Trash to Treasure Furniture Makeover Using Mint by Michelle Paint and Transfers😍

In todays furniture makeover video I am trying out some new products from the Minnt by Michelle line. I am using her new paint in the color My Frenchy Blue and her beautiful Transfer. This is a trash to treasure makeover. I Will show you the start to finish process of transforming the dresser Into a beautiful piece fit for a princess.

Gorgeous work!!!!!! You did a lovely job with the transfer, and I agree the gilding wax added that little something.
At the bottom, in the middle, is a raised design on the dresser. I would have used a hint of gilding wax on that design to just balance out your design.

Oh Amy, I'm in love! The color & transfer are gorgeous together, and I love when you zhuzh up the hardware. I have a 'woodland princessy' piece that needs a refresh and I'm envisioning your piece! I don’t quite understand the seemingly need to fix all the brush strokes with this kind of paint. I’m trying to learn and I haven’t seen this exact brush stroke style. Just when I thought one could go in different directions. Beautiful piece. Ty for showing!

Yes!! They have a few transfers now. Decoupage papers are tricky for me but I’m going to give it another go soon. I love the swan!! I have it too. I was just looking at the swan piece you did And it is beautiful!

I went back and forth trying to decide whether to use the wax on the Bottom centerpiece. I felt like the design made better sense blended in rather than standing out. I may go back and add the wax before putting it up for sale🤔 I'm still on the fence about it 🙂

It looked to me that you were getting better coverage on the first coat with the Dixie Belle Mini brush...

It does look that way but I ended up using two coats total either way with full coverage on the second coat.
