Shaun going by memory I think you can also move the home point where you want it to be by using the map to mark a new home point.

Just what I need thanks. Seems like a frequently used feature so perhaps they should give access on main screen without using three dots etc etc.

@@shaunthedrone I tried to change the home point today. The screen was very bright so it was hard to see what was going on. But as far as I could tell, I didn’t have the option to click on the controller icon. However, there seemed to be a tab labelled controller on the right hand side, but when I pressed it, nothing happened. Has this change home point function been updated since you made your video Shaun? Maybe a firmware update ? In the end I just used the original home point and walked to collect the drone. Not ideal.
@@PeteEdmunds Hi Pete, as far as I know, nothing has changed as I need to get the down in the air to check and I'm a bit busy at the moment but will check and maybe make a video of this problem, many thanks for making it aware to me.
For me, it would be ideal if I could simply program one of those two programable buttons on the back of the controller to automatically update the home position with a press of a button.
In that same scroll down window I'd pick the controller as the home point.
I take my bike on fishing trips and I rarely stay in one place very long so a simple button press would be just the thing for me.

@@shaunthedrone I actually did mention this over on the DJI forum.
I got a reply from one of the DJI representatives or moderators stating that she would relay my suggestion to those at DJI who were in charge of such things.
This was a few months back and I've not heard any more about it so, I suppose that my suggestion has fallen on deaf ears.
If I could get more people to request the same RTH feature it might go a long way towards getting DJI to actually make this RTH update, especially if those requesting this RTH mod or upgrade included CZcams content creators with high subsciber numbers.

Swipe down from the top of the screen twice quickly and select screen recording ✅
Top right, swipe down and press the Screen record. Once recorded, it will be on your internal memory. Plenty of videos out there to show how to get the screen record

No Dynamic homepoint on the 4 Pro ?
No, not like some of the third party adds where it tracks you on the move but on the 4 Pro you have to re-set. Many thanks for watching.

When I press Return to home, I don’t get that green flight path show up on RC2 control. Also I don’t get the little H icon show up on my controller if my drone is facing in my direction.
Hi, you need to contact DJI Support and let them know that you're not getting any direction or H icon on your RC2. Hope you get this sorted.

@WHIKID1 I was actually able to help someone hahaha I only got mine 5 days ago. First thing I did was update the software. Have long way to go to learn to fly it. Glad it worked for you. Enjoy the journey.
