  • In this video we will be addressing the health concerns about using plastics such as PVC, HDPE and others in the fish pond. There are of course concerns about leaching of chemicals or microplastics in aquaponics and aquaculture.

    Hi, I dig your system, I have a very small maybe 900 gal system I use bluegill, goldfish and Koi with about 100 gal ebb flow bed. I plant broccoli, chives, onions, garlic,pepper mint, tomato, and a grapefruit tree.

      Hey I'm glad you liked it. Someday I will move into aquaponics. Too much on my plate right now. Do you grow in floating rafts or more of a chop n flip system?

      @@idratherbehomesteading2632 modified chop n flipped with a display tank. I built it to test if eating fish fed soy would trigger my bean allergies
