One thing I'd like to see is a vision for industry. Was using the hololens 2 for shipbuilding and it helped display how the cad model overlaps with the current construction. This was awesome as it showed us manufacturing defects and development errors as our engineering team made new revisions that haven't made it to the yard so showing the current model with the construction helped a lot. Sadly it seems that Microsoft cancelled the hololens 3 so if apple can take it's place it may continue to get better.
The fact that multiple reviewers that deal exclusively with tech can't figure out how to use a basic function probably means that the feature is in need of a re-design or a re-mapping of what buttons need to be pressed and for how long.
Exactly!
or maybe they are just getting older or no longer interested in learning
@@xksnif you need a manual for the off function, you fucked up
More like some reviewers need to stop focus 100% on views and money and actually review the product
@@toututu2993 Its a shitty way to turn off the device though. What are you on about?
good thing theres reviews of this thing, i was thinking of buying it in a few years
I like how apple didn't even try to clear the misunderstanding
Reset and restart are two different things. One is terrifying for some people if they read it wrong, the other is a simple shut down and power on.
Its a shutdown, not a reset or restart
Blud has waited his entire life for this
That’s it, that was the one thing I was looking for! Thank you! Now I can confidently purchase this product 🙏🏼thank you /s
This is what happens when you try to be oversmart and throw away the user manual without reading it
(For all the other reviewers)

That’s completely irrelevant
@@greggchaffin1596 is it though? Is it irrelevant when american soldiers couldn't defeat men in sandles? Men hiding in bushes? Lol all that might and a couple of bamboo sticks and goat herders is all it took, so yes it is relevant CHEERS FOR THE UNDERDOG!
‘You _can_ use the Apple Vision Pro, just note that it’s overly complicated at way too high a price and it’s almost useless.’
I know, this clown is trying so hard to defend it cause he knows it was a waste of money
Most hilarious case of sunk cost fallacy I've seen in awhile
@@weplayvrgames eh, there is some value to it. This guys just doing tech reviews, it’s his thing, but the problem with people buying this is it was more meant to be a pioneer for Apple. They very likely had no intent to make something actually useful, just to make a benchmark for future products. Tbf I still can’t figure out what this non-vr (if you notice, they are very very careful to never call this thing vr or any related thing because it’s not supposed to be a part of that industry in the same way) headset is really meant for, feels like more of a gimmick honestly, but we’ll see what they do in the future.
So is basically any apple device, nothing new
@@F1r1at eh, their phones are useful. They’re overly restricted and absurdly expensive, though. They do have a tendency to magically change from being a cellular device to an over glorified and overvalued paperweight after three years, though. Totally doesn’t have anything to do with malicious practices by the a-holes running the company.
@@GamerX-2000 my android phone with basically same parameters as Iphone 15 (except for maybe the camera) is 2 times cheaper. And I don't need to waste few hours of time and install different programs to connect it to my pc with windows, or to my laptop with linux.
I thought £3500 was too much until finding out this! I’m definitely getting at least 2 on order
Well that just makes sense. I’m surprised reviewers haven’t tried this
If everyone is getting that wrong, that is Apple's fault for not making it intuitive for most people.
It's probably stated in the manual. I bet none of the other reviewers actually bothered to read it
@@ZenithPotentiai doubt that
@@ZenithPotentiaUX design 101 is to minimize usage of the manual. The thing teaches you how to use it when you boot it up for the first time, it has a tutorial. It’s their fault for not including vital information in the tutorial
@@harrylane4exactly. UX experience literwlly teach you that a good UX deisgn software minimizes any user errors.
@harrylane4 That is very much true. But at the end of the day, the manual is there for people to use. They definitely should have included how to power off the device in the tutorial, but they didn't.

I'm so glad that I now know a slightly less inconvenient way to turn off the VR headset I'll never be able to afford.
I don’t have a Vision Pro and even I knew that was the most logical Apple way to power it off💀
Imagine being able to afford Apple vision pro 💀
Remember when it was a bad thing to turn your computer off by just unplugging it?
“You know I’ve something of a scientist myself”
I mean, why did people think yanking out the cable was a good way to power it off? The button combination is not straightforward but clearly written in the user manual also with a bit of trying you can figure it out. By the way, that weird, non easily removable connector in the battery pack is most likely there to prevent accidentally unplugging the power, potentially causing harm to the system and maybe even to you because suddenly you don’t see the surroundings anymore.
Tbh that button combination is probably one of the last things I would try
You can remove the connection on the battery pack by using a sim ejector
Ah yes apple and their obvious double power off button
ok it's not as obvious as any other device but iPhone and iPad have the same shutdown combination. If it was me, I would have tried the combination before I pulled the plug. Yeah I know apple is renowned for doing weird stuff
There is nothing obvious about the combination, especially if you're not an Apple user. The obvious thing would be holding the power button but... Apple.
MKBHD said this too watch the whole vid.
No
he didn't

Disconnecting the battery from the Vision Pro is like unplugging the power cord from Mac Studio
apples fault of not having it easy and clear for most users that it exist
We getting closer to SAO in real life🗣️🗣️🔥🔥
Fact fr I can't wait to full Dive into SAO
To be fair, it's quite dumb that you have to press and hold TWO buttons to turn it off
The only way to turn off the Apple Vision Pro is to beat 100th floor boss.
Crazy what happens when you read the manual
Bro is smarter than most tech channel creator 💀
I think they were probably purposely told to sell the physical disconnect to wear downing the porting area so people have to buy new chargers or a new vision after doing it for so long. Sounds like apple and their fucked up business practices that their consumers love so much.
This is the type of thing that would be quite hard to think of if you aren't told
Restarting the device is not turning it off
Man, the focus goin cray cray
