During this video, I will walk you through the steps needed to assemble the Toyota 4Runner PreCut Kit 2001+. The kit will be shipped flat packed, when unpacking you will find all the precut wood pieces shown in the video needed to build your system in 1-2 hours.
This kit will build dual 36" slide-out drawers with locking drawer slides. Inside each drawer are 2 removable dividers to organize your supplies. You can choose between 3 options of false tops to turn each drawer into a cooking or workspace. The system is cut out of a high-quality 7ply poplar core wood, then CNC'd to make the building process effortless.

For locking door slides on each drawer working mean four individual cut outs on the door face
On my website you can add options for the locking drawer slides and there are only 2 holes 1 on each side.
This is brilliant! I would love to have one of those pre-cut for my old rav4! Maybe a universal pre-cut drawer system?! 650mm deep so it could fit any SUV.. just an idea if you don't have it already.

This is awesome! Definitely would have bought this rather than the headache I gave myself building mine in my 07 4runner. Rest assured when I get my 2021 I will absolutely buy this. Without a doubt telling all my boys about it to. How many different vehicles do you produce them for or did I just not pay enough attention

okay now make a kit double cab tacoma rear seat delete. Seats are 70/30 so you can sell the kits as a pair or separately if someone needs to keep a seat for a kid or pet

Do you recommend using glue in addition to the screws?
Glue doesnt hurt. i do recommend it on the drawer fronts to side jam attachment.
Omg... that's so awesomeness. Are we able to order the precut with some different options like maybe instead of two drawer just one drawer and some how Attached to the platform of my 4runner? Nevertheless, love it.
The kit comes with hardware to mount it to your 4runner. But i do not have any single drawer options because it needs strength in the middle to sleep on it

Is the4runner the only car you can add drawer in your company. I have a 2002 qx4 and I would love a kit for it
At the moment the 4runner is the only vehicle yes.
Just curious on a basic drawer design, Do you need to have a bottom wood piece or could I replace that with L brackets to my floor? Seems that the slides themselves would create the bottom structure of the box and could just use L brackets at the sides base. Just wondering if you had done that before. Seems a waste to bolt a box floor to another floor like Goose Gear floor as an example. Oh and nice work!
For my system it is imperative that i have a bottom to keep everything square and much easier to work with.

@@SolidWoodWorx I ended up designing one with SolidWorks. Just finished it last night lining in with marine 1/4" carpet to minimise rattling noises while driving. I had to design in a hidden removable bottom in the lower drawer to access the Jeep jack well. Could have just bought removable slides for the access but didn't think about it. Could share the design if you are interested. I didn't do fancy interlocking joints though. Just used L brackets on the box and yes a floor with a cutout as well for the jack access.

Do you suggest using any wood glue where the joints meet? Would that be overkill?
It never hurts! I would suggest it most where the drawer face meets the drawer.

Hello Brian. Do you have any plan for the Jeep Gladiator? Or something universal like 44" wide x 60" and 14 or 15" high would fit a lot of short bed trucks. Would love to have something like this, especially since you're local to me. Also lots of Gladiators in Socal

Do you make these with a surface height even with the wheel wells on a 5th Gen 4Runner? I’m really interested in this system.
The height is about 1 inch lower than top of wheel wells

How do you create the lip on the inside of the drawer that the false top sits on?
The cnc does it but I’d used to do it with a dato blade

Do you use 3/4" pieces with dados to make the separated compartments on the drawers? Or, is it two 1/2" pieces of plywood glued together with space in between for the separators?
The dados are made only 1/4" into the wood, and the dividers are 1/2" thick.
