Flamingo land needs to sort out its que mangement and operations. I visited on a school trip recently and the ques weren't full of people but they took a minium of an half hour or 2 hours for the lost river ride.
Boris Studios I’ve just got back from flamingo land and I agree with the lost river but as the person said in the Q buster place he said it’s quite busy as it’s really popular during the night and the afternoon

Lapbars on the Colossus clone would be a dream come true - I can cope with the roughness of the ride itself, it's just the constant head-bashing that kills me!
That final overbanked turn on Mumbo Jumbo looked a lot smoother on that POV than it usually does
When it was my sisters first time on cliffhanger she was scared and when it stops for the photo my dad said something along the lines of “let go and do thumbs up for a photo” so she did and as soon as she let go it shot up into the sky 😂 she screamed so much and i think she might have cried a bit

Fun fact: dino roller used to be called the dragon and I think it was my first ever coaster I went on when I was about 6 years old. We used to go to flamingo land every year at Easter for a week. Family knew it was my favourite and got me excited by saying are you going on "the draaaaagonnn!" Happy memories, loved this vlog, I need to get back here. On another note me and my sister are off to pleasure beach in 2 weeks 😀

Went here 3 years ago and loved it, especially the bike roller coaster

They went to pleasure island in cleethorpes (before it shut down)

I used to go to Flamingo Land every September weekend as a child! It’s funny watching this because Flamingo land is like a completely different park now! Miss the corkscrew, terroriser, the bullet, magnum force, wild mouse and thunder mountain! Great childhood!
Something about the ‘engine humming’ sort of noise that comes from velocity gives me so much nostalgia and I love hearing it every time I go

The Intamin coaster that Flamingo Land has supposedly bought is a 10 Inversion Rev. B coaster, which is a clone of Altair for example (and it has lap bars)! :D
The UK already has Colossus, surely this isn't true?
@@kryn1030 The UK has many cloned coasters. Not only that, this is larger in scale, has a re-profiled first drop and lapbars, so it will feel much different.
It is indeed, very interesting choice!
That seems a little disappointing to me but I do trust Intamin and the lap bars will probably make a lot of difference, so I'll be optimistic.
You guys all need to see it from a different perspective.
Thorpe Park and Flamingo Land a far away from each other so it doenst really matter. Only enthusiasts like us will get to ride both of them. Most of the Normal visitors (GP) wont be able to ride both. So its one of the best choices they could've done.
I was there Easter Sunday and a ride operator told me in so many words as much as he could it is true there is a new coaster on it's way I can't wait x

The rumours for the rollercoaster are true because I went for a week last Saturday and they have all of the track and they are building it. It is called Inversion!

As much as the Intamin model is an off-the-shelf layout, it will be nice to see a larger coaster that looks more permanent rather than the compact style of Hero and Mumbo Jumbo!

Off we go! Loving the on-ride goodness. And re-rides! Loving even more having Charlotte along. Everything is more fun with braids! And so it isn't the most beautiful, magical or well -run theme park in Europe. At least it's expensive.

The spot behind lost river has been rumoured for years is to be the location for their woodie if it ever comes....

Been working here for a few seasons on rides, appreciating seeing an honest insight from the other side... Lot I can learn on how to better present me own side to help you folks have a better day, especially in the more unfortunate sides
Hero is BRUTAL
Seeing this, makes me realise how much I need to revisit Flamingo Land when it’s next open. I live nearby, so it’s not too far, but I haven’t been since last summer. And when I went, I was still quite bad at rides - I’ve gotten much better after visiting places like Lightwater and Disney + Universal.
Also, I hope Cliffhanger doesn’t move to Scarborough South Bay., as it will probably stick out and be seen for miles. As a local, the massive tower will stick out like a sore thumb, compared to the relatively small building surrounding it

Good rides but the theming is awful it needs more trees and anything that will make it look more presentable, it just looks like a load of rides in a field, it need more rock work or something to give the park more texture if you know what I mean.

Looked very cold xx I live in Scarborough and I really hope that they move cliffhanger to Scarborough I think it will bring people to our lovely seaside town but I agree flamingo land in expensive also if you come back to flamingo land check the local radio websites Yorkshire coast or York based ones they sometimes have offers on xxx

I remember riding hero when I came to flamingo land last time and it broke down because it started raining and the roller coaster runs on senses so the roller coaster stopped. So me and my friend was sat there for like half and hour waiting for the rain to stop, to be honest I don’t know why the couldn’t of just let us out of the carts but it was very painful🤣

the intamin 10 looper that's rumored to go there was originally purchased by a park called Hopi Hari here in Brazil in 2012, but then the park went into financial trouble and couldn't build it, the coaster was kept in storage until it was sold to another park in Malaysia in 2017, then that park couldn't built it either due to restrictive height laws in the area, so the coaster was actually never "used", I bet they got a pretty good deal buying it...

Nice vlog, the SLC in flamingo land looks actually pretty good, and smoother compared to the basic model. I think it's sad that SLC's are unsmooth, they look pretty cool.
