Sweet potatoes grow like weeds here in Florida zone 9a. They have little hairs and every little hair can potentially root into a new plant. I literally pull them up and pile them up into a compost pile. Its so difficult to get rid of it. If you let one small piece of the vine drop anywhere you dont want, new plant 😅.
