Had our countertop for over 6 yrs. still going strong. Hav only had to replace a simple part for 50.00 and that was after 6 years! Very well made machine! Well worth the investment and easy to use.
Nice! 👏
So the so called warranty on parts is useless then?
Incorrect
What brand did u have ? I'm lookin for a good one right now
Thanks for the informative vid. Gonna check these out!
You’re very welcome! Let me know if I can help with any questions 👍
Thanks, Matt, that was interesting. Will be saving up to get a countertop machine at some time in the future.
You’re welcome Dean! That sounds great, my friend!
They are amazing! And worth it! 💧 Good info., Matt, thank you! 🤗
Thank you Shari!🙏
Perfect b/c my other distiller is fading so I need a new one. . thank you!!!
Either one of these machines should give you excellent results for many years 👍
Excellent points! I love both of our distillers but the automatic has been way more convenient since it’s so hands off!
Agreed! 🙌
Should I get the aquanui or berkey filter?
Excellent info. How many gallons does the counter top model make per day? Also, do you know of any whole house distiller machines?
Thank you! The mini classic CT makes .8 gallons in about 3.5 hours so depending on how often you run it, you could potentially get about 5 gallons or so a day. I’m not aware of whole house distillers but we love our automatic distiller - we have the Aquanui 8/5 automatic model - my 5%discount code works for the Aquanui distillers as well if that’s something you’re interested in.
@@rawintuition Thank you!
Hi Matt. How would you compare the aquanui to the midi classic? One looks a bit nicer. The back order is shorter on the midi. Is the nui really 6 to 9 weeks currently? Thanks.
Hey my friend. From my understanding, the AquaNui 8/5 makes about a gallon more per day and has a slimmer design so it takes up less space than the midi classic. Besides that, they seem very similar, but I've never used the midi classic so I can't really give a fair comparison. I would recommend giving Pure and Secure a call and they would be able to give you a much better explanation of how they differ - and they could also tell you the current status of back orders. You can reach them at 1-800-875-5915. I hope that helps and if I can answer any other questions, just let me know. Thanks!
what is the ph level in the water
Thank you! How has your experience with the larger, automatic model been since purchase? Is there an updated 20% off coupon code? Thank you!
Great question - it takes a little more effort to clean and it might be difficult for some older people to take it apart and clean it... but overall it's amazing and I wouldn't want to be without it. Having it automatically fill itself, distill the water, and turn itself off and store 5 gallons within itself is such a huge plus. The countertop model is great but the automatic model is next level :) If you have any more specific questions, just let me know.
@@rawintuition Thanks tons for your response! How often are you cleaning it? Have you had to replace any parts? And was a plumber needed for installation? 🙏
Matt what would you estimate the cost per gallon of distilled water using the counter top model? Love your program..Stay Healthy
Hey Terence - I was never good at these types of math problems in school haha but according to this article from Pure and Secure: mypurewater.com/blog/2021/01/04/are-water-distillers-worth-the-money/
They say it's as low as 2 cents per 8 oz glass, including the cost of water and electricity. This is of course going to depend on the cost of water and electricity in each person's city. I hope that helps.
Personally, I think the potential long-term healthcare savings should also be factored in, which could save someone many thousands of dollars in medical bills (hypothetically).
@@rawintuition I agree with you 100% on investing in our Health..Our health is our truest wealth..Thank you for taking time to send the information..Stay strong
My pleasure! You as well!
Great content. I am a medical traveler and I am looking for a portable distiller. What do you think about the Megahome Countertop Water Distiller Stainless, Glass Collection??
Thank you! Yeah the megahome would definitely be a good option for taking along on your travels. I have traveled with my Mini Classic CT as well though - so my bias would say to consider that as well ha. But honestly either one would be great. If you do happen to choose the Mini Classic CT - be sure to use my code RAWINTUITION to get 5% off. But whatever you choose between the two, I think you'll be very happy with it.
@@rawintuition Thank you for the info.. Eventually when I settle in one place I will get the one that you have. I appreciate the information you have on the raw food diet. I have been researching it for year and have done a 40 day juice cleanse before. Best thing that I ever did. I eat mostly raw but can't seem to take that plunge. I know I will eventually though. I can't seem to get away from the raw food lifestyle. I can't seem to let it go. I think because I believe it to be the most optimal way of eating there is. Thanks again.
Sounds great! Thanks i appreciate that! My pleasure I’m glad the info has been helpful and I totally know what you mean. It’s one of the main reasons why I continue to live this way - there’s not many other things that i feel so sure about. Thanks again and i look forwards to seeing you around!
Wow that looks gross and thanks for sharing this information to help people heal and drink clean water! Love this MATT!!
Thank you Patricia!!
What is the difference between your AUTOMATIC one AQUANUI VS THE MIDI CLASSIC AUTOMATIC?
Really good question - just from what I can see from their website, the Aquanui (the one I have) produces up to 8 gallons a day and the Midi Classic can product up to 7 gallons a day. The AquaNui looks to have a smaller footprint (takes up less space) than the Midi Classic but the AquaNui is about $200 more than the Midi Classic. If you would like more detail than that, I would suggest calling the company and asking them about it. Either one that you get, you can use my discount code to get 5% off :) Keep me posted on what you decide!
@@rawintuition Your a slaes rep for the company, YOU should be able to answer the question! Tell the truth, the midi and aqua nui are very difficult to clean!
I don’t own the midi classic so I’m definitely not the best person to explain the difference in their various models - I’m an affiliate for the two machines that I own - not their entire line of products.
The automatic machines can certainly be more difficult to clean than a countertop model but once you’ve done it a few times it’s not that bad and in my opinion, the convenience of the automatic feature makes it worth it. The key is to clean it regularly - the frequency will depend on your water quality - but just don’t let too much sediment/calcification build up between cleanings and that will make the cleaning process better. Hope that helps!
I have a question regarding the Mini Classic CT Countertop Water Distiller from MYPUREWATER. The glass jar that collects the distilled water is OPEN to the air around it, hence CO2 and other things from the air can DISSOLVE inside the distilled water while it is collecting over the 3.5 hours! Is that a bad thing? How can we fix this?
Great question - there is nothing to be concerned about with the water being exposed to the air for those 3.5 hours. The amount of CO2 that might get absorbed is very small. It would be impossible to avoid having the water come in contact with the air. Is there any certain reason you're concerned about it?
@@rawintuition Thanks for replying:) Maybe I was thinking CO2 will acidify the water but then your stomach is highly acidic anyway! Im thinking if CO2 can get dissolved in distilled water then what about other chemicals in the air?:)
I would say to make sure you’re distilling your water in an area where there isn’t a lot of dust or other air contaminants floating around 😊 if the ph of the water is a concern, you could always add something like sodium bicarbonate or toss in a few cucumber or lemon slices to add some organic minerals to it.
@@rawintuition Great advice! I was getting a little creative here and thinking along the lines of buying a silicone stretchy cup cover and cover the mouth of the jar with that, then attach a small stainless steel funnel on top to catch the drops hahahaha:) Dont know if it will fit under the machine though hehehe. I don't think I am concerned with pH because your stomach like I said is acidic, water will not acidify your body:) It is very sad to see the marketing out there misleading people, making them think alkaline is better..... maybe poor quality minerals are added to the water making it alkaline, it has nothing to do with the water itself!
Haha that is creative! Let me know how it all goes 👍 Yeah there’s a lot of misleading marketing out there for sure. It’s good to be aware of that and to do our research 🕵️♂️😊
Do they still have a sale on all there machines??
Yes i just checked their website and it looks like they do have sales going on right now.
@@rawintuition how long does backorder take?
Should i still order it or wait?
I’m not totally sure…i know someone had ordered one and she got it in like two or three weeks i think. The best way to know would be to email them on their website to see what the wait time currently is at. But i would think the sooner you order the sooner you would get it.. but maybe check with them first just to see. Thanks!
I live in Australia does aquanui ship to Australia?
I’m not exactly sure but if you contact them at either 1-800-875-5915 or info@myaquanui.com they could tell you 😊
Yes
i am trying to order with your promotion code, but it's not giving me 20% off.
That’s great to hear that you’re getting a distiller. The discount code RAWINTUITION will give you 5% off. If I can help with anything else just let me know! I would love to hear how you like the distiller after you’ve been using it
@@rawintuition yes! I love the convenience factor! We were ordering water from a 5 gallon bottle company, but having to lift the bottles onto of the dispensing machine every few days is too much for us senior citizens. Plus its pretty expensive as we have to pay about $60 a month for such delivery service.
I definitely think you’re going to love the convenience and cost savings of the distiller!
Why is there a pre-filter on the Automatic model, but there is no pre-filter on the countertop model? Thanks!
Great question -i asked the same thing. I’m told it’s because they couldn’t find a feasible place to put a post filter between the the boiling tank and the storage tank where it would be Easy for the customer to change/replace the filters …so they decided that a pre filter was the best Way to go. They said if someone really wants to have a post filter on the automatic models that it is possible to do but you would need to call and talk to them about how to do it. In my opinion a post filter is ideal but I didn’t want to go through the trouble of manually adjusting the machine.
@@rawintuition That's pure BS! They put that filter because they dont want the built in "boiling chamber of the Aqua Nui to get too mineralized between cleanings...(and brother,...just try cleaning one of the floor models! a real PAIN in the butt!
The pre filter is the remove VOCs and other volatile chemicals…Not minerals
@@rawintuition Bullcrap! I used to service the machine , you are incorrect! VOC's are the steam chamber and its evaporative and condensing cycle to take care of!
@marcob.7801 its literally called a VOC filter. You must be thinking of a different machine
Coupon doesn't work
Yeah that sale was a few years ago but you can still get 5% off using code RAWINTUITION
Hope that helps! Thank you!
You need a water softener. All those calcium deposits wreak havoc on your plumbing and appliances. Never tell your customers to just keep using the cleaner. Pure Water sells softeners. Help people with the complete package.
Thank you but I do have a water softener.
@@rawintuition Then your boiling chamber should be clean.
@@ArtOfHealth YOUR boiling chamber should be clean...!!!!
Expired coupon
True. Hopefully another sale is put on soon!
Now here’s the next issue with water distillers is your distilling location. If you distill in your home, you know took water based pathogens and now made them air born. Yeap so now your breathing in these toxins which is worse than drinking them. I distill on my deck or in my garage. Never heard anyone bring this up in post yet
Interesting thought.. but the water is boiled in an enclosed chamber so I’m not sure that would be much of a concern.
Should I get the aquanui or berkey filter?
Compared to other water filters, Berkey seems to be a good choice but personally I would choose a distiller over a filter. And that’s not because I make a commission from the distillers haha. Distillers are the best water purification method available. Are you wanting a countertop distiller or a larger automatic distiller? The Pure Water Mini Classic CT is the countertop distiller I would choose but if you’re looking for a larger automatic machine, the AquaNui has been great for us as well.
@@rawintuition do you like the countertop distiller better or the automatic one ? Thanks so much for your response 💕👍 have you heard of aqua tru distillers?
It just depends on what your needs are. They both work great but if it’s just for one or two people or if you don’t go through a lot of water in a day, i would say the countertop would be the better option but if it’s for 3 or more people or if you just go through a lot of water in a day then the automatic is really nice to have. The automatic is quite a bit more expensive though and require some assembly and potentially the additional cost of having a plumber hook it up to the water line if you don’t know how to do that. Also cleaning the automatic machine is a little bit more of a process than the countertop model. Also if you live In an apartment or something like that, then the countertop model would probably be the way to go. I hope that helps. And no I’m not familiar with that brand but i will look into it
@@rawintuition thanks so much . I don’t think aquanui ships to Australia. Do you have any advice on picking a water distiller?
Aww I’m sorry to hear that. You might want to still try contacting them and see what they say. They could have a distribute there, But I’m not sure. Whichever one you decide on, i would just make sure it has a good warranty, look into as many reviews that you can find, and i would recommend not going with the low end/cheapest ones as I’ve heard so many people have bad experiences with them. 👍
