This old French Prov furniture is the kind that NEEDS to be painted, simply because it is never made of fine wood. Once the original finish is yellowed or otherwise damaged, paint is the savior that keeps the piece in service and out of the landfill. It's also perfect for decoupage because of the shape of the piece, and the details that are meant to be highlighted. This set turned out to be beautiful!

I LOVE it, Amy!! First, I’m glad you’re feeling better. Believe me when I tell you I get how hard it is when you have to put down the brush and recover. Now back to the pieces, oh my gosh! They are adorable, yet not child like (although these would be beautiful in a girls room too). Just soft and springy, with an amazing pop of color.💜

😲 the set is beautiful! Wonderful job! Quick tip about that sprayer, when it sprays the vibration causes your gage to move which can cause you to spray out more than intended. So what Melyssa and i did was get a sharpie and made a line on the gage and the edge. Now when it moves off the line we can readjust it and continue spraying with no issues! Hope this tip helps 😉

Very pretty blend and that top blue color was my fav! I have a transfer that I bought about a month ago and I’m afraid to use it lol. I fear it cracking on me and I would lose my mind! I’m too much of a perfectionist to just add paint and try blending it. Good job 👏
