- Tractor/Truck Pulling Fails/Breakage Compilation 2020
In the world of truck and tractor pulling things don't always go as planned. Fails and Breakage are inevitable in this form of motorsport. This year we didn't see as many thrills and spills, because of all the cancellations, pulls were few and far between a lot of the time. However, there was one standout incident when a John Deere tractor literally blew up and sent parts (including pistons) raining down. That was pretty spectacular. Thankfully nobody was seriously injured at any shows that I filmed. It's become a yearly tradition for me to put together a special video, dedicated to showcasing what happens, when pulling goes wrong. I present to you the 2020 edition of Tractor/Truck Pulling Fails/Breakage Compilation!! Thanks for all your support this year! Can't wait to get the 2021 season started!
I recorded this video footage during OSTPA, PPL, IPL shows and more throughout the year. Enjoy!

I appreciate the fact that you don't immediately point your camera at the ground when a catastrophic explosion occurs.
Random unscheduled engine dissasemley is a beautiful thing when it's not your engine 😂
Emphasis on when it's NOT your engine, heh!
Very true, gotta feel for these guys.
True!! I’ve unfortunately witnessed a lot of these while attending pulls, and it’s quite expensive!!!
Thats why i use medium octane low lead 20% ethenol fuel and high end parts abd heavy duty lines
I personally use a mid priced high pressure turbo cooling system and a radiator between $1000 and $10'000
I love how that first John Deere spat it's pistons out into orbit, and you could hear the crankshaft and conrods clattering as it wound down.
Ssssuttutu
Next thing u know, its raining piston heads!
The fact you didn't flinch when the engine came out of that tractor at 0:25 is impressive.
Stutuutut
He learned from the time a couple years back when a drive shaft fucking detonated
@@CharizardMaster69 For real? (I believe it could happen! But he's got experience with that?) Edit: OH! The camera-man! Yeah, that makes sense.
Tripod work
I'm flinching at almost every pull.
On that John Deere pull, could they get a smaller fire extinguisher. Maybe next time they'll just bring a cup of water out.
😂😂
Oh man that John Deere tractor that launched the engine out had the most prefect name “Hammered”
The weather changed also to raining nuts & bolts
That's what I call "career ending"
Lol no kidding. Guess that's one way to get a blow off sound 🤣
Great big fire, itty bitty fire extinguishers
I think a few pistons said hi to Pluto
"How much power do you want on your tractor?"
"All of it."
2:35. A real sore neck after that run.
i died from laughter lol
105👍's up CR thanks again for taking us all along with you for the great show
Good stuff! I Appreciate your channel and content. Grew up going to these events .. It’s an absolute blast! 🇺🇸 🍻
2:38 is why i'm surprised these guys don't run full containment seats or possibly even head and neck restraints. His head moved a ton.
Hes out cold, he's completely unconscious.
Intelligence and forethought ain’t these people’s strong suit.
@@zatchbell622 Why would that be?
@@Corky3D Because tractor pulling is a really unsophisticated motorsport. These people aren’t big fans of “Big Government” safety regulations or frankly being told what to do in general. You need only see the KAG flags to understand the personalities of these people.
@@zatchbell622 GTFOH.... MANY sports are the same way. Just because someone drives a pulling vehicle doesn't automatically mean they are less intelligent than anyone else. Your thought about this sport is ridiculous, stereotypical, and completely wrong.
@2:45 "YOU GOT KNOCKED THE F**K OUT, MAN!"
Chuck’s I saw this video 6-8 months ago & have been watching for it again ever since the first JD is amazing.
It’s worth watching again just for that 1st 2-3 minutes simply amazing.
1:00......fantastic....extraordinary ...!!! great job !! keep up ...
Great compilation 👍
3:48 who gave the tractor taco bell again?
Good job with the editing. Some get to leaving to much extra stuff and that makes them hard to watch. This was just right, covered the good stuff and on to the next.
Outstanding content!
Ol’ Steve Boyd sure got his bell rung😬 ouch!! Looked like he was knocked out!!!
He was out cold and looked bad after they got his helmet off, like he'd been in a day long boxing match. I question how many more years he will be at it.
He broke his wrist I believe, but stayed to watch at least some of the show afterward.
I think the modified, and unlimited modified guys should look into the HANS device, and maybe some inner roll cage padding. 10,000+ horsepower ain’t no joke!!!
@@ChucksPullingVideos tough ol boy 💪
Yet again the CZcams algorithm has brought us all here
So many pistons wanting to see the world in this video
Oh that thing is really...............Hammered!
Best style points for the shower of broken parts, the torrent of oil out the side, and clanking of metal as it spins down.
The Real Beast Power!!! O.o awesome!
That green one at the beginning still managed to drive itself away without any pistons...pretty awesome!!
Man those jet engine tractors scare the shit out of me even though it's probably safer than an engine ejecting itself lmao.
An incredible video. 💙 T.E.N.
Hammered got it's name spot on.
great video mr. russell love to see sh**t tore up
When those engines have had it, they sure HAVE it..... 😬
Production costs behind this video may have been in the millions.
100%
I know nothing at all about this type of motorsport, but it is absolutely amazing that the front tires at 2:55 are able to handle that type of weight
The goal of the sport is to make as much power as possible for 30 seconds or so without things exploding, lol.
that second one, gives new meaning to the term "blown motor" LOL
Destruction comes in many forms. And these clips prove it.
Why do I find it so funny when they drop their weights😂😂😂
"wait i am an diesel engine. Dont rev me over 6500 rpm"
Driver rev up to 15000 rpm.
The engine "okay, i am outta here..."
And find new owner
0:24 i mean you can say the tractor literally went out with a bang
Love the third one spraying part numbers all over the track lol
It got hammered indeed... How to look into every engine component in a second.
@ 0:25, slow it down and try to count the number of pistons that you can see ejecting from what's left of the engine block. I counted 5 out of the 6.
My reaction was 'Oh sh!+' then I couldn't stop laughing when the marshals came out with what looked like bug spray for the fire.
I counted 6. One of them hit the fender and went flying towards the rear.
0:23 That tractor really got hammered! :D
"Hammered"... Naah... Hone it, New set of rings, some Stop Leak...Back in the game for the next round
"How much boost can the engine take?" Apparently enough to boost it right into orbit!
8:45 my man managed to keep the door shut in such situation 😁🤣
Like the crashes in NASCAR, you know people come here for the spectacular engine fails more than they do anything else! How often do you get to see something like that explode? And it's not something you need to worry about replacing?!
3:22 The only man you'll ever see at a tractor pull wearing a pink shirt.
That green tractor at 27, maybe able to get it running agin if they find all the parts?
01:20 Well this is now Hammered...
Amazing soapboxe race
Wow.....those drivers sure got lucky!!!
Those john deare tractors sure do blow up perty.
And this is why I still run in the pro farm class lol!
hola muy bueno video me gustó mucho
Loved watchin Tim and the alcoholic harvester him holding that door on the hood shut with his foot👍👍 that’s a wheel man right there 💪 even if he was driving a red one still hella good driving
@0:51 Would it kill anyone to head to Walmart and get a few actual fire extinguishers?
They were probably using febreeze
Nah they're spraying for bees
This is the most American motorsports ever
Final moments of very strong beasts.
RIP.

When you got 4 Jet Engines Pushin to where your Sitting… Its Only a Matter of Time before a Concussion 🤕 Happens! 😂
Dude in the green was a bobblehead lmaooooo
Wonder how many times the expression "ayyyyzzzzz issss OL BOY UP THA HOWSSSS" was spoken during all this
Could they do a forged in fire episode with this? ‘Look around at the parts on the track; make sure you use high carbon steel’.
What's in the little spray cans they use on the fires in the first clip?
0:25. That was spectacular!!!
9:27 For Sale: Chevy Silverado 4x4. Low miles, diesel, regularly maintained, mainly used for hauling. Has light engine tick.
Engine has been removed. Can be used for paperweight... easily holds down 50,000 papers.
You forgot adult driven, never abused 🤣
@@theangrytruckerchannel359 Never smoked in!
Cool vid!
Can someone please ELI5 why the front wheels bow inward?
I'm wondering if they show this on national television when they televise tractor pulling
they do
I remember seeing it on Lucas Oil “On the Edge”
In the netherlands they do
Dropping parts is a disqualification, does that hold true for a engine failure or drive shaft hitting the ground???
I dont remember how that rule goes. I think i depends on how much hits the ground or how bad it is
@@Trenton-om9qs 😆
might depend on how long it takes for the engine to come down
If you are losing parts, you ain't having a good pull anyway😅🤣
Well, he was hammered for definitly....
Throwing coin right their .. cheers cob ❤🙏🍺
It's always interesting when the hitch breaks.
Cheapest fail
“No disassemble, tractor 4450 is aliveeee” oops, no I’m not. I came across this video in my recommended list, don’t know why but here I am, these “tractors” must cost a fortune to put together and they do look great as well, but for me, apart from the failures, I don’t think tractor/truck pulling is a hobby/sport I would choose to put so much money, time and effort into, but I did enjoy this compilation, thanks for sharing.
I went to a truck pull in Hillsboro Mo there was a 40 chevy truck that blew up about half track and it shot rods and pistons about 2 foot into the ground they had to dig them out with shovels
Someone forgot to check the oil in the deere🤣
Are we gonna talk about the 4 engines on two golf cart wheels?
You can play 9 holes in 15 minutes.
Nope. Guess not.
those wheels are in the air the whole time
I get a kick out of watching these expensive toys blow up. 😀
0:25 Engine has left the chat.
I like how the people inside the car is like going crazy
2:38, his brains are scrambled
0:26 my phone when i trying to get connect with internet.....
Lots of money, spent on these Machines, not enough on design and practical engineering. Thanks for keeping me entertained.From,St. Paul Minnesota.
They're designed to do one rather impractical thing.
You'd be surprised at just how much engineering does go into one of these machines. It isn't just "throw a big engine in there and go pulling". The determining factor that keeps things in somewhat control of how wild things get, as far as ingenuity goes, is the rulebook. It determines just how far one can go in modifying the machine for the class that it is in. The whole point of that is to try and keep the playing field level, so that the guy with the biggest checkbook can't just continue to buy wins with exotic stuff that not everyone can afford.
hello fellow saint pauler
2:30 ….that roll cage might have knocked him out. Pinball machine, ouch.
Yeah that didn't look fun
"dayum Cecil he blowed dat sumbich slapup."

“Kaboom?”
“Yes rico, kaboom!”
I love the announcer's sass
0:22 that is insane
@2:43 Almighty god of hadbanging
That was always my fear at a tractor pull is that ,being hit by shrapnel.could happen real easy.
So these guys build these insane HP motors and some are trying to fly down the track when we’ve seen first hand all ya need is torque to win these. So my question is. Does how fast you run down the track really make that much of a difference?
Yes, and here's why. Speed builds momentum, and momentum helps carry the higher HP machines down the track. The sled operator adds more weight to the weight box, and changes gears to tighten the sled up for higher HP machines, so it takes more HP and speed and momentum for the high HP machines to pull further. That's why with some of these you will see the rear wheels spin before they ever come off the line. That wheel speed is helping to build that momentum. If one were to put a high torque/lower HP machine out there with those sled settings, they wouldn't make it very far. The sled is setup different for each class of pulling vehicle also. Hope that helps! That was a good question.
There’s not a tractor built that those sleds can’t stop
Mesin traktor di modif jadi mesin genset joss
That John Deere got cooked
i never thought id see a tucked in pink polo shirt at a truck pull , let alone picking up the busted parts
John Deere always says don't modify the tractor, take it to a dealer.
What with the giant traktor with barrow whell?
Imagine the torque of that quadruple v8 truck.
How much boost were you running?
All of it :(
Exhaust came off twice, dude didn’t run it over that time lol
The tractor were nice ❤
4:02 LOL
I’ve never seen an engine blow up like that, it was like a bomb went off in the top of that engine.
