- Tractor/Truck Pulling Fails/Breakage Compilation 2019
In the world of truck and tractor pulling things don't always go as planned. Fails and Breakage are inevitable in this form of motorsport. This year we saw many thrills and spills. Thankfully nobody was seriously injured at any shows that I filmed. It's become a yearly tradition for me to put together a special video, dedicated to showcasing what happens, when pulling goes wrong. I present to you the 2019 edition of Tractor/Truck Pulling Fails/Breakage Compilation!! Thanks for all your support this year! Enjoy the video.
Video clips from NTPA, WMPullers, PPL, MICHINDOH, OSTPA and more from my recordings this year.

I just love the screamin turbo's

@@MrSupergamer93 yeah exactly lol 😂
@@MrSupergamer93 twin turbskies.
Who doesn't love the sound of screaming turbos
When 98% if these are supercharged or n/a supercharged.
1:14 Kudos to that dude who pulled the cable from the distributor.
Quick thinking right there
2:47 best sound ever
I like how the drivers wearing helmets and racing suits run from the flaming tractor while two guys in short sleeves run to the fire with little fire extinguishers
The thing I’ve noticed most is that people be consistently destroying my beloved International 1066.
Things that happen when you spend $100K on the engine and driveline, but $100 on front end suspension components.
You just gotta love the smell of connecting rod pieces and shredded pistons on the ground in the evening, (but only if they are somebody elses)
They big fool person
Another AWESOME job filming! Best luck to all the teams who experienced catastrophic failures too.
Fan: "How many lbs of boost are you running this thing at?"
Driver: "Yes."
Amehdion “all of em”
I just love those guys running out there with some dinky-ass extinguisher that wouldn't put out a toasted marshmallow.
Yea I'm honestly surprised that there's no fire truck on stand by lol
The foam / powder damages engines/ equipment so they try to minimize quantity to the extent possible.
@Dennis Young that would add extra weight so no.
@Dennis Young I know nothing about tractor pulling & just got sucked into watching these engine failure video's. I'm just speculating based on what I've read in comments. They use aluminum to the extent possible, which probably explains a lot of the engine failures. So I'd assume weight is pretty critical.
I am an engineer & have experience designing industrial facilities for decades so I know something about fire prevention. A "fire suppression" system would have to cover the entire engine/drive train as it looks like the fires don't always originate in the same place, it depends on what fails & where volatile leaking fluid ignites & spreads onto.
Halon or "oxygen depleting" gas (Halon is not legal anymore due to ozone issues but has replacement substances) don't work in "exposed" environments, only in "closed in" spaces such as buildings. I guess these tractors/ trucks are semi enclosed but I'd think the pressure tanks needed to carry the gas are pretty heavy.
Foam is the proper extinguisher medium for diesel. Powder is more for chemicals. Again, foam needs pressure vessels, in fact multiples since it relies on a mix of materials at point of application. So I'd guess again that weight would be an issue.
Again, don't quote me, I'm no expert on tractor pulls, but like I said, I do have experience at industrial engineering / fire prevention & suppression systems, loss prevention, buidling & fire codes.
you dont know much about firefighting do you ?
So nice to see… The drivers in their racing Overalls - and the officials in tshirt and short with the fire extinguisher ...highly professional !!
And they get the fire extinguishers at the dollar store. Obviously safety isn't even on the priority list. And let's make the hood impossible to open so the fire can really do it's job.
Haha 😄😄😁
The tractor fails are more exciting than the complete pull. The fans must go for the explosions.
I’d say so, I do. It’s really nice to see the ancient tractors do a pull, too. Nice to see the longevity! Always enjoy seeing the occasional Oliver, too, they’re super rare.
just like Nascar
Отличная подборка мужик!!!!

Front wheels- IGHT IMMA HEAD OUT
Xxxdddd
Charles Russell This video is Awesome Keep up the great work!
I just love that announcer that always goes "Holy macaroni, check it out boys!" 😂
@Joseph Marton ohh you fuckin candy ass smfh
Ye'ha been watin on this!
These are so fun to watch lol
I cant believe the lack of safety devices and fire suppression on these monster's! These guys have balls of steel! Stay safe gentlemen
Yes but no
Adrenalin is very fun
Actually there's a difference between balls of steel and little between your ears.
i wish i had cool friends like this.
1:15 the dude wearing the fire suit runs away while the guys in tee shirts run in
The sleds from CNY/Southern PA are called The Decision Maker. Cool to see all the different names.
Good Old Mayhem. Thanks for filming and putting it together. 👍🏻👌🏻😎
boy that one at 2:40 in the video sure blew chunks , literally ,Beyond Limit
Fuckin s!!ky high
another great video
An excellent video. ♡ T.E.N.

Absolutely no one:
Hillbillies: yes I think this is a good idea
Sunshine -ish for some reason this is funny to watch LOL
I feel like most of the fires are caused by redlining still crazy to watch I hope there will be more action next year can’t wait
if in doubt flat out
👍's up guys thanks for taking us along with you
Somebody needs to bring in a 100 HP antique steam tractor and show them how it is done! I have seen one at a local tractor pull and it was quite quiet and hilarious!
How did it do.
@@pizzaplanettruck9761 There's a video of one basically pulling it all the way to the end without even stopping
@@pizzaplanettruck9761 It shut every gas/diesel tractor down. It had to stop when it reached the end of the course. NONE of the other tractors made it that far!

Gave a whole new meaning to slow and steady wins the race.

It also would be great to see a hot bulb tractor like a Lanz Bulldog or Bolinder-Munktell try it
3:50, that ol' boy just won himself a concussion.
NGL feel bad for the guy but i died when his drive shaft just plopped out so slowly and casually like ight im done LOL
DethroneKing MMA whats that time stamp
Very good tractors 🎈
Based on only ever having watch this single video, there seems to be only rule 1. You can have as much power as you like but you can only use stock cooling capacity. Fun idea!
Looks that way don't it
And standard oil pumps !
Cooling is largely a non factor the engines are underload for less than a minute or two. Ive seen 18 wheeler engines, detroits run 10-15 minutes without cooling before they locked up or blew up.
Exciting!
Never seen a Chevy go cross eyed before 😄
It get me how they keep on the throttle even know their engine is blowing white smoke or on fire. Lmoa😂😂
Just gotta send it!
Amen brother
BOOM!!!.. huge fireball!!
Awesome video
A lot of great fails
Expensive hobby!
2:21 looks like the 4th of July!!!
Dang. Good stuff. I have never seen them blow their engines. Going to one tomorrow night.
Did you catch the Covid?
I’m always amazed by the amount of track workers that run/jog like old disabled people

12:36 henry county fair napoleon ohio. was just there for their pulls last night! awesome lol knew id see one clip from us in there somewhere ;)
hola que buen video
Lets put the smallest tires on the front we can find !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GOOD IDEA
Darren Schneider no bad idea
Yep totally wont kill me!!
It's for more down pull
Most tractors with small tires up front are meant for hay only, and the tiny, angled tires help with sharp turns!
It isn’t always the best idea though, since the rear wheels take the show. 🤣
Imagine just minding your own business at a car event then 4:08 BRUH they shootin!
Hey Google that was cool
13:43 "oooofffff"
Lol
wild!
247th! AND PROUD OF IT!
Budget is tight, but a $5 fire extinguisher toy!
@2:24 holy smokes, Fire Works!!!
If i ever went to a pull id be bored, youtube has me under the impression that every run something breaks or blows up.
Usually the case, OR, people go to see older tractors from the ‘50s and ‘60s pulling a sled. It shows longevity and durability!
Damn, those smaller ones that look like old Top Fuel dragsters are...adventurous.
7:38 lemme do da full pull ftw
Those little tractors with massive V8' look scketchy as hell... Who approved that?
It’s not like they’re commuting to work with them…
They build them themselves, no one has to really approve anything
10:20 me after I eat taco bell
Game over
I think a couple connecting rods blew lol
17:14 - NO, They said FEATHER The Clutch, Not DUMP the Clutch!!!
I’d say a good 50% of those catastrophic failures are from the tires leaving the ground. Liquids and all. Not to mention the minis.
Hello wheel my old friend I come to search for you again 😂
I've always wondered can these tractors actually farm like pull a plow
The tires are not made for field work but in power wise yes
Ok thats what i thought but i wasnt sure thanks 😊
No problem
“Say wheres the plow?”
“Oh Jim brought his pulling tractor so he’ll be done in... 4 seconds.”
Lol
That ain’t opportunity knocking!
hey thats posted on my birthday!
The Good Lord took a likin’ to ‘em and blew ‘em up real good.

Why do these things always have guys that don't know what they're doing in control of a fire extinguisher? It's like they find the dumbest dude possible and ask if he "ever wanted to be a fireman when he grew up?"
Ummm I suppose you do ?
Che bello
That is the money shot video right there just you get videos of tractors engine exploding you can you get there a lot of viral videos
9:46 look at that toe angle
All of these people running stock trucks in 4WD / low range ALWAYS blow their damn tie rods / steering racks. It’s almost guaranteed lol. 🤦♂️
@@EstorilEm lol yeah i thought maybe its to keep it straight but thats definitely broken
Aww bless en they get all confused with left and right and the big round thing they are holding
Amazed with all that blubber as ballast they get the wheels off the ground
@12:17 ripcord goes hole hunting, succeeds!
You'd think some of these guys would invest in hans devices. I sure some of them got whiplash
The marshals are quick on their feet? lol
I see one heck of a lot of money going up in smoke. WOW!!
Just like drag racing. lol
These people are rich. They rebuild then do it all over again.
@@TheRealAwesomePossum Trust me, they are not as rich as ya think.
My grandpa was the one announcing in the first clip!
You must be one awesome dude then.
Where’s the onboard fire extinguishers like other race classes run. Half these guys running in with fire extinguishers have no idea how to use them.
Surely this would save them more work in the long run.
I wouldn't even call some of these spray paint can sized things extinguishers, unless maybe you're trying to extinguish the candles on a 5 year olds birthday cake...
And oh yeah, they don't even have proper fire protection gear on either.
More wheels falling off. Good ole American engineering
these tractors are way over specs. and ramped up to the max and nothing will hold this amount of power
@@cc9z Thanks Donny, at least you took the trouble to reply! Of course I understand, however it does seem that many of the ones with smaller front wheels are a disaster waiting to happen. IMHO only. More power to you.
The small wheels are more for show
These are million dollar toys
I LOVE THIS SHIT!!
i dont understand, i have heard that engine was going out in half of the blowups. Why they dont stop im sure they could heard that too
They ain't quitters - they're trying to win!
You don't stop until they shut you down
@@dirtbikeguy05 ' do you know how expensive those motors are?! its easier to replace parts than the entire engine that way. also those teams don't even have that kind of money to waste on engines. DUH!!!
@@jackmagnium6115 you would be amazed at how many fails they have just developing the engines. Its an expensive hobby.
4:32 I thought "I hope the driver is out" and then came... 😁
Man that was weird. As if the announcer was reading my mind.
i love how many dodges blew up
Looks like them mini modifieds would have a bar coming off the frame 2 ft on each side behind the front axle to keep them from turning over like that.
NOPE!!! When they start One-Wheeling, a Bar would just be Something Else to Dig in and Make the Flip WORSE!!!
Looks like all of the NTPA Officials need some serious fire training.
Serious question, how would you counteract the bouncing that makes these tractors flip?
Throttle control… when you’re coming down you’ve got to throttle up quick to avoid the hit. If you need steering then you NEED to touch the ground for a second to change direction ; it’s a really tricky balance from what I understand.
Child: I got a new hobby, tractor pulling!!!!!🚜🚜
Dad:no
It's interesting how few pullers make some sort of setup to help prevent the front end digging in should a tire come off or something else happen.
Most everybody is running with Skids on the Front now. They look like Skis between the Front Tires. A lot of the guys in the Heavier Classes are running with "Airbag" Front Suspensions too.
@@tomcarver1063 Yet there's still so many tractors digging their front ends into the dirt lol I guess "most everybody" are not the people I was talking about. Thanks for the info though, I guess.
Breaking new ground....
