  • in this tutorial you will see me working On my studio table Which I’ve had for a number of years and it quite often gets Refurbish A good few times a year. This time around I decided to go with Annie Sloan’s paint technique called wet wax It’s a wonderful technique that I really love and I think it could be very useful for many different uses including Large furniture pieces With rustic charm coastal or even Château inspired for all of the materials involved in this tutorial had over to www.anniesloan.com/ And you can even find the book with a step-by-step guide from Annie Sloan herself.

It’s absolutely gorgeous! Thank you for teaching and showing people to not be afraid of the products! People are soo scared to even use some of their supplies for fear of messing up, but really it’s all just different techniques with different outcomes. The more we use our supplies the more we’re going to learn how they work and how we can manipulate and bend them to our liking! 💗

I dreamt of you the other night, you were my neighbour, we lived on the penthouse of a tall building and shared the terrace, one day I was playing this really loud rock music for some therapeutic reason, I knew it was loud and would disturb you, after a while I heard you calling me through the terrace, I came out apologising about the loud music and saying "it's these paper thin walls, I can hear you too when you speak" but I am going to turn it down, while I spoke I could see you peeping in to my house to see my furniture, so I asked if you would like to come in and see it and you said yes....crazy I know!

    Hi Jonathan 👋🏼
I’m sorry if I missed it but did you seal the final (wet) white wash with clear wax or was there no need for more wax? I guess I’m asking, how durable is the final washing without wax? Afraid clear wax darkens the wash and takes away from the perfectly beachy weathered look.
