Glad to be the first one to comment here. You gave a very fair and well supported review here of this DSA model. More and more people are discovering the treasure trove that is DSA and their many designs. It seems this model in particular does get rather good reviews by those unbiased against DSA. If you are looking for other good longswords by DSA their Black Prince is also very good! Recently they have also come out with two new models.

I would love to have Mr. Excalibur tell me more about the black prince sword. How was the distal taper, and was it close to the website on the specs? Like the P.O.B. on it at 2” up from the cross guard? And I don’t remember for sure, but I think it was about 3lbs 5oz in the specs? I am torn between this one reviewed here, and the black prince? What was ahistotical about this one? Not everything they make is but this longsword seemed decently historical.
