Carried me through early game with Nia's launch art and late game hunting with her increase to drops.

She is a fan favorite it just sucks her blade quest is so late.
Stage 5 of Pyra's Lv 1 Special requires the player to defeat birds flying around the World Tree - when you've had Mythra and Greek for quite some time, by that point.
Why'd that have to be a thing? Why not allow us to complete Pyra's Chart in Leftheria?

Adenine is one of the most obscure blades to use for me if ur not using her as offensive support
Specifically- her level three special. The blowdown is absolutely ridiculous and it is certainly amusing whenever I kill countless numbers of UM drivers who all for whatever reason love hanging around high elevation areas
Nothing like doing 16 million damage with Herald's level 1 special against Leonine Sadie with Patroka and Adenine stacking

It's generally the way to go. Rex and Morag only have a couple weapon types they can handle better than Zeke.
Morag only needs a couple tank blades and she will be just fine

@@alexanderharrison7421 I got KOS-MOS after Adenine, but my last two were Akhos and Agate with Agate as my final blade.
Ironically, Adenine was my first.
I got kos mos around 40hrs in at about chapter 7 and was a carry the rest of the way 🤣

Adenine was my 2nd rare blade in my first playthrough and carried me through the first half of the game, best girl no doubt
Adenine is probably my second favorite blade and my favorite female blade I love her in combat and I love her personality
I remember grinding through new game plus and on the world tree I’d constantly be doing blade combos with adenine. Definitely one of my favorite blades
Adenine reminds of Velma from Scooby-Doo so much, kinda like in that quirky and nerdy sort of way, I love it.

One of my all time favorite blades. I paired her with Zeke and she never left his team.
To be fair, she's quite balanced compared to Patroka. She's a really good option for non DLC players in case you are struggling against Benf, Tyrannotitan and Ophion. Just make sure you fight with Dagas and QTPi and pretty much you're hitting gold. The fact you can combine Adenine with Patroka, Dagas and Elma in a fight feels really unfair for some enemies. If you also combine that with DoT then just imagine the fun.

Glad to see you're still pumping out helpful Xenoblade Chronicles 2 content! Can't tell you how much I appreciated it when I did my first playthrough over a year ago. I still gotta try out the evasion Mythra since I recall you saying it's a lot better than crit heal. A bit sad that, comparing that video to the newer ones, the thumbnail quality has tanked, but if that's the sacrifice that must be made, then so be it.
I love adenine! I like how she has that sarcastic comment when you engage her, something like "I'll sort this out because you losers are obviously incompetent!" - also I got her blade quest weirdly early. I like her a lot!
You just leave this to me, I'll use my brains to put this team to good use

I loved Addie! Her personality really resonated with me. Knuckle claw blades made for quick combos and and I loved em' for it! Man this game's battle system was awesome!

Adenine is 1 of my first blades so i feel more attached to her she has a cool design i like her lines im combat and when shes doing field skills and thankfully she doesnt get outclassed by patroka so she has a legit use

Glad to see one of my favorite Blades is also useful practically! I drew her really early and instantly latched onto her design, and I really like her character from what I've played of her optional scenes and such too. I feel even more justified in using her constantly!

This is an interesting guide! I think I'll have to think about using her in contexts where there are elemental weaknesses more.
It does make me think a bit, though, considering you've got all these good guides for individual blades, would you make a guide for how to approach team building as a whole, both from which of the multiple blades a character might have to put on that character at the same time, to how you approach how the blades on different members interact with each other, to even figuring out which blades to not put on different members because then the AI does stuff that you don't want (like Rex switching to pyra in a blade combo when I want foresight...) and how to navigate getting around the AI generally.
Anyway, these are some ideas that I've been wondering.

@@Ryodraco Ah, thanks for reminding me. Still though, since he's doing all the blades more formally, I think doing the drivers after would be a great addition. I'd also like to see him dive into some weird weapon kits, like the niche strengths of Morag's cannon kit. It'd just be fun to watch some unorthodox driver setups!

I'm playing this game for the first time. I got Adenine at the beginning of chapter 6 on Zeke and when I saw she was a healer I was frustrated that I had her on the wrong driver. Now that I see this video, I'm glad I was wrong.

Does Adenine have to be active in the battle for the elemental weakness skill to apply? Or does it apply as long as she's equipped to a driver?
First rare blade I got and it took forever to max out her skill tree. Since you always have those common blades with you in your example I would like if you made a new an improved video about common blades, how and why to use them and what to look out for and what weapons do what and so on. I believe common blades are very misunderstood and I'm very confused about them even after looking at your videos.

Hi there! Just got my Adenine to Trust S. I used alot of the trust raising pouch items (around 200-300) but her Trust won't raise from S to S1. I'm a little bit worried here thinking I did something wrong or missed something. Does her trust just jump from S to S+?
Of course the one gacha blade I don’t have (minus kos mos) has a skill that makes it easier to get core crystals
You can get treasure sensor for poppi qt and whenever she smashes an enemy with dented shield, they will drop double the loot
There’s also a core chip that adds the increased item drop rate to a blade’s weapon (which can be stacked along with Adenine’s skill as well)
With gold chips from Vampire Bride Marion, treasure sensor on Poppi, and a way to perform the entire driver combo, you can smash a really high level monster (my go-to is Relentless Arduran) and literally just run around and grab the item drops. Rex and Tora are probably the best party members for doing it because between the two of them they have the full driver combo with QT pi and Pyra and Roc.
Rex and Nia are other good options for knuckle claws right

I seen/heard different answers to this question, so I'll just ask you, the expert.
When you mention critical modifiers on Specials, are they additive or multiplicative? That is, if a Special has a 60% modifier, does it add 60% flat critical rate, or does it multiply the current crit chance by 60%?
On the topic of critical hits, how much does Max Affinity boost it by again?

Adenine is pretty good, it's a shame she isn't the most useful blade out there. Her quest is locked behind the World Tree, and Patroka outclasses her in the main role she has. Plus, you aren't normally keeping track of elemental matchups in the main story, so she's mostly relegated to postgame (when Patroka becomes available). However, she's still a solid blade, despite her restrictive requirements.
I haven't gotten a straight answer on this though, do Fatal Blow and Battle Wisdom stack together? I wouldn't be surprised if they don't, or if their stacked effect is inferior to other damage multipliers/additives, but I'm just curious.
I see you employ the tactic of only giving party members 1 blade so you can control what they do
Once again, how would I improve her? funny enough, this is one Blade whose skills dont really need tweeking, maybe only Elemental Wisdom making it AOE but with a lower % (yes, I would give her 2 AOE skills since her initial is not fight related) maybe 30%~40%
aside from that, I think giving LV4 special an effect would be all it needs, but I have 2 options, making it the same as LV 3 or try to come with a new one I tough based on her personality... the thing is, I dont think I would make unique effects all that often for specials, so what I can think is making it have again LV3 copy effects, or in her traits, making it a LV4 with Orb Master, since its the effects I kinda know its close to her personal trait
edit: tough I just tough of a mod for the claws Tachyon Chip effect and that effect in general, instead of being 25% chance for the auto attack to hit twice (this is not XB1 so there is not main auto attack DPS character) I would make it 10% Haste (all actions speed up, cap at 25%) & 15% chance to Double Attack after any attack (basically increase damage delt by 50%, the activation would looks like a shadow is mimicking your actions and dealing half your damage, but would not appear on specials, tough the second number appearing after each hit would)

i'm playing through this game first time and just arrived in chapter 3 at the point where Pyra is gone, and Rex only has crappy blades so i decide to use a rare crystal and 3 empathie thingys and BAM got her. That's why i'm here because i don't know what to do with her xD

Wait, how's that possible? She literally introduces herself when you awaken her and on top of that her driver will say her name when you switch to her in battle. Confused confusing confusion.
@@XSaebaYRyoZ I got her pretty early on Zeke and honestly remember him and herself saying "Ade-nine" (as in 9) and not A-de-nin like Enel does. I verified afterwards but I clearly remembered them saying it this way. It's so weird that I didn't remember correctly. This is some Mandela effect stuff
All good, I still don't understand how you got it wrong the whole game though. If you used her on a regular basis and did her side quest they just keep saying her name. Maybe you didn't use her very much and didn't do blade quests.

Adenine, QTpi, and Patroka sounds like an insane party against cloud sea ken because of the full driver combo and the elemental weakness buff being even stronger

Does Adenine's treasure skill increase the rate of gold drops from enemies? If so it at least does SOMETHING, technically, since it helps Sheba out. Maybe a LITTLE niche, but still something.
