    I have a 1949 TO20 that i am wanting to rebuild, looking for a couple of parts tractors. I did find an unused drawl bar that was like hitting the lottery because over here in the USA most of them have been all wobbled out of round due to pulling over weighed loads. You're a tremendous help, and you're video will be of help. Thanks.

    Thank you for your helpful video! I have a Massey Harris Pony and the clutch has started sticking a little and when I took the starter off it is very oily inside. I guess I need to look at changing the rear engine seal.

    • @BundyBearsShed
      @BundyBearsShed  Před rokem +1

      Yes and have a good look at the front gearbox seal while you are there, it is probably easy to do with the tractor split.

      @@BundyBearsShed I'll have a look at that too since the goal is to have a tractor that doesn't leak. The Pony tractors actually have a frame around the engine so rather than splitting it like the tea 20 I have to take the engine out.

    Heya mate, keen viewer from over the ditch here. Can't stress enough how mint your videos are. I'm rebuilding a MF 35 petrol myself so this stuff is fantastic. Quick question: when you said this tractor has a 'stuck' clutch, does that mean it was stuck with the pedal in the depressed position (no power going to the wheels or the other way round? Cheers.

    • @BundyBearsShed
      @BundyBearsShed  Před 4 měsíci +1

      Stuck as in the plate was stuck onto the flywheel and even though the pedal was feeling good the clutch would not release.

    G'day. Was surprised to see so few bolts holding that heavy flywheel on.

    Hello from Sweden, you videos of the Fergie are very good. A question, the finger springs that hold the fingers to the pressure plate, do they sold seperatly or do they only come with the pressure plate. One more time thanks for your videos, take care.

    • @BundyBearsShed
      @BundyBearsShed  Před 5 měsíci

      Not available separately as far as I know on the early clutches but on the 9"/11" etc they are.

    One nice tyre on the Fergie, Olympic Gripster, a great shame they are not made here anymore, or anywhere.

    If you marked the position of the ring gear relative to the flywheel, removed the gear and rotated it 45deg before refitiing it would that work as a quick fix?

    • @BundyBearsShed
      @BundyBearsShed  Před 2 lety

      Yes it does, I have done that myself and the newer lead in helps. I have also re ground the lead in and that can work too if you are out on site and need to get going.

    Hello! I have oil leaking where the bell housing bolts to the engine. I have been assuming it is engine oil, but is there any way it could be the transmission/diff/hydraulic oil?

    • @BundyBearsShed
      @BundyBearsShed  Před rokem

      Not normally, the trans oil will often leak from the little tell tale hole further back.

    Could you give me an idea of why my P.T.O. lever slides out of gear when I have it engaged? I have to keep a bungee cord attached to it while brush cutting in order for it to stay engaged. Any thoughts?

    • @BundyBearsShed
      @BundyBearsShed  Před 2 lety

      I think your PTO shaft may have a twist in it from hitting something causing it to ride out.
