Working on a car outside in the middle of winter ..... you guys are twice the man I am ....😂
I’m so glad kits like this are finally being made. I still remember when EL neon wire was first sold over 4-5yrs ago but not until recently they started making kits that actually sync together and can have multiple power locations
Agreed!
Street Glow (Fast & Furious Neon Underbody glow tubes ) made this EL WIRE in the 1990’s its old tech but very effective.
Same I'm upgrading my el wire kit to this one. (El wire transformator blew up 😳)
@@Azizdesign_ hello, can you or someone tell me : How to connect the sub box'es to my car's doors?
Thanks for this video. I have leds in my car but this kit is sick. I can't wait until it ships thanks again!
Was totally thinking Tron, as well! Looks awesome!
looks fire 🔥
Great video! as i prepare to move from Ontario to Alberta i realize now just how much its gonna suck to do car project stuff in winter
Thanks dave, and yes definitely worth investing in a garage heater!
Looks 🔥 bro ! My lexus is300 needs this
You guys are 🔥🔥🔥
Aziz, I so enjoyed your introduction to your video. It caught my attention & I watched with interest. But alas, I'm afraid of making a cockup when affixing the ambient lighting to my car. However, thanks for sharing the finished product in your car.
Appreciate your kind words! And apologies for not making a more in-depth tutorial. Reason for not doing so is because it installation varies on every car
Great job bro.
My suprise ! Is your doing it while snowing my respect never stop the grind
Ordered mine yesterday from a different vendor with better price. The main module can control up to 20 sub controllers. Actually you didn't have to wire the sub modules through door boot then to accessory fuse. You could have got power from the door harness itself. Reason theyre wireless sub controllers. You can order extra modules and led strips for rear area. One sub controller can input 2 led strips and 2 light sources (door bowl/handle/feet light etc). Wicked the main can control 20 sub controllers.
Hey could you provide the link to the kit you ordered? And how can you order more of the sub modules along with strips?
where did u get them cheaper?
Which wire did you tap into for the door ones
sharing is cairing.
@@sniperking305 Buy yourself a multimeter, you can see what wires supply 12v with and without acc (ignition on, ignition off etc).
Its very simple, and only costs about $10 for a basic one.
Very cool like a futuristic car 💥💥💥💥💯💯💯
sick asss lighting !
Credit for doing this in the middle of winter in the cold. I would wait til spring. 😀

I have just installed on my Jeep Grand Cherokee. Absolutely love this kit. This was my first project so I learned a few things.
1. You might not be able to tap into existing wires/harnesses in newer car models, since to ECU monitors power through all wires of the car
2. Be very careful with interior curves, the LED strips, are not great with linear curves
3. All modules connect wirelessly to one another. However, these all can be powered through one source 9-16v (parallel circuit).
Hey just wondering what model grand Cherokee did you install these in?
And how was the installation process?
I had the same question. I was thinking about doing this on my first truck. 2014 Jeep Cherokee
What year ?
Yoooo can I see what it looks like? I have an 11 Overland and I'm thinking about doing this.
@@Omar-dq3bkMy Jeep GC is a 2015 Limited. The install requires a bit of patience and knowledge for removing Jeep’s interior panels. Tedious but easy job if you know what you’re doing. CZcams/Reddit is always a great help if you ever get stuck on how to remove any specific panel.
Another great video it looks awesome where can I purchase one at thanks for your time keep up the good work
Thank you boss, link is in the bio :)
Great video, nice examples and tips to install. Looks easy to do. Two questions for you, did you get the 18-in-1 kit or 20-in-1? Also is there a music/sound sync option?
Thank you. I got the 18 in 1 kit, and yes there is a music option i believe but its not as good as i thought it would be
@@Azizdesign_ Any way we can get a CZcams short or video of the example? Thank you, bro! 🙏
Awesome. I just put in some non changing el wire and changeable floor lighting with an deep blue overhead door light. I also had reflective tape on the outside, but my Dad made me pull that off 😭.
Hi! My only question is where did you connect both doors? Main control box is in fuse box, but what about 2 control boxes for doors?
Love your work
can you please show a full tutorial how to install ambient lights on a E class w212 2015 on the current ambient lights places (doors, dashboard) Thanks you
Thank you, yes I will consider it for a future video
bro dedicated fr fr 🙏🏽
Thanks brotha 😎
pro video, motivated me to get some now haha XD
Thank you 😊
It's mega looks truly ace🎉for the money is just mad.
If I'm right each module going to the door just need power and that can be found in the door itself that would save you going via door hinge cable loom
fire vid . what song is playing at the end ?
thanks for the explanation and the good video, but the only thing i didnt understand is, why didnt you install the lightning kit in your garage :D ?
What about different light in the footwell - green. Have you managed to fix this?
Just bought em 👍🏽
This looks sick! How are they powered (both the main and the sub units)--from the looks of it, the doors aren't wired into the main cabin, so how are those powered? Fuse box? Cig Lighter? Any insight so I know what I'll be getting myself into lol
Thank you, the main control unit is power by the fuse box (u just put the fuse they give u in one of the empty slots)and then for the doors, you would tap into any existing power wire
this is dope, my guy start a business installing this!
Thank you bro! Haha i’d love to unfortunately my fulltime job occupies much of my day
Can’t believe you’re just installing this in the snow bro. Couldn’t you have found like somewhere undercover ahah
TRON MOVIE!! 😂😂😂
What are the two songs called at the beginning and at the end?
I just saw a youtube short of a Porsche that has a kit with what looks to be addressable LED
they were changing rainbow color, it was amazing,
also what app does it use, hopefully not symphony light app because it hat app doesn't work
So how is this system holding up for those who have installed it...? Any problems...?
Do the lights just turn on when the car gets turned on/unlocked, or does it have an animaton
Nice
would i need to purchase the kit twice since i have an e90 not an e92 like you boss? thanks
Detailed installation video needed😢
fax
Need this
Yep we need this
Yes
Yupppp
Where did u pull the power from the center dash ?
Have you tried kits from other websites in the past? Or has your experience just been watching this website's kit evolve and improve?
I have tried three separate kits prior to this one, each from different suppliers
@@Azizdesign_ so which kit did you use? I see the link for allie express. But I thought it was a better one
@@levilee6488 link in the bio, the first one
happy you installed on a BMW so I can see how it would look on mine. two questions. does it still look good and how hard would the install be for an amature. example, I DIY install the Pemp head unit no problem.
Yep, still looks great. It’s not terribly hard to install, just some patience and time
Can the brightness be controlled? I have liked the progression of the kits you have used.
Yes ofcourse! brightness is controlled via the app. In many clips of the video, we had it on its brightest setting
when the light is dimmer, isn't the light stronger at the feed and ends?
@@marjaizoltangraphicdesigne7887 nope
Just received my kit… quick question: how do you get the plug on the inside of the door? It’s not like the other kit with the bulb attachment.
You have to feed it through using a coat hanger, remove the rubber wire grommet and feed it through it. You will also have to remove the kicker panel to find an opening
Does lights remember last selected color/brightness combination, or do I have to reselect every time I start the car?
It remembers the last setting yes. No need to keep readjusting
i really want to know if this one on first power does some stupid start animation or if it just reverts to the last chosen colour, thanks!
Nope it doesnt!
This shits fyeeee
Thank you 🙏🏽
The early 2000s are back

I really thought these were going to be the Type 2 or Type S brand car lights. I just have basic Govee lights since I have those smart lights in my home as well. I haven’t taped any of the 4 strips down yet because really don’t know where to put 2 others since I have a true little coupe roadster. But I really want to do lighting like this in the trim but my car is brand new and don’t know about splitting the trims but does look really good and OEM style
I dont see a place to put your code when i go to purchase. Is there something i need to do?
Can it easily be moulded around bends. I’ve found with some kids they don’t bend very well and end up popping out.
It cant bend 30 degrees max, anything more and it would crack the plastic housing. Also if you stick it in well enough, it won’t pop out
how did you tape it into the fuse box?
Does it come with enough fiber optic cables to also run those cables through the back doors as well? Will this even be possible?
make sure to buy the 5 piece kit if you plan on doing the rears aswell.
So only one color or can it do rainbow effects? Thanks
So I installed those on my e92, looks very good. If any of you considering to do this to e92 I have a tip, so basically you dont need to feed the cable from the door to the fuse box, its wireless controllers, All I did I connected cables to the original orange ambient light cables that my e92 had. Also another tip, if you do not want to drill big hole to feed the ambient light in door, you can drill very small hole, what I did was, i took my ambient light to a local phone repair shop and asked them to dissasemble the red connector, they did it That way that after disassembly I can just put back pins easily, so I drilled a very small hole and put the cables one buy one, and after I just connected those cables back, maybe sounds complicated but its very easy trust me. I was very confused with everything at first , because it was my first time doing such a thing, so if you have questions you can ask in the comments and I can try to answer to you :)
thanks great tip, you could have done a video of your installation.
@@coolissimo69 Yes, but I was figuring everything out because it was my first time, If I will install it again in one of my friends car I will definitely do a video :) Anyways if you have questions you can ask here I will try to answer ;)
@@bazaras2520 thanks will do that mate.
Where did you connect the main controller?
hey bro i have a few questions, because i want do install it on my e93.
1. where did you get power from, because i only have 1 12V in the center console and reaching it without looking ugly or drilling isnt possible
2. how did you connect the back footlights an back lightstrips, and is there somewhere a power cable i can connect to?
3. you said you connected yours in the door to the serial ambient light poweroutlet, i dont have them, do you think i can connect them to the window ?
4. i ordered the kit with 75cm lenght for the doors, is this enough for the pretty long e92/93 doors, does it still look good?
ill be very grateful if you could help me out
Just ordered this for my E92 , is there any chance you could do a more detailed install Vid?
Hey jason, shoot me a dm on instagram if you need help with the installation
do you habe a new link, because the link in the description is gone
How long did it take to install?
Bro u need the gopro chest attachment have to adnit that looks really freaking good im gonna order for sure!
haha that wouldn't be such a bad Idea
Its been a little while since the kit was installed, how is it holding up? Also how long was the wait on shipping?
Still holding up great! Took 2 week
Bro, when I get my car, I am so gonna so this lol
My dude couldn't use the garage or a eazy-up for this work during the snow season? 😂 Savage
Dedication 😂
I like the idea and what it can do - what you charge to install one - Edmonton here
Can someone tell me ; How to connect the sub boxe's to my car's power source?
Lol I was watching this video and realized you are in the same city as me
Hi I bought that kit and it came without a wiring harness and also the main box to plug in everything To get power to it I was just wondering what was the price of your kit that had everything in it
Hi brian, please contact the supplier. You should have received the main relay box (everything u see in the video)
But the size of the strip by door is already pre-cut or did you make it that size?
We had to cut the strip to make it the size we desired. Otherwise it was too long.
@@Azizdesign_ hello my question is once you cut the cords how do they still connect from the main black cord that plugs in to cigarette lighter ?
@@lilc707 because one side of the light is connected to the wires, whereas the other side is not
Might have to install these on my e91, but if you have a single hump the length on the lights won’t cover both top/bottom of the dash trim piece right?
Well since this is a universal kit, the lengths vary and i believe the exact specifications is on the product page description. We had to cut the fiber cable a few inches to make it the exact length.
@@Azizdesign_ awesome that’s for the heads up, I saw the post on FB so I had to watch the video, probably going to order them myself too they look great! and then went to come check out the channel, nice stuff man!!
@@robstimson5014 thanks! Cheers man
With this kit when you first turn on the car is there any start-up animation with the lights? For example like flashing red, green, blue or rainbow effect before it finally settles on the previous set color?
No animation nope
@@Azizdesign_ thanks!
Song please
which light options did you select on the website to purchase?
We purchased the ‘18 in 1’ for this car, hope that helps
Looks perfect.
Anyone know if its the $13 one or is it the other ones?
Thats just a single light. The other ones are actual kits with different stuff. The "20 in 1" has all of it.
Is it bright enough to see in the day time?
Absolutely
Hi Aziz, the coupon code is not working when I enter that to buy the 18 in one kit for my Lexus.
Hello Ather, i will get in touch with the supplier and get back to you
thanks, is the link to the kit still available on aliexpress?
Yes check video description
where would i take this to get it professionally installed if i did not want to do it myself
Contact your local tuning shops
the best one in my opinion are the symphony ambient light kit. its the same as this but got some more cool effects
Link?
link? amazon? brand name? price?
Link?
Sorry for the late reply! Check the description in my ambient light kit video. Link will be there !
Hi , did you not install the door handle light? Was looking forward to seeing that 😂
I did not install the door handle bulbs unfortunately, it requires some drilling and precision!
Where did you the the power for the door light strip from?
I wired it to the main power source (the one that plugs into the fuse box)
Name of the song at the intro?
My kit came without a user manual. Is there anywhere I can find it online that you know off ?
No sorry, try contacting the supplier
do you have a link to buy in the u.s. or the name of the product?
the link is in the description
@@Azizdesign_ don't see a link for this product to buy on a U.S. website. Can you provide or can you just give me the full name of the product so I can look it up myself
Both promo codes are not working btw! This is on Wednesday after cyber monday but they are still offering small discounts. I also had a question on how hard is it to wire? The ground can be connected to anything that’s exposed metal? Also the power you said has to be a fuse connected to the fuse box? Also the leds connect all wireless so you won’t have to run cables everywhere correct?
Thanks for letting me know victor, I will contact the supplier and see if I can fix that. As for wiring, it's very simple. the ground connects to any exposed metal body component of the car (try finding an existing ground), and the power connects into the fuse box (just insert it into any open slot). They are all wired but not connected to each other hence the Bluetooth functionality (if that makes sense) Nonetheless it's a very well built kit
@@Azizdesign_ perfect! I watched your other video with the thin strip led and I installed one strip but i don’t want wires hanging everywhere. Especially when i do the doors! So that means I won’t have to run any wires anymore right? Only the ones that connect to the strips themselves?
@@IPL_VIC Yes that's right! the wires are only connected to the ones with the actual strip. Unlike the previous kit I reviewed where everything is wired together, even modules etc.
@@IPL_VIC
You've probably already installed the kit, but if not, don't run any power wires from the battery, just tap into the + and - on the window switch on the doors.
This reduces wiring, and its how the kit was designed to be used.
The sub controllers are wireless for this very reason.
@@VeganBytes interesting, I actually haven’t installed yet! Weathers been too bad these last couple months lol. I will get to it this spring though for sure. Thanks for the tip. One question though, i know how to remove my window switch controls but I don’t think there’s any exposed wiring. I will have to check of course. My cars an Infiniti G37 btw
I was wondering how it was wired thanks alot
Check my latest video
Do you happen to have the name of the app.. to control the lights vea smartphone (Android) as mine came in with no instructions

Hey bro I’m from suburbs of chicago and it looks like you are too. I want to do this to my jeep is there anyway you would do this as a service?
Sorry man im based out of canada actually
Hi Aziz, could you leave an update with how the lights have held up? I am gearing towards these, but if you could post a follow-up video, that would be much appreciated.
It’s been a year, so far so good. Coming out with a detailed video shortly
@@Azizdesign_ thank you. I appreciate it.
I think I am missing something what is the make and model of this kit it looks brilliant Bear Hull UK
It’s a universal kit which works on any car. The link is in my bio
How do you hook up this kit to footwell lights too ?
We wired both footwell lights to the main positive and negative wires of the kit. Hope that makes sense
why he waveing his hands around like a crazy person :P
So will it automatically turn on when the ignition is orrr is that a seting or how does it work ?
Where do you draw the power from ?
You could have put the on / off button in a little better place in front of the gear stick !
Hello, I have a question - can we connect those Symphony LED's as negative pole to the car housing in two doors. In my car it seems that in front doors we have positive and negative cables, but on the other hand in back doors we do not have them (there is only positive cable). So thats the question, is there any risk in matter of connecting back door symphony lighting to the car ground which woduld not go straight from the negative cables? Any help appreciated, Thanks!
It should not matter, as long as its a ground ur ok. What does matter is getting 12v for the positive wire
@@Azizdesign_ Thanks for reply, but one more question - if after connecting LED's as I described, there is no other option than connection to the car chasis "which should be ground". My questions are motivated by the fact, that in instruction for the Symphony kit, they are writing as follows: "taking negative pole from the chasis is prohibited"... Thats why I am a little bit confused :P
Do you notice nighttime glare for the lights on the windows?
Yes, only if its at its brightest setting otherwise its fine!
Isn't there an extension to the rear as well?
There is, i decided to leave the rear as is.
Yes installation video pls!!! 😢
Coming this weekend 👍🏽
Can you do a detailed installation video please ?
Yes, Please
How much length of cable comes with the original purchase and can I buy extra length from the same seller?
Yes, you can buy extra pieces. Just let the supplier know by contacting him
I have a infinity q50 and I don’t know what size it is
