Excellent video my neighbour has a problem with a dodgy charge socket,
i have just got a new socket for him and now you have just explained in
great detail and easy to follow instructions I will now fit it for him with confidence.

I have bought an S4 i have replced the batteries with gel type and cant figure out if the charger is reverse polarity there are no marking to say and the female charging socket seems loose i cant get a reading on my multimete . I will look at your shop forvreplacments Thankou you are brilliant at explaining things. Keith
Usually they are not wired reverse pol. Only the Tga breeze is.
also known as Afikim Breeze in europe.
known problem that is polarity.
the new models no longer have that.
The big Brezze S model still has the reverse polarity in the UK 🇬🇧
What does the inhibit connection do?
Are there actually scooters and wheelchairs that are easier or more difficult to repair than others or are all models the same?
My scooter is a Landlex RS Broadway. Having problem pulling out the pin that holds the battery boxes.
Hi not The best design. Gets rusty very easy. Lean the scooter on its side use lots of wd40 clean with wire brush and use a hammer and a punch to chap the pin outwards. Ever so often use a rubber mallet and chap the pin back home so it will release easier hope this helps.

Hi I have the tga s4 breeze gt model the 1 with the wider rear wheels works well just noticed when i had back end jacked up of ground fixing a puncher I put the tga in drive and found only 1 rear wheel turns instead of what I would of thought the 2 would drive. Is this normal when rear is up of ground . Like i say tga runs well when all tyres on ground
Yes yes normal just like a car has a differential

Just one more thing I normally replace my motor brushes myself on the past scooters i have owned handy enough by removing the black screw caps around the motor body to release the brushes but this tga s4 GT model don't have the black screw caps around motor body totally smooth all around it no caps to see. Any ideas where i can get to the brushes to check them

@@tomjacques4 I do quite alot of miles like I say have replaced them in the past easy on other scooters but this motor has me baffled lol no sign of finding motor brushes housing lol

What’s the cause of a scooter losing power going up hills battery’s are fine and when I’m 8mph it goes uphill no problem in 4mph it drops off and loses torque
Hi could be the hills just too steep most scooters will slow down heading up a slope. Hence having the option to increase the speed

Hi what do mean fix if the port is faulty you will replace it with a new one there are a few types so send us pictures of what you have so we can advise
I have a GTA breeze s and whilst moving forward it keeps jumping into reverse or wont go into reverse do you know what this could be
I would check the forward and reverse switch. Could be water contamination.
@@tomjacques4 ok thank you for that it dose have the solid canopy and side curtains but have noticed water dripping on there where when it's raining

Shell Reed hi charging socket is attached to a pcb. That could be faulty I recon you have done all the checks that are in the video ?

Shell Reed it’s the part that attached to the charging socket you should see some cables goi f into it. As I say it’s possible that that is the problem but can’t say until someone tests it. Are you not getting a voltage reading at the charging point ?
How about telling us which colour wire goes to which number pin, i.e 1,2 and 3 like brown to which number and blue to which number and so on.
I have breeze 4 but won't charge just saying fault on charger
A few things to check for you. 1. Circuit breaker under the seat it’s visible from the front. 2. Voltage output on scooter charging socket (female) 1&3 pins you need voltage there. Check battery connections
swap to number 4? u only got 3 pins....
so you had to re wire in a new charger socket anyway so could have easily just put it to standard, but you kept it as reverse polarity so you could sell them an expensive charger.
Thanks for your reply. Battery charger that was issued was a 5 amp so not strong enough to charge 90 amp batteries fitted. We always speak to the end user and ask them what they want to do prior to doing any repair. The customer decided to keep it original and to issue the correct reverse polarity 8 amp charger. We have in the past also done what you said mind you it all depends on the customer. PS we sell the charger for £25 less then TGA does.
@@tomjacques4 Thank you for what you have done I have to say that when market stall holders sell mobility scooters its hit and miss the condition they are in the TGA brand I guess they sell their products with good intentions but why do they have to charge extortionate prices
