I'm the operator that was on Hero. It has been super temperamental and I'm sorry for being kinda awkward but it was so lovely to meet you and of course have a bit of fun with you since we all know it isn't your favourite ride.

I’m sorry but who on earth designed those dreadful coaster trains. I’m with Shawn on this and would Class it as the UK’s worst and most uncomfortable coaster ride. It’s awful to look at it’s awful to ride sorry!
I'm 29 now but i remember spending a week of my summer holidays a few times at flamingo land as a kid with my big family. My happiest memories as a kid are definitely there. I remember magnum force, bullet, terrorizer and even flamingo star. Honestly i feel a bit of a beautiful sadness watching this because i'm older and things never stay the same but i cherish those memories so much and this video has reminded me of so much. So thank you!

Some great family coaster rides at this park, (with the exception of Hero). Looking forward to to the mighty ten inversion coaster opening. Unusual to have a family bakery situated inside the park but it does look popular. Nice vlog Shawn and Charlotte keep up the good work 👍

I went to flamingo land not to long ago and the colour scheme is AWSOME for a sec I thought it was hero 😂😂😂 I can’t wait to ride it!

I did a zookeeper experience here at flamingo land, it ended at 4pm so we go free access to the park for 1 hour. We went on velocity, mumbo jumbo and kumali. had a great day

Great Vlog Shawn, always love watching your vlogs and you and Charlotte sharing your experiences with us. Been a viewer since your Thorpe park vlogs back in 2014, Being a creative artist and fashion designer as a student At University of the arts London Central Saint Martins, I have been inspired by the immense variety of Coasters and the world of theme parks pretty much since I had my first experience on SAW in 2015. I am incredibly drawn to the visual idea of roller coasters and what they serve in terms of the characteristics of the tracks, drops, inversions, components and the vast quality of theming and imagination. I am particularly fascinated by the language and intelligence you have towards your knowledge of coasters and constantly impressed the content you produce. Personally I have only visited Thorpe Park, legoland windsor tivolii Phantasialand, once. Only having a small taste of what the world has to offer but one of my dreams is to visit Alton Towers and Experience the world famous coasters there but to honest I just want to travel the globe and visit them all! Japan, US, and many more. Hopefully after I graduate,

I visited the park today and everything was open and also walk on! The employees allowed us to stay on the trains and they sent us again. I ended up getting 4 rides on pretty much everything we could and got £95+ worth of rides (added up using your tally from last year's vlog). We even managed to fit in all of the shows, an hour of the zoo and an hour to eat because of these short queues. Well, to be fair, schools went back today in this area, but still an amazing day.

Nice combo park with the zoo and theme park mix. Not the caliber of Bush Gardens but beautiful park. Yes the pirate show was more exciting when they had the stunts and acrobatics . Hero looked very painful. The plus is that they had a lot of family coasters . The dark could be better with a full story line from beginning to end with interactive lighting and effects . Thanks for what you do. I would have liked to have seen the water ride open.

I have read online that flip flop might be reopening in summer as they failed to sell it. Really hope I can get back on this ride. I really enjoyed the water features and theming. Would be good to have this thrill ride open again!

It’s certainly improved this year
I cant ride that lost river rive anymore, we were sat in the second from last row, it had just opened (later in the day) and we were first to ride! Great we thought! After the main drop, suddenly I heard screams from the row behind, and my husband had a spider the size of a tarantula on his back crawling up his neck. None of us could get off the ride quick enough, as a bloke managed to wack it off him and it fell on the floor. I queued the following time we were there and just couldnt get on it! lol

For the rest a great family park where kids have just as much fun as they would have on their bigger brothers and sisters like Disney and Efteling. 29 entrance fee (34,5 euro) for so many good rides and less waiting time than mentioned parks. Some really nice coasters. Hope they will invest in a couple of darkrides Hope you got a good massage after your last ride.

Hi Shawn and Charlotte I hope you are having a good day at flamingo land I going to flamingo land later this year and I do hope the new rollercoaster is ready we are thinking of going in August i injoyed my trip to Thorpe park what a great theme park the swarm was my favourite ride of the day the themeimg was great and the ghost train was excellent it made me jump
It was a great day!
One for your other channel but if you want to see some friendly goats, you need to go to Pomeroy farm in the Peak District. You can even buy feed for them, went the other day and two kids (goat kids) had escaped and were making friends with everyone. Definitely recommend! It's a small family run caravan and camping site, they have a cow milk vending machine and homemade ice cream, lovely little place to visit.

Good to see the old high Sierra ride from my local park the American adventure is still in operation it doing well it ran for the full 20 seasons the aa was open bet u rode it when you visited when you was young

Seems like a much better visit than last one in 2021 where the park looked a bit depressing. Inversion is going to be a massive ride for them, but they need to get rid of Hero though, that thing just looks nasty.

thanks for another great vlog from one of my two local parks shawnand charlotte, love the "get me to cooplands bakery" comment xD, definatly a plus considering the price of some theme park food across the uk. However last time I rode the dreaded HERO, I acutally got a bruised shoulder and was in pain all day absolutly disgusting ride -.-
The bakery is absolutely amazing and more parks definitely need one! Hero is absolutely awful!
The worst dark ride in the Uk is at Gulliver’s Warrington, the princess ride, that’s an absolute shocker.

I've not been to Flamingo Land for a few years I think I will definitely take a trip when the new coaster opens though, that will mean Alton Towers and Flamingo Land this Summer....already got my Alton Towers booked!

Flamingo land could easily be the best park in the uk if it gets more rides here and flat rides I think but Funny happy guy this kid and his head is funny too a bit like a spitting image character off tele from years back but he's definitely the best coaster man on CZcams I enjoy watching Alton towers for me on the 5th cant wait
Great vlog, been visiting Flamingoland since I was very young (I’m 46 now) and it’s changed so much, with a very oddball selection of rides. I even got to try the Schwarzkopf Drier Looping (Magnum Force) and The Bullet when they were there way back when … and I think … I think there was an Intamin Flight Trainer where Pterodactyl now is. I don’t like the latter - physics suggests that the whole tower spinning like that shouldn’t work - it must be under a lot of strain, albeit it must be safe. Still feels unsettling when 100 odd feet up! The park just feels like the big version of the tunnel on Air (refuse to call in that other name, like when they renamed Marathon bars ‘Snickers’!) … a park with potential and great rides but overall feels unfinished. But maybe the new coaster will give the park the injection of income it needs …

Looks improved from last years vlog.
I can remember going here on my holidays as a kid 20 years ago, then the big rides used to be The Bullet, Terroriser, Thunder Mountain, Wave Machine, Corkscrew. Things have changed so much and good to see investments into new and bigger rides.
The classic days were great!
Tidal wave was the best!
If they just sped up that mystery manor ride and added louder audio/lighting it would be a fab asset to the park.

If Blackpool were to get rid of Ice Blast, I hope we would get a shot and drop tower as I love the view from Ice Blast, it's just a little weak.
