Double 16s are no joke when you start going high with the reps. A lot of people will overestimate their ability with KBs. Those little 16s are the real deal!
My best is 20mins straight at 10rpm and it nearly killed me, im convinced, and i took two days off. Grant it, i wasnt training it regularly but im going back to it starting today, 3x per week with EMOMs to start.
Awesome, around 10 years ago my staple before BJJ class I did 10 mins of snatches straight switching every 10 reps with a 16kg at 43 years old, I am still hard at it, shout out to the older gen, keep it going 💪
What brand are those kettlebells you are using? Cause the yellow ones I see have a hole in the bottom. Also is there a difference with the one with the hole on the bottom vs the one you are using in the video? Thanks I'm advance and I appreciate the videos you make, they are very informative and motivating 💪
These are near vintage Valery Federenko WKC Kettlebells. Almost 15 years old they are solid with a fill. The new bells with a hole are very nice. Either kettlebells USA or kettlebell kings or pro kettlebell prokettlebell.com/online-store?aff=swing
I use belt for KB sport. My reps are usually 24 to 75 per set. Used for endurance and to make my body more efficient t for rack as I cannot reach elbows to hips
Is anyone aware of videos like this that got for the full length of the workout? I’m looking for something I can follow from start to finish and mirror someone
Hello you may want to try some of my live videos some are follow along but I generally don't produce just follow along videos because that means it would be a person that is very close to my capabilities. And that may be you or that may not be you so I like to give people general advice guidelines instead of follow along exactly in certain amounts of time
For very heavy weight or kettlebell sport jerk it's added support. It doesn't do all the work as your torso should be doing as much as it can It is just extra for safety
Love that thunk and clink of the long cycle. I think I could put that on in the background to fall asleep😂

Yep then the 20s then the 24s then the horrible 28s!
Looks like a good all around workout!
Clean and jerk is.
It’s great to see some sport training. Nothing hurts more!
Lots coming.
Interesting take! 12 RPM is tough stuff! Thank for sharing!
Nice to see you here 😄🖐
Thank you, 13 and 14 is way worse hahha
12 rpm SUSTAINED is incredibly taxing.
It took me a month to sustain 10 rpm with 22kg for only 3 minutes
From my last sets had to be 10 minutes at 12 RPM with the 16s That was pretty rough funny 22 kg or my favorite double bells

Thanks!
Aight, this shows me im going too heavy. Need to lower the weights.
Bam
Thank you all
Just watched a video of Bill Maeda in Hawaii (fitprohawaii) on his last minute of a 10 minute set. It does look rough.
Didn't think bill does kb sport. Where is that
Very inspiring to watch man. Any advice on how to get started on kettlebell training if I’ve been mostly bodybuilding for the last 10 years?
Thanks Are you talking about getting into just using kettlebells as a training tool or getting it to kettlebell Sport lifting as seen in this video?
I have beginner and intro stuff at www.kbmuscle.com

I couldnt do this with two tins of beans. 16kg at 12 rpm is mega
😃
Just curious is the belt really needed? Am i at risk if do it with 24kg's and no belt?

@@kettlebellmusclegain this makes perfect sense, thank you!
Of course.
is belt necessary?
All of the best athletes in kettlebell sport use them for jerks and long cycle. It is not NECESSARY as in a rule but it is beneficial.
What is a good starting time duration for beginners. Even 4 mins is challenging
Anything you can really. Rotate between 10x 1 minute , 5x2 min ,3x3 , 2x5, 8 minutes and 10. Loads of stuff.
I’ve seen some of the pros do 1 min on, 1 min off for a bunch of rounds. That might help build it up.
Yep I do that often
What brand belt are you using?
This is a. Elite Fts powerlifting 4 inch belt. But now I have a KB sport specific belt form Bellevator.
@@kettlebellmusclegain thanks, these belts look amazing. Keep up the great content!

@@kettlebellmusclegain safety from which injuries specifically ?
Helps with spinal stability so possibly disc compression issues
